CLASSIFICATION AND MANAGEMENT OF KEYWORDS ACROSS MULTIPLE CAMPAIGNS
20170357985 · 2017-12-14 ·

A system for classifying and managing keywords across multiple campaigns comprises a classification manager, a bid management system, a web analytics tool and a search engine. The classification manager interfaces with the bid management system and the web analytics tool to provide user interfaces for reviewing data about specific keywords across multiple campaigns. The classification manager includes a classification keyword repository, a classification creation module, a classification measurement module and a classification user interface module for generating the user interface. This is particularly advantageous because statistics corresponding to keywords can be classified across multiple campaigns to provide greater flexibility in the analysis of web data. The present invention also includes a novel method for the classification of keywords across multiple campaigns.

Methods and systems for automatic selection of classification and regression trees
09842175 · 2017-12-12 · ·

The present invention provides a method and system for automatically identifying and selecting preferred classification and regression trees. The invention is used to identify a specific decision tree or group of trees that are consistent across train and test samples in node-specific details that are often important to decision makers. Specifically, for a tree to be identified as preferred by this system, the train and test samples must both agree on key measures for every terminal node of the tree. In addition to this node-by-node criterion, an additional tree selection method may be imposed. Accordingly, the train and test samples rank order the nodes on a relevant measure in the same way. Both consistency criteria may be applied in a fuzzy manner in which agreement must be close but need not be exact.

IMPLICITLY ASSOCIATING METADATA USING USER BEHAVIOR

Social media networking applications, web sites, and services creates implicit relationships between users based on their interest or participation in real-world and optionally virtual or online activities in addition to explicitly defined peer relationships. User profiles, activity entities, and expressions may be associated with metadata to assist in searching and navigation. Metadata is implicitly associated with user profiles, activity entities, expressions, or other data entities based on user behavior using metadata collector. A metadata collector is a poll, survey, list, questionnaire, census, test, game, or other type of presentation adapted to solicit user interaction. A metadata collector is associated with metadata elements. When users interact with a metadata collector, their user profiles and the data entities included in their interactions become associated with the metadata elements of the metadata collector. These metadata element associations may then be used for any purpose.

PING COMPENSATION FACTOR FOR LOCATION UPDATES

In one embodiment, a computing system receives a first set of location updates sent by a first user. Each location update corresponds to a user visit to a particular place, and each location update is determined by a mobile client device of the corresponding user via a first or a second location method. The computing system receives a second set of location updates sent by a second user, sent via only the first location method. A place-visit factor for the second user is calculated based on the total number of unique places visited by the second user within a particular period of time, a first number of places visited by the first user determined from location updates sent via the first location method, and a second number of places visited by the first user determined from location updates sent via the second location method.

SYSTEM AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING TARGETED MARKETING OFFERS TO CONSUMERS VIA AN ONLINE PORTAL
20170337582 · 2017-11-23 ·

A system and methods for delivering targeted marketing offers to consumers during a session with an online (web-based) Internet portal, particularly suitable for online banking portals of financial institutions. An offer management system receives information corresponding to an advertising campaign of an advertiser corresponding to terms of a targeted marketing offer to be provided to a consumer accessing the online portal, and provides advertising campaign data corresponding to the targeted marketing offer and to an offer-triggering event to an offer placement system. An offer placement system receives the advertising campaign data, determines the occurrence of the offer-triggering event by a consumer during an online session with the online portal, and delivers information corresponding to the targeted marketing offer to the consumer. In response to the offer-triggering event, such as display of a list of transactions, the predetermined targeted marketing offer is delivered to the consumer during the online session.

Transaction-enabled systems and methods for transaction execution with licensing smart wrappers

Transaction-enabled systems and methods for transaction execution with licensing smart wrappers are disclosed. An example system may include a smart contract wrapper configured to access a distributed ledger comprising a plurality of IP licensing terms for a plurality of IP assets comprising an aggregate stack of IP. The smart contract wrapper may be further configured to interpret an IP description value and an IP addition request and, in response to the request and IP description value, to add an IP asset to the aggregate stack of IP. A transaction execution circuit provides a transaction implementation command in response to at least one of a transaction geographic value or a transaction jurisdiction value.

METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR MAINTAINING INTEGRITY OF A USER'S LIFE STATE INFORMATION
20170323012 · 2017-11-09 ·

A method for enabling a user to view information filtered to align with the user's life state includes enabling the user to register and become a member of an information delivery system. The user provides the information about the user's life state. This information may include at least demographic information, ethnic information, social information and psychological information. The user may grant partners permission to access the information about the user's life. The granting of the permissions is performed and controlled by the user and may be limited to some information about the user's life. The partners are also members of the information delivery system. The partners are evaluated using a set of criteria before they become members of the information delivery system. The partners may use the information about the user's life to filter its information according to the information about the user's life. The method also enables the partner to participate in a marketplace to procure the information about the user's life, to rate the user according to the user's behavior, and to enable search engines to filter search results according to the information about the user's life.

SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR OPTIMIZING THE SELECTION AND DISPLAY OF ELECTRONIC CONTENT
20170286553 · 2017-10-05 ·

Systems and methods are provided for optimizing displays in one or more user interfaces. An exemplary method may include retrieving web entries from a database and generating a plurality of candidates based on the retrieved web entries, where each web entry of the web entries is a clickable item that is displayed on the one or more user interfaces. Additionally, provide the plurality of candidates for display on the one or more user interfaces and determine click-through rates for each of the plurality of candidates. Thereafter, create a display pool of candidates to display from plurality of candidates based on the click-through rates and update the display pool of candidates responsive to retrieving additional web entries from the database.

CONSUMPTION BASED SUBSCRIPTION FREQUENCY RECOMMENDATIONS

Disclosed herein are systems, methods, and non-transitory computer-readable storage media for consumption based subscription frequency recommendations. A system configured to practice the example method first evaluates purchase statistics for an item to determine a consumption frequency. The system receives from a user a request for the item, and presents to the user a subscription recommendation based on the consumption frequency. The system can also provide recommendations for accessories by evaluating purchase statistics for an item to determine an accessory for the item, wherein a number of times the accessory is purchased with the item exceeds a threshold, receiving from a user a request for a subscription for recurring purchases of the item, and presenting to the user a recommendation to include the accessory as part of the subscription.

Method and system for optimum placement of advertisements on a webpage

A method and system for placement of graphical objects on a page to optimize the occurrence of an event associated with such objects. The graphical objects might include, for instance, advertisements on a webpage, and the event would include a user clicking on that ad. The page includes positions for receipt of the object material. Data regarding the past performance of the objects is stored and updated as new data is received. A user requests a page from a server associated with system. The server uses the performance data to derive a prioritized arrangement of the objects on the page. The objects are arranged according to a calculation and returned to the user on the requested page.
