Techniques for using attention events for audience expansion are provided. In one technique, first interaction data that indicates multiple interactions by the first entity with multiple content items is stored. The interactions includes an interaction that is based on an amount of time that content within one of the content items was presented to the first entity. Based on the first interaction data, similarity data that identifies one or more content delivery campaigns that are similar to a particular content delivery campaign is generated. Second interaction data that indicates interaction(s) by a second entity with content item(s) is stored. Based on the second interaction data and the similarity data, association data that associates the second entity with the particular content delivery campaign is stored. The association data may be used to identify the particular campaign in response to receiving a content request from a computing device of the second entity.
SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADVERTISEMENT CAMPAIGN TRACKING AND MANAGEMENT UTILIZING NEAR-FIELD COMMUNICATIONS

In particular, the presented platform is configured for determining incremental lift of a product due to an advertisement and/or a promotion that is distributed online. Presented herein, therefore, are devices, systems, and methods of monitoring, measuring, and/or optimizing lift of an advertising campaign, such as a real-time, digital ad buying campaign implemented by a suitably configured advertising platform.
AGGREGATED COST PER ACTION PREDICTION
One or more computing devices, systems, and/or methods for aggregated cost per action prediction are provided. Cost and conversion count data, comprising costs for a set of content items to be displayed to users and a count of conversions corresponding to actions performed by users in response to being provided with the set of content items, is tracked. The cost and conversion count data is inputted into a set of decay calculators that utilize different decay strategies. Cost per action predictions by the set of decay calculators for a content item are weighted to create an aggregated cost per action prediction, wherein the weights are based upon whether decay calculators correctly or incorrectly predicted cost per actions for the set of content items.
Tracking offers across multiple channels
Provided is a process, including: obtaining a coupon issued by a merchant, the coupon being redeemable both on-line, at the merchant's website, and in-store, at a physical location of the merchant; sending the coupon to publishers for presentation to consumers by the publishers on user devices of the consumers; and receiving indications from the user devices of the consumers that the consumers interacted with the coupon, the indications indicating a consumer selection of an in-store redemption option or an on-line redemption option.

An online system obtains a composite prediction associated with a content item indicating a likelihood that a viewing user of the online system will perform a type of conversion associated with the content item via one or more paths of events leading to the type of conversion. The online system obtains the composite prediction based on a tree data structure describing the path(s) of events. Upon identifying an opportunity to present content to the viewing user, the online system identifies the tree data structure corresponding to the type of conversion from multiple tree data structures maintained in the online system and obtains a composite prediction associated with the content item by evaluating and performing operations associated with nodes of the tree data structure while traversing the nodes. The online system then determines whether to present the content item to the viewing user based on the composite prediction.
Dynamic marketing asset generation based on user attributes and asset features
Marketing assets are automatically generated from asset components having asset features relevant to target users. Asset delivery event data regarding the delivery of marketing assets is initially collected to identify asset features of delivered marketing assets and user attributes of users receiving the marketing assets. The asset delivery event data is processed using machine-learning techniques to generate a model capable of selecting asset features given a set of user attributes. When a request for a new marketing asset is received for a particular user, user attributes of that user are identified and provided to the model to select a set of asset features. The asset features are used to select asset components, which are combined to form the new marketing asset.
Post sale referral tracking
An e-commerce system is provided that tracks purchase transaction across multiple client devices. The e-commerce system stores hop information describing when a customer is exposed to a product of a vendor through an affiliate who advertises the vendor's products. The e-commerce system determines from the stored hop information which affiliate or affiliates to compensate for the sale of a product. This allows the e-commerce system to determine, after the sale, whether additional affiliates need to be compensated for the sale of the product based on the hop information.

Provided is a system for creating a news article containing an indirect advertisement, the system including an advertisement database including an advertisement item and an indirect advertisement composed of text matching the advertisement item, an advertisement search unit configured to, when a text-type original news article to be exposed to a webpage is input, search the database for an indirect advertisement candidate matching the original news article and select an advertisement candidate list, an advertisement position determination unit configured to determine a paragraph of the original news article into which a selected advertisement is to be inserted, and an advertisement phrase creation unit configured to create a news article containing an advertisement by inserting the selected advertisement into the paragraph of the original news article and expose the created news article.

A method including displaying content elements on one or more websites to users. This method can also include tracking impression response data comprising (a) a response of the user to the content element of the content elements displayed on the one or more websites and (b) a time of the response of the user. Additionally, the method can include receiving a request from a first user. The method can further include determining weightings of the content elements based on posterior distributions using the impression response data, as adjusted by a temporal decay factor based on the times of the impression response data for the content elements. The method additionally can include generating the webpage to comprise the selected content element. Other embodiments are disclosed.
