Systems and methods regarding point-of-recognition optimization of onsite user purchases at a physical location
Systems and methods are described for a point-of-recognition optimizer system configured to optimize onsite user purchases at a physical location. In various aspects, a purchasable-unit identifier (ID) may be received via a computer transmission, where the purchasable-unit ID, as identified by an optimizer device, is associated with a recognized purchasable-unit located onsite with the optimizer device. Based on the purchasable-unit ID, a plurality of competing purchasable-units may be identified, where the plurality of competing purchasable-units includes the recognized purchasable-unit and one or more additional purchasable-units, which may be either onsite or offsite purchasable-units. An offer is transmitted via a second computer transmission for an offered purchasable-unit to the optimizer device where the offer originates from an outbidding purchasable-unit distributor, and where the outbidding purchasable-unit distributor outbid other competing purchasable-unit distributors, each distributor corresponding to the plurality of competing purchasable-units, for an opportunity for the optimizer device to receive the offer.
REMOTELY CONTROLLABLE ARTICLE DISPENSING SYSTEMS, DEVICES, AND METHODS
A system including a network of article or service dispensing devices connected for two way communication with a central hub in which article or service selection requests are received from user's smart devices or from input units at the dispensing devices, dispensing devices suitable for use in the system, and a method of controlling transactions using the system. Capabilities include transmission of inventory and operational status information from the dispensing devices, verification that legal and commercial requirements for the desired transaction are met, providing information to tax authorities, and providing information to owners of or those maintaining the system on which to base stocking decisions, and to owners of brands available in dispensing devices from which targeted promotional materials can be selected, and delivered to a user while a transaction is in progress.
FUEL DISPENSING ENVIRONMENT WITH A DISTRIBUTED PROMOTION SYSTEM
A promotion server is provided including a promotion processing circuitry configured to receive transaction data from a point-of-sale device (POS) for a fueling environment. The POS is configured to facilitate a sale of goods or services and includes POS processing circuitry configured to receive the transaction data indicative of a good or service. The promotion processing circuitry is further configured to determine promotional data associated with one or more promotions based on the transaction data and cause display data associated with the one or more promotions to be transmitted to a display to be displayed to a customer. Only the promotion server performs the determination of promotional data.
ASSESSING AND REPORTING IN-STORE RECYCLING OF WIRELESS BEACON COMPONENTS USED WITH RETAIL DISPLAYS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. The wireless signals may be received by mobile devices. A remote server may communicate with the mobile device and provide the mobile device with up-to-date content associated with the POP displays. A geographic location of the mobile device may be assessed and used to determine if the mobile device is at an acceptable location for displaying the up-to-date content. The wireless beacons may be enclosed in an enclosure that is attached to the POP displays. Sensors may determine when the enclosures are attached/removed from the POP displays.
IMAGE PROCESSING FOR RETAIL DISPLAYS WITH WIRELESS BEACONS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. The wireless signals may be received by mobile devices. A remote server may communicate with the mobile device and provide the mobile device with up-to-date content associated with the POP displays. Additionally, one or more cameras associated with the POP displays may be used to assess information about the POP displays and/or the environment surrounding the POP displays.
GEOFENCING WITH WIRELESS BEACON BASED CONSUMER PRODUCT MARKETING
ASSESSING STATE INFORMATION FOR RETAIL DISPLAYS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. The wireless signals may be received by mobile devices. A remote server may communicate with the mobile device and provide the mobile device with up-to-date content associated with the POP displays. Data packets broadcast by the wireless beacons may also include assessed state information for the POP displays.
ANALYZING MOVEMENT OF WIRELESS BEACONS ASSOCIATED WITH RETAIL DISPLAYS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. The wireless signals may be received by mobile devices. A remote server may communicate with the mobile device and provide the mobile device with up-to-date content associated with the POP displays. An accelerometer may be attached to a POP display and used to assess movement of the POP display. Movement data for the POP display may be added to data packets broadcast by the wireless beacon.
LOCAL DATA ACQUISITION FOR RETAIL DISPLAYS WITH WIRELESS BEACONS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons. The wireless signals may be received by mobile devices. A remote server may communicate with the mobile device and provide the mobile device with up-to-date content associated with the POP displays. A wireless data collection device may be used to receive and collect data from the wireless beacons. The collected data may be used to assess one or more properties of the POP displays.
ANALYZING MOVEMENT OF DATA COLLECTORS/GATEWAYS ASSOCIATED WITH RETAIL DISPLAYS
Systems and methods for using wireless beacons in point of purchase (POP) displays to facilitate the delivery of consumer oriented content to mobile devices is disclosed. Wireless beacons may be used to broadcast wireless signals from POP displays, where the wireless signals include data packets with unique identifiers for the wireless beacons.
