A method and system for receiving digital artifacts from a management server. The method includes sending a request for a digital artifact from a mobile application to the management server for display within a specific mobile application generated screen, receiving the digital artifact from the management server, and displaying the digital artifact with the specific mobile application generated screen.

A product offered by the advertisement is displayed to the consumer in a multi-retailer cart which allows the consumer to select the product from among a plurality of retailers identified in the multi-retailer cart that offer the same or similar products and the mobile. The plurality of retailers to be displayed in the multi-retailer cart is determined by application of any of several factors that include the current location of the consumer, where those retailers that are most proximate to the consumer are displayed; incentives that are uniquely available based on consumer location; profile information associated with the consumer, such as retail preferences, affinity memberships; retailer factors, such as the availability of discounts, coupons, availability of the product in inventory, etc. The retailers may be ranked in the cart based on any one or more of these factors, and/or based upon payment of a promotion fee.

A geographical position of a mobile device is monitored and when the position is within a configured proximity to an establishment, customized analytics are gathered relevant to the establishment. The analytics dynamically pushed to presentations on the display of the mobile device and to interfaces of the mobile device for viewing and interacting by a user of the mobile device, as the user is at or approaches the establishment.

The present invention provides a system, method and computer program for integrating point of sale systems by providing a common data model. A system of the invention may include one or more point of sale agents linkable to one or more diverse point of sale systems. The system may also include an order manager linked to the point of sale agents. The one or more point of sale agents are operable to communicate point of sale data between the one or more diverse point of sale systems and the order manager by mapping the point of sale data to a common data model. The present invention also provides a system, method and computer program for enabling dissemination of promotions to consumers based on point of sale data.

A product management and sales system for managing product preparation and sales. The system includes a kitchen display and input device displaying a plurality of perishable food items to be produced and receiving a production indication signal indicating production of at least one of the plurality of perishable food items. The system further includes a digital menu board displaying the plurality of perishable food items available for sale, a sales counter terminal for completing a sale of at least one of the plurality of perishable food items and outputting a sold indication signal; and a controller receiving the sold indication signal. The controller compares the sold indication signal to a predetermined inventory level for the at least one perishable food item and outputs an item-to-be-produced signal to the kitchen display and input.

Disclosed is a method for selecting a cosmetic product, and a method for image acquisition and image processing for the selection method, including: acquiring an image of a person in a controlled lighting environment, and measuring and recording the colorimetric coordinates of the person's face; processing the image to determine an absolute value of the skin tone; correlating the absolute value with a usage color map established for each of multiple cosmetic products of a database by measuring the color of each cosmetic product under its conditions of use, and to determine a personalized color matrix; extracting, from the database, the cosmetic product(s) whose color measurement is part of the personalized color matrix; using an information medium, presenting the product(s) included in the personalized color matrix; and optionally selecting the preferred product(s) chosen by the person from those that are part of the personalized color matrix.

In one embodiment, an apparatus comprises a display interface to communicate with a display device and a processor. The processor is to: identify a mobile transaction associated with a user, wherein the mobile transaction comprises a potential transaction to be completed using a mobile device of the user; access transaction data associated with the mobile transaction; encrypt the transaction data based on an encryption key associated with the user; generate a visual code associated with the encrypted transaction data, wherein the visual code comprises visually encoded data, and wherein the visual code is generated within a protected execution environment of the processor; establish a protected datapath between the processor and the display device via the display interface; and transmit the visual code to the display device via the protected datapath, wherein the visual code is to be displayed on the display device.

A contextual services delivery system may comprise a services repository containing services instructions and a contextual services delivery module. A secure point-of-sale (POS) portal architecture for delivering multiple services is provided. According to one exemplary aspect of the architecture, a number of services offered by various parties are integrated for delivery to merchants. The parties offering the services include, for example, payment processors and merchant acquirers and other external value-added service providers.
