Using data analysis to connect merchants
Techniques and arrangements for performing data analysis in order to generate connections between merchants. For instance, a payment service may determine, based at least in part on transaction information, that a first customer conducted a first transaction at a first merchant followed a subsequent transaction at a second merchant. The payment service may further determine that a second customer conducted a second transaction at the first merchant followed by a subsequent transaction at a third merchant, Based on transaction information associated with the first transaction and the second transaction, the payment service may create a buyer profile including the first customer and second customer. Upon the payment service receiving a request to process a third transaction between the first merchant and the second customer, the payment service can generate a recommendation that the second customer conduct a subsequent transaction to the third transaction at the second merchant rather than the third merchant. The payment service can then send a electronic communication that includes the recommendation to the first merchant or the second customer.
Systems and methods for generating digital items
A television service provider system includes interactive elements embedded within advertisements or other content related to a particular product or service that a user may select to receive an initially non-redeemable coupon for the product. The system then electronically communicates to the seller or advertiser system the indications of such electronic interactivity between the viewers of content and content related to the product being sold or advertised. The advertiser or seller may then electronically activate and thus convert the non-redeemable coupon into a redeemable coupon. A system for processing retail transactions redeems the coupons for the product for a particular user using an identifier of the user associated with the account of the user with the television service provider.

A bar code generator generates a bar code related to a deal offered by a merchant, wherein the deal includes deal data related to an offer to sell a good or service. The system also includes a bar code reader for reading the bar code. The remote server includes a deal database in which the deal data is stored. A deal transaction request process creates and transmits a deal transaction request via a telecommunications network from a customer computing device to the merchant computing device, and a deal transaction approval process receives the deal transaction request from the deal transaction request process and approves or rejects the deal transaction request. A notification process transmits an approval or rejection notification to the customer computing device as an alert that the deal transaction request has been accepted or rejected.
SYSTEM AND METHOD OF AUTOMATED DELIVERY OF RELEVANCE-CHECKED BENEFIT-CONVEYING CODES DURING ONLINE TRANSACTION
A system and method of performing in-context of automated delivery of benefit-conveying (BC) code of an e-commerce website is provided. The system comprises means for identifying a BC code input field in a BC context of the e-commerce website, means for storing a plurality of BC code collections for supported e-commerce websites, and means for acquiring information about relevance-checked BC codes of the e-commerce web site. The system comprises means for displaying an UI panel in an vicinity of the identified BC code input field, with the UI panel configured to list information about the acquired relevance-checked BC codes in such a manner that an individual BC code from among the acquired BC codes can be selected through selecting a UI entry listing information about the individual BC code. The system comprises means for inputting the selected individual BC code into the identified BC code input field.
LEARNING AFFINITIES THROUGH DESIGN VARIATIONS
Disclosed herein are system, method, and computer program product embodiments for determining a user-preferred feature type. An embodiment operates by maintaining user-presented features associated with user-presented records, wherein the user-presented features comprise one or more user-presented feature types. After receiving a user-desired feature of the user-presented features, a user-preferred feature type of the user-presented feature types is determined based on the user-presented features and the user-desired feature. Thereafter, a new record and associated feature are to be presented with the new feature being of the user-preferred type.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR AUTOMATED MASS MEDIA COMMERCE
