POINT-OF-SALE DATA PROCESSING APPARATUS THAT PROCESSES DATA USING MULTIPLE USER CODES
A point-of-sale data processing apparatus includes a user code reading unit configured to read at least one of first and second codes associated with a user, a product code reading unit configured to read product codes, a communication unit, and a control unit. The control unit is configured to determine the first code if the second code is read using the user code reading unit and the second code if the first code is read using the user code reading unit, compile first and second data using the product codes read using the product code reading unit, and control the communication unit to transmit the first data and the first code to a first server that stores the first data in association with the first code, and the second data and the second code to a second server that stores the second data in association with the second code.
Payment data systems and methods
An electronic offer system including a payment instrument reader for reading payment instrument data from a payment instrument and an offer-payment instrument account association (O-PIAA) server communicating with the payment instrument reader and automatically operative in response to reading of the payment instrument data by the payment instrument reader to associate at least one offer in an offer program with a payment instrument account indicated by the payment instrument data.
BIG DATA ADVERTISEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ADVERTISING BY MEANS OF BACK OF CASH REGISTER PAPER
Disclosed is a big data advertisement system and method for advertising through a back of cash register paper. The system comprises a cloud advertisement server, at least one advertisement releasing terminal, and a plurality of double-sided printers, wherein the cloud advertisement server is configured for receiving advertisement information sent by the advertisement releasing terminal, generating corresponding advertisement pushing information, and then sending the corresponding advertisement pushing information to the double-sided printers, and also configured for outputting an intelligent maintenance advice or advertisement statistical information, the double-sided printers are configured for receiving the advertisement pushing information and printing the corresponding advertisement information on the back of the cash register paper when printing cashier information, and sending real-time working parameters and real-time printing data to the cloud advertisement server.
Parking locator system providing variably priced parking fees
A parking locator system providing variably priced parking includes one or more parking sensors and one or more parking kiosks. The parking sensors may generate parking information identifying one or more occupied parking spaces and one or more unoccupied parking spaces within a vicinity. Promotion information including one or more discounts to parking fees may be received at the parking kiosks. The parking kiosks may display the discounted parking fees and receive payment of the same. The discounts to parking fees may expire at particular times. The size of the discounts may be set based on traffic congestion, which may be determined based on the number of occupied parking spaces within the vicinity.
Image capture and identification system and process
An image-based transaction system includes a mobile device with an image sensor that is programmed to capture, via the image sensor, a video stream of a scene. The mobile device identifies a document using image characteristics from the video stream and acquires an image of at least a part of the document, and then identifies symbols in the image based on locations within the image of the document. The symbols can include alphanumeric symbols. The mobile device processes the symbols according to their type to obtain an address related to the document and the symbols and initiates a transaction associated with the identified document.
Content distribution system
A networked computer system distributes content that is to be added to receipts by receipt issuing devices. The system includes a central server, first and second store servers communicating with the central server over a first network, first receipt issuing devices communicating with the first store server over a first local network, and second receipt issuing devices communicating with the second store server over a second local network. A first control plane is implemented in the central server to control whether or not the content is to be distributed to the first store server and whether or not the content is to be distributed to the second store server. A second control plane is implemented in the first and second store servers to control whether or not the content is to be distributed to the first and second receipt issuing devices, respectively.
A SYSTEM FOR IN-STORE CONSUMER BEHAVIOUR EVENT METADATA AGGREGATION, DATA VERIFICATION AND THE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE ANALYSIS THEREOF FOR DATA INTERPRETATION AND ASSOCIATED ACTION TRIGGERING
There is provided a system for in-store consumer behaviour event metadata aggregation, data verification and the artificial intelligence analysis thereof for data interpretation and associated action triggering. The system may collect in-store consumer behaviour event metadata from a plurality of consumer electronic devices and then uses a trained artificial intelligence analytics engine to provide various artificial intelligence insights useful to such consumers which may further modify consumer behaviour. The trained artificial intelligence analytics engine may have a data interpretation controller configured for intelligently interpreting such aggregated in-store consumer behaviour event metadata and triggering actions accordingly which are then sent electronically to the consumer electronic devices. The data interpretation controller may have a data verification controller configured to optimise the data integrity of a consumer product metadata database representing a plurality of consumer products according to availability and other metadata.
Image capture and identification system and process
A digital image depicting a digital representation of a scene is captured by an image sensor of a vehicle. An identification system recognizes a real-world object from the digital image as a target object based on derived image characteristics and identifies object information about the target object based on the recognition. The identification provides the object information to the vehicle data system of the vehicle so that the vehicle data system can execute a control function of the vehicle based on the received object information.
Systems and methods for providing offers using a mobile device
A wireless device is enabled to provide offers. The wireless device receives card data for a financial account card and stores the card data in a memory associated with the wireless device. Responsive to using the card data in a transaction at a first merchant location, the wireless device receives transaction line-item data from a computing system associated with the first merchant location. The wireless device determines merchant information for a second merchant location and determines an offer associated with the second merchant location based on the line-item data and the merchant information for the second merchant. The wireless device presents the offer when the wireless device is near the second merchant location.
OFFLINE SHOPPING GUIDE METHOD AND APPARATUS
Embodiments of the specification provide offline shopping guide methods and apparatuses. One method includes: obtaining a user identifier (ID) of a user and a scene ID of a shopping venue; obtaining historical offline shopping data and historical online shopping data of the user according to the user ID, and obtaining commodity information of the shopping venue according to the scene ID; obtaining a commodity to be recommended to the user according to the historical offline shopping data, the historical online shopping data, and the commodity information; and sending augmented reality (AR) display information of the recommended commodity to a smart terminal of the user, so that the smart terminal displays the recommended commodity to the user in an AR mode.
