The present disclosure describes a method of integrating information, including real-time information, into a virtual thematic environment using a computer system, including accessing the stored information from a database or downloading the real-time information from a source external to the thematic environment; inserting the real-time information into the thematic environment; and displaying the information to a user within the thematic environment. In one embodiment, the computer system is connected to a holographic projection system such that the images from the thematic environment can be projected as holographic projections. The computer system includes an interactive software application platform having at least one thematic/publishing logic module which contains thematic environment rules; at least one digital content library module which provides content management on the thematic environment; and at least one quantum imaging environment (QIE) module which interprets content such that the content is manipulated and accessed by any device.

Dynamically rearranging and deploying advertising selection logic

A method and system for deploying and customizing advertisement selection logic without requiring a shutdown and/or restart of system resources. A first arrangement of advertisement logic may include filters to be executed in a pipeline model. A second arrangement of advertisement selection logic may be determined based at least in part on information received. Alternatively, the second arrangement of advertisement selection logic may be automatic based at least in part on statistics or defined hints. The second arrangement of advertisement selection logic may be implemented using different filters or rearranged filters in an updated pipeline model.

Displaying content items based on user's level of interest in obtaining content

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for presenting content items. In one aspect, a method includes obtaining, for each of one or more first applications, a user's level of interest in obtaining content based on a number of user requests for content from the application that result in less than a given amount of content being presented to the user. Based on one or more obtained levels of interest, a content item for a second application that has available content is selected. The second application can be different from the first application. The content item is displayed on a display of a user device.

10841476 · 2020-11-17 · ·

A wearable apparatus and method are provided for selectively disregarding triggers originating from persons other than a user of the wearable apparatus. The wearable apparatus comprises a wearable image sensor configured to capture image data from an environment of the user of the wearable apparatus. The wearable apparatus also includes at least one processing device programmed to receive the captured image data and identify in the image data a trigger. The trigger is associated with at least one action to be performed by the wearable apparatus. The processing device is also programmed to determine, based on the image data, whether the trigger identified in the image data is associated with a person other than the user of the wearable apparatus, and forgo performance of the at least one action if the trigger identified in the image data is determined to be associated with a person other than the user.

The keyword handler is to access a first database using the keyword to retrieve an advertisement associated with the keyword. An agent generator is to present an interactive electronic agent on the display device to present the advertisement. The presentation of the interactive electronic agent including presentation of spoken audio corresponding to text presented on the display device.

Aggregation of unique user invocations in an online environment

Methods and systems for determining a unique invocation of an online feature are disclosed. A key is distributed to multiple users. Upon performing a user action, the key is sent to a Bloom filter. If the output of the Bloom filter is a negative activation, the invocation is deemed to be unique. If the output of the Bloom filter is a positive activation, the invocation is deemed to be non-unique. For a large data set, the computational overhead of processing the key with the Bloom filter is significantly less than the brute force database approach. Thus, in large systems with many millions of users and possible user actions, disclosed embodiments allow assessment of a unique action in a timely manner.
