Targeted advertising using temporal analysis of user specific data
Methods, systems and apparatus, including computer program products are described for providing temporally relevant targeted content items. A set of user data is used to determine current user interests as indicated by one or more recent events. Content items relevant to those events are identified and ranked based on a time that the corresponding event occurred. One or more of the top ranked content items can be delivered to a user.
Prioritization of messages within gallery
In some embodiments, a computer implemented method of processing messages may include providing a dashboard to be displayed to an owner of a brand, the dashboard comprising a message received from a user device, the message comprising an instance of an appearance of a mark or logo of the owner of the brand; receiving a prioritization of the message from the owner of the brand; creating a gallery of messages including the message; and prioritizing the message in the gallery according to the prioritization from the owner of the brand.
MOTION AND GESTURE-BASED MOBILE ADVERTISING ACTIVATION
The presentation of advertisements to a user on a mobile communications device is disclosed. A first external input corresponding to a triggering of an advertisement delivery is received on a first input modality. An advertisement overlay is displayed in a graphical user interface in response to receiving the external input. Advertisement invocation instructions are displayed within the advertisement overlay. A second external input is received on a second input modality different from the first input modality. The second external input is translated to a set of quantified values. An advertisement is then displayed within the advertisement overlay in response to a substantial match between the set of quantified values translated from the received second external input to the set of predefined values corresponding to the advertisement invocation instructions.
AUTOMATIC EVENT PROMOTION SYSTEM
Embodiments include a platform and/or application configured to select an event on a first electronic site using a source device, and integrate with a presentation of the event a selector for a micropromotion application. An invitation to the event is automatically generated at the source device in response to selection of the selector. Invitees are added to the invitation from at least one of a social media application and a contact application coupled to the source device. The invitation is configured to include a reply link, and the reply link is configured to generate a reply to the source device. The reply link is configured to generate, via one or more third party platforms, presentation of service offers at the source device and invitee devices of the invitees. The service offers include offers of services of the event provider and services related to the event.
EVENT DETECTION USING INQUIRIES
Inquiry data from one or more sources (e.g., client devices) may be analyzed to determine if key terms, date terms, and locality terms are indicative of an event to occur at a locality during one or more dates. Events that are detected may be communicated (e.g., via an electronic message(s)). An owner of a property may receive the electronic message(s) that are communicated for detected events and the owner may act to garner interest in stays at their property. Travelers searching for a property to stay at during the event may receive the electronic message(s) in the form of an offer (e.g., an email, a text message, a Tweet, a newsletter, etc.). The inquiry data may be received in real time and/or may be accessed from a data store. The Inquiry data may be curated to remove non-essential information and/or to include edited key terms, date terms, and locality terms.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS TO MANAGE AN EVENT BROADCAST IN A SOCIAL NETWORK
Systems, methods, and non-transitory computer readable media are configured to monitor event information relating to an event broadcasted to an audience of a social networking system. The event information can include users who are participating in the event. It can be determined that a predetermined entity is participating in the event. A notification that the predetermined entity is participating in the event is provided during the event to at least one of a broadcaster of the event and a user participating in the event.
Event wizard server and methods for use therewith
An event wizard server includes at least one processor that executes the event wizard server application that bidirectionally communicates event planning data with a user of a client device via a network interface. The event planning data includes: event type menu data, event type selection data, event size selection data, location data received from the client device, event budget menu data, event budget selection data, event budget data, event option menu data, event option selection data, event invitee menu data, and event invitee selection data.
USING MICROPATTERNS TO MOTIVATE A CUSTOMER
A method and system for using micropatterns to motivate a customer is disclosed. The technology determines that a triggering event is likely. In addition, a customer's location is also determined. A micropattern outlook for a customer's location is accessed. A time when there will be a forecast break in a micropattern is determined. A message is then provided to the customer to incentivize the customer, the message having a time window within the forecast break in the microsystem and an incentive for the customer, wherein the incentive is not related to the micropattern.
APPARATUS, METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REPLACING ADVERTISING AND INCENTIVE MARKETING
A method and system for replacing advertising is provided herein, whereby users are selected to participate in events based on user attributes and event sponsor criteria. Accordingly, event sponsors may target intended audiences by sponsoring and then populating or casting an event with participants meeting desired criteria. Once assembled, the sponsor may exchange information with the participants and participants may exchange information with one another. Participant criteria may include personality and appearance attributes, popularity, reputation, number of social media followers, tastemaker status and overall ability to influence the opinions, perceptions or actions of other potential participants. Event sponsors may focus spending to assemble the largest, relevant cast desired, efficiently, through the use of geo-located devices associated with participants under control of software associated with the present invention. As opposed to broadcast advertising, the present invention enables spending money only to engage desired participants.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR VIDEO-STREAM BROADCASTING
The invention relates to a method and system for video-stream broadcasting of a car race event. The method comprises receiving an input video-stream of the car race event, and receiving a broadcast request for output video-stream comprising geographical location of the user device. The method further comprises providing a content database comprising video content elements associated with geolocation data defining a geographical area. The method further comprises identifying a race car in the input video-stream, generating a video item for the identified race car by selecting a video content element which fulfils the criteria that the video content element is associated with geolocation data defining the geographical area inside which the geographical location of the user device is based on the broadcast request.
