Commercials on mobile devices
Among other things, videos and commercials are downloaded to a mobile device for storage on the mobile device and later playout on the mobile device. The downloading includes downloading of metadata associated with the commercials and based on which the mobile device can select commercials for insertion into videos being played back to the user of the mobile device. The commercials to be downloaded are selected based on one or a combination of any two or more of the location of the user, the type of mobile device, and personally-identifiable information about a user of the mobile device.
CROSS-SCREEN OPTIMIZATION OF ADVERTISING PLACEMENT
The current invention relates to a computer-generated method for optimizing placement of advertising content across multiple different devices. The system can allocate advertising campaigns and plans to various inventory types based on the probability of accurate consumer matching. Consumer matching can be achieved by generation of look-alike models in a consumer's device graph to predict future consumption behavior. The system includes an interface through which an advertiser can access relevant information about inventory and success of a given placement.
NOTIFICATION MACHINE WITH DYNAMIC MESSAGING INTERVAL
A machine provides a user with repeating messages that reference a purchasable product. The time interval to be inserted between the messages is modified dynamically by the machine, based on a popularity score of the purchasable product, as determined by the machine. The machine accesses social media servers and obtains counts of communications that reference the purchasable product. The machine accesses threshold values that each correspond to a different social media server and its application programming interface (API). By comparing the counts of communications to their corresponding threshold values, the machine determines which counts transgressed their threshold values and calculates a popularity score of the purchasable product based on those counts. Based on the calculated popularity score transgressing a reference popularity score, the machine modifies the time interval that will be inserted between the messages that reference the purchasable product.
ELECTRONIC DIGITAL DISPLAY SCREEN HAVING A CONTENT SCHEDULER OPERABLE VIA A CLOUD BASED CONTENT MANAGEMENT SYSTEM
Described herein is an electronic digital display screen having a content scheduler operable via a cloud based Content Management System (CMS) including related systems, methods, and apparatuses for implementing the same. In accordance with a particular embodiment there is an electronic digital display screen having a scheduler to receive advertiser preferences and a default playlist from a content management system, in which the scheduler is to display multimedia content during a plurality of time slots according to the default playlist when viewership information is not available. The electronic digital display screen further includes sensors to capture video analytic data for analysis by analyzing pixels of the video analytic data captured to detect a number of viewers and to determine demographic characteristics for viewers detected; and further wherein the scheduler is to select and display multimedia content via the electronic digital display screen in at least one of the plurality of time slots different than the default play list based on the number of viewers detected and the demographics characteristics for the number of viewers detected according to the one or more advertiser preferences when the viewers are detected at the electronic digital display screen.
TEMPORARY SUSPENSION OF ELECTRONIC COMMUNICATIONS
Disclosed are various embodiments for a transmission service to suspend temporarily transmission of electronic communications to a recipient. In one embodiment, the transmission service receives a request to suspend receiving electronic communications temporarily for a suspension period. In response, the transmission service suspends transmitting electronic communications to the recipient during the duration of the suspension period. Then, the transmission service resumes transmitting electronic communications to the recipient upon the expiration of the suspension period.
DISPLAYING AND DETERMINING CUSTOMER DATA
This disclosure relates to displaying and determining customer data relating to multiple customers. A merchant's device sends a request for customer data. The request comprises request data indicative of a query time and of a query distance. The device then receives customer data indicative of a number of customers that are located within the query distance from a merchant location at the query time based on itineraries defmed by schedule items of the multiple customers. Each of the schedule items is associated with location information and timing information. Finally, the device generates a display to display the customer data. The number of customers that are located within a query distance is according to schedule items, such as calendar entries, of the customers. As a result, the number of customers is predicted accurately based on the calendar entries and represents different travel routes between locations defmed in the schedule items.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR PROVIDING OFFERS USING A MOBILE DEVICE
A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
Time-related System for Promoting Sales
A time-related system for promoting retail sales based on the buyer's birthday, wherein the month and day of birth are read as an hour and a minute respectively. This marries the calendar birthday to a specific time on a digital clock and expands the traditional annual birthday promotional opportunity to a daily opportunity. Experienced by every person twice per day, local time at the point of sale, this birthday-minute is in one embodiment used to promote and automatically discount purchases made during that minute or within a few minutes grace period thereof. In another embodiment, the birthday-minute may be extended to become a birthday-hour, expanding the system to the entire hour for all buyers born in the correlated month. In another embodiment, this system creates a direct connection and multiple opportunities for commerce with the buyer through daily contact related to his or her birthday-minute.
DIGITAL DISPLAY SYSTEM AND METHOD
Embodiments of the invention provide a billboard display method and system configured for at least partial, remote control by a viewing user using a messaging application. The viewing user can be a user positioned within a viewing distance and line of sight of the billboard and actually physically observing at least a portion of the billboard display by looking at or towards the billboard display. Further, the billboard information provided by the viewing user can be based on the viewing users observation of the billboard display and anything displayed on the billboard display. Some embodiments include a camera coupled to the billboard image server and positioned in a line of sight of at least a portion of the billboard display. The billboard information can be based on the viewing user viewing at least a portion of the billboard display via the at least one camera.
COMPUTER IMPLEMENTED CUING SYSTEM FOR DISPLAYING ADVERTISEMENT THROUGH AN INTERACTIVE COMPUTER BASED APPLICATION
A computer-implemented cuing system for displaying advertisement through an interactive computer based application includes providing an interactive computer based application on a first computer based device and providing a cuing software operably associated which provides a predetermined use countdown of the interactive computer based application where upon reaching an end point of the predetermined use countdown initiates a realtime streaming for a predetermined time of a first video advertisement for presentation on the first computer based device.
