A server receives a data structure including device configuration information that indicates the computing device comprises an application programming interface to allow a data function to access a call function of the computing device. The server identifies a first content item having a call-on-select function and a second content item without a call-on-select function. The server determines, based on the device configuration information, a first call score for the first content item having the call-on-select function and a second call score for the second content item without the call-on-select function. The server selects the second content item for transmission to the computing device to cause the computing device to display the second content item without the call-on-select function on the computing device comprising the application programming interface.

A search query including consumer interest data of a consumer, or results of such a search query, are received. The enabling organization information, benefit information, and search query or information related to the search query results are analyzed automatically in the computer system to determine whether any enabling organization to which the consumer is affiliated is offering a benefit for the consumer that is applicable to the consumer interest data. Also determined is whether a coupon is applicable to the consumer interest data and if the coupon can be aggregated with the benefit.

In some implementations, a server receives a request from a first client device associated with a first user to enter a lost and found function in a social networking application. The server obtains items that describe a prior encounter between the first user and a different user. The server identifies potential candidates from among potential candidates in the lost and found function that match to the different user. The server provides data indicative of the potential candidates to the first client device. The server receives a connection request to one potential candidate from the first client device. The server transmits a first notification to a second client device associated with the one potential candidate. The server receives a request from the first client device to match with the second client device.

Proxy-based profile management to deliver personalized services

A third-party profile service based on a proxy server model is described, where a user's profile service resides at a URL, in contrast to a profile service that requires federation identity. A profile service is provided that augments location-based services offered by service providers targeting mobile users via, for example, wireless and Wifi Networks. Additional personalization is driven by identity/profile services. Participants in the scenario are not required to share an identity or profile (i.e., static federation is not required). The user establishes a single profile with a trusted provider, hands-off solicitations to a profile agent that operates on behalf of the user to apply policies and preferences. The agent also provides privacy and anonymity (opaqueness).

Dynamic generation of advertisement text

Systems, methods, and computer-readable media for dynamically generating text associated with an advertisement are provided. Core text associated with an advertisement is received from an advertiser, as is at least one attribute relevant to the advertiser and/or a user. Based upon the received attribute(s), it is determined whether customization of the core text is desired. If customization is desired, the core text is modified and presented in association with the advertisement. If customization is not desired, the core text is presented in association with the advertisement. In one embodiment, target advertisement placement information may also be utilized to determine whether customization of the core text is desired.

This application relates to apparatus and methods for automatically determining and providing digital customer insights based on historical customer data. In some examples, a computing device obtains user data for a user. In response, the computing device receives a plurality of product types relevant to the user and their corresponding relevance scores. For each product type, the computing device then receives a set of attributes, where each attribute is associated with an affinity score for the user. The computing device determines, for each product type, an overall score for each attribute and product type pair based on the relevance score for the product type and the affinity score for the corresponding attribute. At least one attribute and product type pair is presented to the user based on the corresponding overall score.
