A data exchange facilitator utilizes a designated webserver to assist in the electronic exchange of consumer data between a plurality of consumers and a plurality of data purchasers. Each consumer continuously uploads data, such as personal information and purchasing preferences, onto a designated consumer profile page hosted by the webserver. Certain content provided by each consumer is restricted for access by data purchasers based on temporal and financial terms, which are initially stipulated by the consumer but remain negotiable between parties. Once the terms for such content are mutually agreed upon by both parties, the webserver provides access to the content and initiates the required payment transaction through a designated financial processing service. To authenticate the veracity of consumer data prior to purchase, the data exchange facilitator engages in a verification process and marks properly authenticated consumer profiles with an appropriate identifier.

The consumption data describes characteristics of consumption of the document by respective client devices. A readership index is calculated that describes an amount of overall consumption of the document by the plurality of client devices. Responsive to a determination by the computing device that the readership index has exceeded a threshold, the value add service that relates to the document is exposed for interaction by at least one of the plurality of client devices.

According to the present application, item information having a high click through rate may be acquired through a one-channel recall approach, so that information push efficiency is improved and the pushed item information better conforms to user needs.
Prioritising advertisements for a location
A mechanism is provided for prioritizing advertisements for a location. The mechanism identifies one or more person at the location and identifies a set of advertisements associated with a set of products for the location. The mechanism determines a score for the one or more persons indicating their likelihood to promote or detract from each of the set of products. The mechanism prioritizes the advertisements in the set according to the aggregate scores of the one or more persons for the products of the advertisements. The mechanism identifies a target person at the location to which the advertisement is to be directed and wherein determining a score of the one or more persons excludes or weights the target person.
