Management of fuel dispenser media
Management of fuel dispenser media is provided. In general, a fuel dispenser can be in communication with a media library configured to facilitate delivery of media to the fuel dispenser for output therefrom. The media library can be on board the fuel dispenser or can be included in a gateway configured to communicate with the fuel dispenser. The media library is configured to query one or more media sources for media information and to retrieve media information therefrom that is specific to the fuel dispenser. Additionally or alternatively, the media library is configured to query the one or more media sources for updates to the retrieved media information and, if updated, to retrieve the updated media content from the media source(s).
Systems and methods regarding point-of-recognition optimization of onsite user purchases at a physical location
Systems and methods are described for a point-of-recognition optimizer system configured to optimize onsite user purchases at a physical location. In various aspects, a purchasable-unit identifier (ID) may be received via a computer transmission, where the purchasable-unit ID, as identified by an optimizer device, is associated with a recognized purchasable-unit located onsite with the optimizer device. Based on the purchasable-unit ID, a plurality of competing purchasable-units may be identified, which may be either onsite or offsite purchasable-units. An offer is transmitted via a second computer transmission for an offered purchasable-unit to the optimizer device where the offer originates from an outbidding purchasable-unit distributor, and where the outbidding purchasable-unit distributor outbid other competing purchasable-unit distributors, each distributor corresponding to the plurality of competing purchasable-units, for an opportunity for the optimizer device to receive the offer.
Systems and Methods for Switching Modes of Providing Content on a Charging Station Display
A charging station for an electric vehicle determines that a first person is in proximity to the charging station and identifies whether the first person is a user of the charging station. In accordance with a determination that the first person is a user of the charging station, the charging station provides, using a first mode for selecting content for users of the charging station, first content for display. The charging station determines that a second person is in proximity to the charging station and identifies whether the second person is a user of the charging station. In accordance with the determination that the second person is not a user of the charging station, the charging station provides, using a second mode for selecting content distinct from the first mode for selecting content, second content for display. The second mode provides content for non-users of the charging station.
Intelligent marketing and advertising platform
An intelligent marketing and advertising platform which provides an innovative merchandising solution for retailers by effectively transforming the glass surface of retail product containers (such as cooler doors) into a non-transparent display of planograms. The merchandising solution provides for digital planograms and pricing management, real time promotional updates and sales data, etc. This is accomplished by converting/transforming the simple glass surface of a retail product container (such as cooler/freezer doors) into digital smart screens that provide for innovative advertising solutions.
OFFLINE SHOPPING GUIDE METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of the specification provide offline shopping guide methods and apparatuses. One method includes: obtaining a user identifier (ID) of a user and a scene ID of a shopping venue; obtaining historical offline shopping data and historical online shopping data of the user according to the user ID, and obtaining commodity information of the shopping venue according to the scene ID; obtaining a commodity to be recommended to the user according to the historical offline shopping data, the historical online shopping data, and the commodity information; and sending augmented reality (AR) display information of the recommended commodity to a smart terminal of the user, so that the smart terminal displays the recommended commodity to the user in an AR mode.
OUTDOOR PAYMENT TERMINALS
Various exemplary outdoor payment terminals and methods of using outdoor payment terminals are provided. In general, data signals can be transmitted between a payment terminal configured to receive payment information from a customer and a point of sale (POS) configured to authorize the customer's payment and provide various commands, e.g., instructions, to the payment terminal. A payment terminal can include a translator configured to translate commands transmitted from the POS to the payment terminal so the payment terminal carries out the type of command requested by the POS but executes in a way that accounts for payment terminal functionality unknown to the POS.
Mobile banking transactions at a non-browser based application
A method and system for conducting an online payment transaction through a point of sale device. The method includes receiving input from a user selecting an item for purchase through the point of sale device; calculating a total purchase amount for the item in response to a request from the user to purchase the item; and sending payment authorization for the total purchase amount from the point of sale device to a payment entity, in which the payment authorization is sent to the payment entity via a mobile communication device of the user. The method further includes receiving a result of the payment authorization from the payment entity through the mobile communication device; and completing the payment transaction based on the result of the payment authorization.
INTELLIGENT ADVERTISEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD BASED ON DUPLEX PRINTER
Provided are an intelligent advertisement system and method based on a duplex printer, the method including steps of: receiving, through an advertisement releasing terminal, advertisement content input by a user, generating advertisement information and then sending the advertisement information to a cloud advertisement server; receiving, through the cloud advertisement server, the advertisement information sent by the advertisement releasing terminal, and then pushing the advertisement information to each duplex printer; receiving, through each duplex printer, the advertisement information and printing the advertisement information on a back of cash register paper while printing cash register information; and playing, through each printer control terminal, a corresponding advertisement prompt message based on the advertisement information printed by the duplex printer.
Systems and methods for managing merchandising card reminders
The disclosed embodiments provide systems, methods, and techniques for managing merchandising cards. A merchandising card may be, for example, a gift card, loyalty card, or the like. Consistent disclosed embodiments, a system for managing merchandising cards may include one or more memory devices storing instructions and one or more processors configured to acquire, from a device over a network, a plurality of locations associated with the device, the device locations being acquired at different instances in time within a predetermined period of time. Additionally, the one or more processors may be configured to calculate an overall merchant confidence rating for a merchant using the device locations. Further, the one or more processors may be configured to, based on the overall merchant confidence rating, determine that the merchant matches a merchant that is associated with merchandising card, and send a reminder a user of the device.
PRESCIENT AND ADAPTIVE POINT-OF-SALE SYSTEMS
Systems, apparatus, methods, and non-transitory media for providing prescient and adaptive point-of-sale services via electronic networks are discussed herein. Some embodiments may include a system with one or more servers. The one or more servers may be configured to generate digital consumer tokens and provide the digital consumer tokens to consumer devices for sharing with merchant devices. When a merchant device receives the digital consumer token, the merchant device may forward the digital consumer token to the one or more servers in exchange for consumer data to facilitate consumer service. In some embodiments, the one or more servers may be configured to provide point-of-sale interfaces that adapt to different consumer preferences or consumer device signals. Some embodiments may provide for consumer interfaces that allow consumers to manage their electronic identity at various (e.g., merchant) locations.
