A system and method including a downloadable application which forces to view targeted advertisements on their mobile device in order to gain access to use of the mobile device. The ads appear on a lock screen of the mobile device upon powering up or waking up of the mobile device. The user can take one of several actions with respect to the displayed ad and upon such action screen is unlocked and the user is provided with full function of the mobile device. The user can be incented for each action through the accumulation of points which can be used towards paying the user's phone bill or for receiving another reward.
Method and apparatus for managing allocations of media content in electronic segments
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, receiving a request to forecast allocations for a new descriptor, the new descriptor differing from preexisting descriptors, each of the preexisting descriptors being associated with a subset of locations of a network of locations, each location corresponding to an electronic segment in electronic canvases, and the new descriptor being associated with a new subset of locations of the network of locations, identifying one or more affected descriptors having one or more overlapping subsets of locations of the network of locations and one or more non-overlapping subsets of locations of the network of locations, determining a forecast of allocated locations in each of the one or more affected descriptors; identifying, according to the forecast, at least a portion of allocated locations in the one or more overlapping subsets of locations that are displaceable resulting in a number of displaceable allocations, and determining, according to the number of displaceable allocations, a forecast of available unallocated locations with displacement. Other embodiments are disclosed.
LIVE IMAGE PROVING SYSTEM
A live image providing system according to an embodiment of the present disclosure provides a real-time live image of each specific location. The live image providing system includes a plurality of image provider terminals transmitting real-time image data containing an external view of a specific location and location information on the specific location, a live image service user terminal requesting for the real-time image data on the specific location, and a platform server transmitting to the live image service user terminal real-time image data of an image provider terminal having location information corresponding to the specific location when receiving a message requesting for the real-time image data on the specific location from the live image service user terminal.
Deal scoring system and method
Prospective deals for a deal vendor's deal inventory may be scored according to one or more population-specific expected-yield scores, such as expected revenue yield, expected new customers yield, and the like. A prospective deal is categorized and characterized according to a number of yield-related characteristics. Some or all of the prospective deal's characteristics are mapped to yield components derived from completed deals that have been offered to a particular population. An expected-yield score for a prospective deal with regard to that population is obtained by combining the mapped yield components.
Systems and methods for automated mass media commerce
Systems and methods for implementing point of advertising purchasing include using mass media publications configured for or containing service, product or vendor transmittable signals, such as from radio frequency identification tags. In a preferred arrangement, a consumer perceiving an advertisement of the mass media publication may activate a reader in a portable communications device, such as a smart mobile or cellular phone, to receive information from the radio frequency signal associated with the advertisement to identify a vendor, product or service associated with the radio frequency identification. The smart mobile phone or communications device of the consumer may communicate with a system of a vendor across a network to order a product or product information from a system of the vendor over the network by using the information from the radio frequency identification.
System and methods for determining location of pop displays with wireless beacons using mobile applications on mobile devices
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (“POP”) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. A wireless signal from a POP display may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may provide the unique identifier in the wireless signal and a retail location of the mobile device to a remote server. The retail location of the mobile device may he provided by a mobile application (e.g., a retailer app) on the mobile device. The remote server may determine the retail location of the POP display by associating the retail location of the mobile device with the wireless beacon.
Method and apparatus for providing network information
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, a method for processing an advertising request message, including, receiving an advertising request message from a mobile device, determining if an advertising exchange server associated with the advertising request is permitted to receive enhanced information associated with the mobile device if a service provider is permitted to provide location information associated with the mobile device responsive to determining that the advertising exchange server associated with the advertising request is permitted to receive the enhanced information, responsive to determining that the service provider is permitted to provide location information, adding location information associated with the mobile device to a header of the advertising request message, and transmitting the advertising request message to the advertising exchange server. Other embodiments are disclosed.
Platform for providing customizable user brand experiences, sponsorship junctions, and conversion attribution
A computer-readable medium that, when executed on a server, establishes processes for providing a brand sponsorship environment, the processes including providing a computer-implemented platform establishing a sponsorship junction involving, in case 1, a set of trigger-monitorable activities defined by a set of sponsoring brands or, in case 2, a subset of the trigger-monitorable activities defined by the set of sponsoring brands.
Programmatic advertising server
Systems, methods, and computer program products are provided for auctioning advertising inventory for various applications, including for mobile applications. In various embodiments, a request for an advertisement is received at a first server from a client device. The request is sent, from the first server, to two or more remote servers. A bid value and an asset to be presented at the client device is received from each of the two or more remote servers. A highest bid is determined from the received bid values. Whether the asset associated with the highest bid is compliant based on the request is determined. When the asset is determined to be compliant, the asset is sent to the client device.
Client driven client steering
Aspects of the present disclosure are drawn to a client device for use with a first APD and a HNC. The first APD and HNC provide a wireless local area network for the client device and access to an external network to the client device. The client device includes a memory and a processor, which is configured to execute instructions stored on the memory. These instructions allow client device to: access the external network via the WLAN by way of the first access point device to perform a function; determine a steering opportunity for steering said client device based on the performance of the function; transmit a steering opportunity signal, based on the determined steering opportunity, to the home network controller; receive a steering request to steer said client device at a steering time based on the steering opportunity; and transmit a steering response honoring the received steering request.
