METHOD FOR OPERATING A DISPLAY SYSTEM HAVING A DISPLAY APPARATUS BY TAKING INTO CONSIDERATION A PROFILE OF INTERESTS OF A USER, AND DISPLAY SYSTEM
A motor vehicle has a display system with a display apparatus arranged on an outer side of the motor vehicle in a manner in which it can be viewed by a user outside the motor vehicle. An item of optical information is displayed on the display apparatus having content that is determined by an electronic computing device of the display apparatus by virtue of communication with the display apparatus using a mobile terminal. The mobile terminal is used to create an interest profile which characterizes the user on the basis of use of the mobile terminal and the interest profile is transmitted to the electronic computing device, so that the optical information can be determined for the user on the basis of the interest profile of the user for display on the display apparatus.
IN-VEHICLE MEDIA CONTENT MONITORING AND REPORT GENERATION
The invention provides a novel and unique system and method for cross channel in-vehicle identification of media, source, and consumption measurement and analysis. Real-time measurement and analysis of all applicable forms of media that a driver or passenger may consume inside of an automobile can be achieved. This includes AM/FM radio, Satellite Digital Audio Radio Service (SDARS), stored media such as CDs, MP3s & DVDs, streaming media, internet radio, audio books, podcasts, text-to-speech content, use of hands-free calling and other forms of audio, including content routed to the In Vehicle Entertainment (IVE) system through integration with a smartphone, media player or similar external Consumer Electronic (CE) device via wired or wireless connectivity, including but not limited to USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, and the like, and also including integration platforms such as APPLE CARPLAY, GOOGLE ANDROID AUTO, HARMAN AHA RADIO, PANASONIC AUPEO, PIONEER ZYPR, FORD SYNC, MIRRORLINK, AIRBIQUITY CHOREO, and the like.
Server and information providing method
The server is configured to communicate with a plurality of power-supplying vehicles and a plurality of power-receiving vehicles. The server is configured to notify, to matched vehicles (candidate power-receiving vehicle and candidate power-supplying vehicle), a candidate gathering location list including respective pieces of information of a plurality of parking areas owned by third parties different from users of the matched vehicles, so as to make an inquiry to the users of the matched vehicles to select one of the plurality of parking areas included in the candidate gathering location list. The server is configured to determine a gathering location for the matched vehicles using the respective pieces of information of the parking areas selected by the users of the matched vehicles, and is configured to transmit the information of the parking area of the determined gathering location to the matched vehicles.
PRESENTING AN ADVERTISEMENT IN A VEHICLE
A technique for providing advertisement information is disclosed. The technique includes, in part sending, from a device built into a vehicle, a first set of data to a server, the first set of data corresponding to measurements performed by one or more sensors, receiving a first set of elements from the server in response to the first set of data, presenting one or more elements from the first set of elements to a user of the vehicle on a display in the vehicle, and receiving at least one input corresponding to at least one selected element among the one or more elements.
MOBILE MARKETING COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS
A system to enable mobile marketing communication that includes a vehicular window coupled to a vehicle, an electronic display positioned adjacent to the vehicular window, and an information store that includes adverts. A vehicular state sensor is positioned proximate to the vehicular window and configured to detect driving events associated with the vehicle. A control circuit is communicatively coupled to the electronic display, the information store, and the vehicular state sensor. The control circuit is configured to determine, via the vehicular state sensor, the driving events. The control circuit is further configured to convey, via the electronic display, an advert when the driving event is a left turn, a right turn, a reversing state, or a parked state. The vehicular state sensor include lateral and longitudinal accelerometers that detect the lateral and longitudinal acceleration of the vehicle.
PEER SHARE COMMUNITY SYSTEM WITH MOVABLE DISPLAY SCREEN
An information sharing system with a display screen and a network computing system is disclosed. The display screen may be capable of either being manually moved by a person or move automatically under its own power. The apparatus also includes a power system, a communication subsystem, a memory and a computing device. The communication subsystem communicates with the computing device, the network computing system, and the memory. The network computing system has an end-user display screen. The network computing system is configured to receive media and media secondary information, associate the media and media secondary information to a unique identifier, and show the media and the unique identifier on the display screen. The networking computing system is further configured to receive the unique identifier and an end-user account, and then show the media secondary information on the end-user display screen.
APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR USING CONNECTED VEHICLES AS AN ADVERTISEMENT PLATFORM
By way of example, novel systems and methods for reproducing advertisements on connected vehicles are disclosed. In one example embodiment, a system of connected vehicles parked near in a parking lot and each delivers advertisement and participates in an advertisement event. Each of the connected vehicles is configured to reproduce one or more advertisements when one of the connected vehicles is determined to receive a signal from a remote controller associated with the one of the connected vehicles.
VEHICULAR DISPLAY DEVICE
A vehicular display device includes at least one display panel arranged on a vehicle body of a vehicle and configured to display an image, and a display control unit configured to control display of the image. The display panel includes a movable portion provided on the vehicle body, and the display control unit includes an image control unit configured to control a display form of an image when the movable portion is operated.
Systems and methods for remote operation of robot vehicles
An autonomous robot vehicle in accordance with aspects of the present disclosure includes a land vehicle conveyance system, a sensor system configured to capture information including surrounding environment information and/or vehicle subsystem information, a communication system configured to communicate with a remote human operator management system, at least one processor, and a memory storing instructions. The instructions, when executed by the processor(s), cause the autonomous robot land vehicle to, autonomously, determine based on the captured information to request a remote human operator, and communicate a request to the remote human operator management system for a remote human operator to assume control of the land vehicle conveyance system, where the request includes at least a portion of the captured information.
Information providing system and server
An information providing system includes: a power supply facility installed at a parking area of a shop; and a vehicle connectable to the power supply facility via a power cable. When the vehicle is connected to the power supply facility via the power cable, the power supply facility is configured to transmit information to the vehicle via the power cable.
