A system and method for advertisement campaign tracking and management using a multi-platform adaptive ad campaign manager, a plurality of network connections including a PSTN, the Internet, and a TV network, a cellphone, and dynamic advertisements which a user may tap on, scan, or call with their cellular phone in order to receive an automated SMS response which may contain a link or button to click which may take them to a webpage to complete a transaction in accordance with the advertisement, shortening and automating the conduit from advertisement to user signup or purchase, especially in the case of TV advertisements.

A data matching unit matches user data and/or user device data from all available sources, including but not limited to operator or provider databases, using the received source IP address and the received user device port. The systems and methods provide delivery of informational messages based on collected/matched user data and/or user device data provided to the maximum number of real identified users.

Training content selection models with reduced bias
An online system trains a content selection model based on a selected subset of presented content items as well as a sampled set of content items. The content selection model is configured to receive a set of features characterizing a user-content item pair and output a likelihood that the user will interact with the content item. The sampled set of content items may include content items that were not selected for display based on their likelihoods in addition to those that were selected, and may represent a wider distribution of user-content item pairs than the selected subset. By incorporating the sampled set of content items as well as the selected subset of content items in the training process, the online system can reduce bias in the content selection process such that content items similar to the unselected subset can also be adequately represented.
Customized E-Commerce Tags in Realtime Multimedia Content
Techniques described herein are directed to e-commerce tags in multimedia content. In an example, multimedia content is received and item-recognition techniques are performed to identify one or more items referenced in the content. An interactive element is generated that indicates information about a given referenced item, and that interactive element is displayed while the multimedia content is output. Selection of the interactive element may cause a purchasing user interface to be displayed with item and/or or payment information prepopulated based at least in part on identified attributes of the item and/or user preferences determined from historical purchase data associated with the user.

Methods and systems are described for providing communications to devices with a customized adaptive user experience. In one embodiment, a system includes a storage medium to store one or more software programs and a format and targeting builder unit to create and edit customizable ad formats and create target user segments. The system includes processing logic that is configured to execute instructions of at least one software program of the format and targeting builder module to receive biometric data from devices of users and provide the options of custom scripting for creating and editing ad formats and targeting user segments with different categories.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONSTRUCTING AND APPLYING SYNAPTIC NETWORKS
In selected embodiments a recommendation generator builds a network of interrelationships between venues, reviewers and users based on attributes and reviewer and user reviews of the venues. Each interrelationship or link may be positive or negative and may accumulate with other links (or anti-links) to provide nodal links the strength of which are based on commonality of attributes among the linked nodes and/or common preferences that one node, such as a reviewer, expresses for other nodes, such as venues. The links may be first order (based on a direct relationship between, for instance, a reviewer and a venue) or higher order (based on, for instance, the fact that two venue are both liked by a given reviewer). The recommendation engine in certain embodiments determines recommended venues based on user attributes and venue preferences by aggregating the link matrices and determining the venues which are most strongly coupled to the user.

INSERTION OF TARGETED CONTENT IN REAL-TIME STREAMING MEDIA
A method for targeted content insertion in real-time streaming. The method leverages the different ordered signals available on a multi-step process that clients follow when subscribing to a real-time media (video and/or audio) stream including selecting a region, connecting to a control channel, and subscribing to a stream to guide a multi-stage process of content selection, transcoding, and insertion in a real-time media stream. A system is also specified for implementing the described method on a real-time streaming architecture.
