Portable Electronic Device and Method for Displaying Data Thereon
Disclosed are a portable electronic device, such as a smartphone with a touchscreen, and a method for displaying a graphical user interface (GUI) thereon. The GUI has a first area enabling a device user to interact with a display application designed to be unstoppable by the user, and a second area enabling the user to interact with other applications. The device executes three applications: the display application, a service, and a plugin. The display application displays data in the first area of the GUI—these data may include advertisements. The service uninstalls interfering applications, such as advertisement blockers; updates the three applications when new versions issue; and ensures that the display application and the plugin are always executing. The plugin ensures that the display application and the service are always executing. The three applications may execute using elevated permissions, to prevent them from being stopped or disabled.
Booking method and system
The invention relates to a method and system for booking reservations in a booking system and synchronizing bookings among several booking systems. The system comprises at least one booking system; at least one service provider; a mediator service; a client, and at least one client terminal device that can be a mobile device and that includes a dialogue. The client uses the dialogue to enter information into the system and the mediator receives inquiries and answers from the at least one booking system, the at least one service provider, and the at least one client. The mediator transfers and adapts information between them. The method and system are particularly suited for use with mobile phone users by Small Message Service messages.
System And Method For Incentivizing Wireless Device Users To Interact With Sponsor Offers And Advertising
A computer system communicates with sponsors, mobile wireless devices, and wireless service providers to provide the sponsors with access to wireless device users for accepting offers to interact with sponsor content. The system is configured with programmed instructions that when executed by a processor downloads an application program to the mobile wireless devices, the application program being configured to receive incentive offers identifying conditions for receiving credits from one or more of the sponsors, and receive messages from sponsors that transfer money to an account associated with an operator of the computer system so that the sponsors have access to and contact with the wireless devices. The messages that transfer money to the account associated with the operator of the computer system are generated after the application program has been used to accept and perform the conditions identified by at least one incentive offer received by the application program.
BOUNDARY-SPECIFIC ELECTRONIC OFFERS
In an approach to determining a boundary-specific offer, one or more computer processors determine a user of a mobile device is within a pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors determine a first notification of an offer corresponding to the pre-defined physical boundary. The one or more computer processors send the first notification of the offer to the mobile device. The one or more computer processors determine whether the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary. In response to determining the user of the mobile device moved outside of the pre-defined physical boundary, the one or more computer processors invalidate the offer.
System and methods for a micro-engagement platform
A micro-engagement platform system and method for creating and launching micro-engagements is disclosed. The platform enables creation of a set of one or more micro-engagements, which are short snippets of information exchanged as part of an overall goal of customer engagement; couples micro-engagements to intended customers on their mobile device via messaging; collects responses that a customer sends immediately or at a later point in time; initiates the next micro-engagement in the sequence after getting a response from the customer to the previous micro-engagement as part of the overall goal. The platform chooses from one of a plurality of modes of delivery for that snippet of information; modes can be SMS, mobile browser or ore or more mobile apps.
Method and system for digital record verification
A system and a method are disclosed that enable a mobile device to use an encoded tag to initiate and maintain communications with at least one remote server. The encoded tag is positioned to identify a point of interest, and in response to using the mobile device to scan the encoded tag, communications regarding the point of interest may be initiated. A single encoded tag may be used to obtain and update recorded information about the point of interest, to notify others about an issue related to the point of interest, to log into the system, and to wait to be alerted about an issue related to the point of interest. If an issue relating to a point of interest has been reported, the system and method may monitor the reported issue to ensure that an action has been taken to address the reported issue.
AUTOMATIC AFTER CALL APPLICATION DOWNLOAD PLATFORM
This disclosure provides methods, systems, and platforms for automatically prompting a mobile device user to download an application to their mobile device after a triggering event. Triggering events include calling a business, receiving a call from a business, and navigating to a website. In some embodiments, a business can run a targeted campaign to automatically prompt a mobile device user to download an application. In some embodiments, the platform interacts with an application installed on the mobile device. The prompt displayed on the mobile device includes an actionable option to download an application.
Wearable personal digital device for facilitating mobile device payments and personal use
Provided is a wearable personal digital device for point of healthcare saliva testing. The wearable personal digital device may comprise a processor, a display, biometric sensors, activity tracking sensors, a memory unit, a communication circuit, a housing, an input unit, a projector, a timepiece unit, a haptic touch control actuator, a band, a mounting clip, a saliva sample insert apparatus, a pinhole, a light emitting diode board, a battery, and a set of sensors. The processor may be operable to receive data from an external device, provide a notification to a user based on the data, receive a user input, and perform a command selected based on the user input. The housing may be adapted to enclose the components of the wearable personal digital device. The band may be adapted to attach to the housing and secure the wearable personal digital device on a user body.
Systems and methods for presenting location related information
Systems and methods for presenting location related information after a user arrives at a place. In an aspect, when a user gazes at a display of a standby device, information presentation begins. In other aspects, when a user shakes a device or says certain words to a device, and then gazes at it, a presentation starts.
METHODS, SYSTEMS AND APPARATUS TO GENERATE MARKET SEGMENTATION DATA WITH ANONYMOUS LOCATION DATA
Methods and apparatus are disclosed to determine a consumer classification segment. A disclosed example method involves generating, with a processor, a list of consumer classification segments based on geographic indicators associated with a mobile device, associating, with the processor, the mobile device with a first consumer classification segment of the list of consumer classification segments if the geographic indicators were retrieved while a first application was executed, and associating, with the processor, the mobile device with a second consumer classification segment of the list of consumer classification segments if the geographic indicators were retrieved while a second application was executed.
