Guidance audio cues for navigation assistance
In device-assisted navigation, audio navigation cues are often presented at particular locations along a route (e.g., “in 200 meters, turn left” and “turn left here”). However, if the user stops, navigation cues also stop since the user's position is not changing. Additionally, the navigation instruction at the next navigation point may be conflated with the actual position of the next navigation point; e.g., an instruction to “turn left” may be confusing if the road takes a sharp right turn immediately before the next navigation point. Instead, the device may periodically compare the current position of the user and the next navigation point, and periodically present guidance audio cues that indicate the distance and heading offset to the next navigation point. Guidance audio cues may be integrated with and/or supplemented by audio navigation instructions to indicate both the location of the next navigation point and instructions to be followed there.
Vehicular notification apparatus
A vehicular notification apparatus detects an emotion of a driver based on a line-of-sight detection result and a brain activity detection result, and performs control to suppress notification in response to that the detected emotion of the driver is uncomfortable.
VEHICLE DRIVING GUIDANCE SYSTEM AND OPERATION METHOD THEREOF
A vehicle driving guidance system and an operation method thereof includes a data provider configured to store map data therein or to receive map data from outside, a user interface configured to receive information on a destination from a user or to guide the user to a path, and a path generator configured to generate a driving path of the vehicle to the received destination in consideration of an autonomous driving level of the vehicle and autonomous driving permission information for each driving road included in the map data.
METHODS AND SYSTEMS FOR PROVIDING NAVIGATION ASSISTANCE
The disclosure provides a method, a system, and a computer program product for providing navigational assistance. The method comprises receiving speech input data from at least one user. The method may include determining, using a machine learning model, context data associated with the speech input data from the at least one user. The method further includes, determining, based on the context data, an output data for the at least one user, wherein the output data comprises behavioural data associated with the context data. The method also includes, determining, based on speech input data and the context data, a time period to transmit the output data and providing the navigational assistance to the at least one user, based on the determined output data and the determined time period.
Computer-implemented method, wearable device, computer program and computer readable medium for assisting the movement of a visually impaired user
In a first aspect of the invention, it is claimed a computer-implemented method for assisting the movement of a visually impaired user by means of a wearable device 1, comprising the following steps: S1—Acquiring data from the environment of the visually impaired user S2—Fusing the acquired data, creating, repeatedly updating of a Live Map S3—Determining, repeatedly updating and storing, of at least one navigation path together with associated navigation guiding instructions for the visually impaired user to navigate from the current position of the visually impaired user to a point of interest, repeatedly selecting one preferred navigation path from the at least one navigation path, and repeatedly sending to the visually impaired user the preferred navigation path, together with associated navigation guiding instructions.
Method, apparatus and computer readable recording medium for providing user-customized geographic information and analysis information using universal map
Disclosed is a method for providing geographic information and analysis information for each user using a universal map, which includes: a map information receiving step of requesting authentication to a universal map server storing map information including one of a map image and guide information by transmitting user authentication information except socially disadvantaged type information, to receive map information from the universal map server; a guide information extraction step of extracting guide information, as guide information for providing the geographic information on the map image to the user terminal from the received map information, corresponding to the socially disadvantaged type information of the user among the user account information from a data model database; and a geographic information providing step of providing geographic information customized according to the user, by outputting geographic information reflecting attribute information of spatial objects to the user terminal based on the extracted guide information.

AUTOMOTIVE INFOTAINMENT SYSTEM WITH SPATIALLY-COGNIZANT APPLICATIONS THAT INTERACT WITH A SPEECH INTERFACE
An automotive processing unit includes an infotainment system having a speech interface, an application suite comprising one or more spatially-cognizant applications, and an automotive assistant that is configured to execute one or more of the spatially-cognizant applications. The speech interface is configured to receive a navigation announcement from a navigator and a touring announcement from one of the spatially-cognizant applications and, in response, to cause a spoken announcement to be made audible in a vehicle's cabin through a loudspeaker. The spoken announcement comprising content from at least one of the touring announcement and the navigation announcement.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR CONTROLLING AN OPERATION OF AN ATTRACTION SYSTEM
An attraction system has a plurality of show effects, a handheld or wearable device, and a control system. The control system is configured to perform operations that include monitoring a parameter of the handheld or wearable device, determining that the parameter is indicative of an undesirable utilization of the attraction system, and controlling the handheld or wearable device, at least one show effect of the plurality of show effects, or both. The control system is also configured to provide guidance to change the parameter in response to the determination that the parameter is indicative of the undesirable utilization of the attraction system.
Vehicular driver monitoring system
A vehicular driver monitoring system includes an interior rearview mirror assembly disposed in a vehicle and including a mirror reflective element. A camera is disposed at the interior rearview mirror assembly and views a driver sitting at a driver seat of the equipped vehicle. The camera is operable to capture image data. A control includes a vision system-on-a-chip image processor that processes image data captured by the camera. The control, via processing at the vision system-on-a-chip image processor of image data captured by the camera, determines driver movement. The vehicular driver monitoring system generates an output responsive at least in part to the determined driver movement.
