A system and method for matching transactions across heterogenous, multi-entity distributed computing platforms are disclosed. In more detail, a system and method for matching and settling offers in a computerized system involves receiving a plurality of created offers, receiving logic for honoring one or more of the plurality of created offers, creating a plurality of tokens and associating each of the plurality of offers with one or more of the created tokens, distributing one or more of the created offers through electronic messages to a plurality of potential customers, receiving an indication that a consumer has selected at least one of the plurality of offers, linking the consumer with a token associated with the selected at least one offer, upon a consumer transaction, deploying the logic for honoring offers to determine whether the selected offer will be honored; and receiving messages related to the propagation or efficacy of the offer.
Method of Selling Items through a Multi-sided Vending Machine and Related Device
A multi-sided vending machine uses multiple sides of the multi-sided vending machine for selling items. The multi-sided vending machine contains a product storage compartment storing items for sale, a plurality of displays, a plurality of money acceptors, and a plurality of dispensing slots for selling items on different sides of the multi-sided vending machine. A controller of the multi-sided vending machine operates a motor that turns a rotatable ramp toward any of the different sides of the multi-sided vending machine. When a selected item is purchased from a selected side of the multi-sided vending machine, the controller controls the product storage compartment to release the selected item, and controls the motor to turn the rotatable ramp toward the selected side for guiding the selected item to the dispensing slot on the selected side.
Determining location of POP displays with wireless beacons using time-based interactions with mobile devices
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed herein. A wireless beacon may be used to transmit a wireless signal from a POP display, where the wireless signal includes a first data packet with a unique identifier for the wireless beacon. The wireless signal from the wireless beacon may be received by a mobile device. The mobile device may provide a second data packet to a remote server. The second data packet may include the unique identifier, a time stamp, and a geographic location of the mobile device. The remote server may retrieve retail locations associated with the promotional campaign and a selected time period associated with the POP display from a database coupled to the remote server. The remote server may associate the POP display with the selected retail location.
System and method for execution of customer-specific marketing, discounts, and promotions
A system and method for execution of customer-specific marketing, discounts, and promotions which alerts the customer that the customer is to receive the promotion. In one form, the system includes a point-of-sale computer at a checkout counter for processing purchase of items, a customer interface device at the checkout counter which alerts a customer to the existence of a promotion and for transferring details of the promotion to the point-of-sale computer, wherein the details of the promotion appear as bar code data to the point-of-sale computer, and a local promotional server wirelessly connected to the customer interface device for sending the details of the promotion to the customer interface display.

A method and system for conducting an online payment transaction through a point of sale device. The method includes receiving input from a user selecting an item for purchase through the point of sale device; calculating a total purchase amount for the item in response to a request from the user to purchase the item; and sending payment authorization for the total purchase amount from the point of sale device to a payment entity, in which the payment authorization is sent to the payment entity via a mobile communication device of the user. The method further includes receiving a result of the payment authorization from the payment entity through the mobile communication device; and completing the payment transaction based on the result of the payment authorization.
