Systems and methods allowing for a customer to initiate a fuel purchase transaction utilizing a mobile device are described. The disclosure provides for electronic commerce using streaming media. (1) E-commerce opportunities are combined with incentives (e.g., random, pseudo-random, skill-based, or responsive to aggregate buying) for participation by recipients, enhancing the likelihood of responses from recipients and the value of distribution of the promotional information. (2) Techniques are applied to a server associated with e-commerce opportunities, to avoid unduly burdening that server. (3) The promotional material is associated with elements of the streaming media being presented, such as an actor or object. Systems and methods are described herein for analyzing messages and other information provided in relation to a web communication, a mobile application communication session, a phone communication, or another type of communication. For example, a system and method are provided for initiating a text message communication session between an agent and a user. A two-way communication session may be facilitated between the user and the agent. A mobile telephone number disclosed by the user during the two-way communication session may be detected, and a text message communication session between the user and the agent may be initiated if a mobile telephone number was detected. Availability status associated with a provider of items or services may also be analyzed to determine an agent for communicating with the user.
GENERATION OF INTERACTION-BASED KEYWORDS FOR SPONSORED PRODUCTS USING SEARCH QUERY INFORMATION
Described herein are methods and systems for generating interaction-based keywords for sponsored products using search query information. A client device executes a browser application to render one or more webpages of a website. A server receives one or more search keywords from a webpage displayed on the client device and determines a user interaction initiated at the client computing device with a product displayed in a first set of search results containing one or more products. The server associates at least one of the search keywords with the products based upon the user interaction, and determines sponsored products for display based upon the association between the search keywords and the products.
INITIATING A PROMOTIONAL BENEFIT BY USER-ACTIONABLE LINK
An advertisement, including a description of a promotion and a link, are included in a shipment of a sales item to a buyer from an online shopping site. The promotion is crafted to entice the buyer to respond to the link and trigger a further shopping opportunity based on the initial purchase. Upon responding to the link, the buyer is presented with a further promotion that includes the most recent consideration of buying incentives which are based on knowledge of selling considerations such as inventory and the marketplace that a seller may use to generate enticing content in the promotion. The seller may also take advantage of knowledge about the shopping and purchasing history of the buyer at the online shopping site in tailoring the promotion.
