Anti-Tamper Band and Method of Use
An anti-tamper band. The anti-tamper band includes a flexible member having a central portion with a pair of elongated arms extending therefrom. An adhesive is disposed across a lower surface of the flexible member, such that the flexible member is securable to a container. A line of perforation extends across a width of each of the pair of elongated arms, such that a user can inspect the line of perforation for signs of tampering and easily tear across the line of perforation to open the container.
Tamper evident tag and method
A tamper evident tag and a method of preventing the fraudulent return of an article back to a seller are provided. The tag includes inner and outer layers. A first end of a tag fastener is inserted through the article and through an aperture formed in the inner and outer layers of the tag. A unique code is printed on the tag. A portion of the inner layer of the tag is removed to expose an adhesive. The exposed adhesive is bought into contact with the inner layer of the tag to capture the first end of the tag fastener between the outer layer and the tuner layer. The unique code is associated with the article for future reference.
SEAL
A description is given of a seal (01) comprising a seal body (02) and a seal strip (03). At least the seal body (02) consists of a biodegradable material. The seal body (02) can be releasably connected at least to two spaced-apart portions (31, 32) of the seal strip (03) and in an operating state can be unreleasably sealed. The seal body (02) consists of two parts (21, 22), which in an operating state can be unreleasably sealably connected at least to one another. One portion (32) is arranged between the two parts (21, 22) of the seal body (02), while the other portion (31) penetrates a first part (21) of the two parts (21, 22) and can be securely connected thereto.
Multi adhesive linerless label media
A linerless label media includes a substrate having a first side, a second side and a longitudinal axis. The first side of the substrate has a release coat. The second side of the substrate has at least one area of a first adhesive having a first thickness, and at least one different area of a second adhesive having a greater thickness than the first thickness of the area of the first adhesive. The greater thickness of the second adhesive reduces a contact between the first adhesive and the release coat when the linerless label media includes a linerless label roll configured for use in a printer. A linerless label roll is also described.
Chain of custody forms and methods
A chain-of-custody form has integrated removable specimen seals, and the form may be used to identify a test sample collected from a donor and to document the handling of the test sample. The form may be printed upon a single sheet that has a first portion and a second portion. The first portion includes a first section having one or more spaces for recording demographic and testing information, and one or more indicia of the information to be recorded in one or more marked spaces; and a second section having a marked space for the donor to affix a signature and one or more indicia of the purpose of the space. An identifier that is unique to the form is recorded within the first portion and within the second portion. The identifier includes an specimen identification number or some other method of specimen identification such as a bar-code.
CHAIN OF CUSTODY FORMS AND METHODS
A chain-of-custody form having integrated removable specimen seals and methods for using the form to identify a test sample collected from a donor and document the handling of the test sample. The form comprises a blank having a first portion and a second portion. The first portion comprises a first section having one or more spaces for recording demographic and testing information, and one or more indicia of the information to be recorded in one or more marked spaces; and a second section having a marked space for the donor to affix a signature and one or more indicia of the purpose of the space. An identifier that is unique to the form is recorded within the first portion and within the second portion. The identifier includes an specimen identification number or some other method of specimen identification such as a bar-code.
Tamper-evincing seal assembly, system, and method
A tamper-evincing seal assembly is configured to be secured to a component to indicate tampering of the component. The tamper-evincing seal assembly includes a curling member that is configured to lie flat in a tamper-free state, and outwardly curl in a tampered state.
Label for a container which is in a number of parts or can be divided into a number of parts
A label for a medication container that is in multiple parts or can be divided into multiple parts has a first label section, to be attached to a first container part, and a second label section, to be attached to a second container part. The first label part serves for being wrapped completely around the first container part, more than once, and is disposed within a first basic surface area region of the basic surface area of the label, intended to be wrapped around the first container part. The second label section includes a spare label having a first sub-section and a second sub-section. The first sub-section is disposed in the first basic surface area region, and the second sub-section is disposed in a second basic surface area region, which is intended for being attached to a second container part. The label is configured in such a manner that when the first and the second label section are pulled apart to open a container around which the label is adhesively applied, the first and the second label section tear apart from one another, and the first sub-section of the spare label forms a grip tab for pulling the spare label off a remainder of the second label section and/or off the second container part.
MULTI-FUNCTIONAL, INTELLIGENT AND ECO-FRIENDLY TAPE
A multi-functional, intelligent and eco-friendly tape comprising a base layer, a tag having a RFID function, a two-dimensional code printing layer and a barcode printing layer; the tag having a RFID function is composited with the base layer, and the two-dimensional code printing layer and the barcode printing layer are printed on the front surface of the base layer; through the tag having a RFID function, the two-dimensional code printing layer and the barcode printing layer, the anti-counterfeiting information of the present invention can be read by RFID readers, two-dimensional code readers or barcode readers, resulting in an intelligent anti-counterfeiting function, which is convenient, cost-effective and multi-functional.
