Systems and methods for vehicle navigation
Systems and methods are provided for vehicle navigation. In one implementation, at least one processor may be programmed to receive, from a camera, a captured image representative of features in an environment of the vehicle. The processor may generate a warped image based on the received captured image, which may simulate a view of the features in the environment of the vehicle from a simulated viewpoint elevated relative to an actual position of the camera. The processor may further identify a road feature represented in the warped image, which may be transformed in one or more respects relative to a representation of the road feature in the captured image. The processor may then determine a navigational action for the vehicle based on the identified feature represented in the warped image and cause at least one actuator system of the vehicle to implement the determined navigational action.
Vehicle display device
A vehicle display device includes a display control unit that is configured to: display markers in positions, on a display unit, corresponding to future positions of a host vehicle which are acquired from an autonomous driving control unit that autonomously drives the host vehicle, and move display positions of the markers on the display unit in accordance with travel of the host vehicle and toward a reference position on the display unit corresponding to the host vehicle.
Method and apparatus for controlling an autonomous vehicle
A method for operating an automated vehicle includes controlling by one or more computing devices an autonomous vehicle; receiving by one or more computing devices sensor data from the vehicle corresponding to moving objects in a vicinity of the vehicle; receiving by one or more computing devices road condition data; and determining by one or more computing devices undesirable locations related to the moving objects. The undesirable locations related to the moving objects for the vehicle are based at least in part on the road condition data. The step of controlling the vehicle includes avoiding the undesirable locations.
Navigation apparatus and operation method of navigation apparatus
An operation method of a navigation apparatus includes: obtaining valid global positioning system (GPS) data at a current time point corresponding to a current position of a target device; determining first neighboring map elements corresponding to a first region indicated by the valid GPS data at the current time point from among a plurality of map elements of map data; and determining a pose parameter of the target device at the current time point based on a first direction specified by at least a portion of the first neighboring map elements.
NAVIGATION METHOD AND APPARATUS
A navigation method and apparatus providing a navigation path for a target vehicle are disclosed. The method includes: receiving first location information of the target vehicle sent by a high-definition map module, where the first location information includes lane information of a first location at which the target vehicle is currently located; and determining a navigation path based on the first location information and a destination of the target vehicle. The lane information of the current location of the target vehicle can be provided for a navigation map module by using the high-definition map module, so as to more accurately determine a navigation path suitable for a lane in which the target vehicle is currently located, thereby improving accuracy of navigation planning.
METHOD FOR ASSIGNING THE LANE IN WHICH A VEHICLE IS CURRENTLY DRIVEN
Technologies and techniques for assigning the lane in which a vehicle is currently driven, wherein input variables of at least one data source are detected to determine the lane currently being driven in, and wherein at least one data source includes signals from an environmental sensor system of the vehicle. In cases in which the possibility of unequivocal assignment of the lane in which a vehicle is currently driven is improved, it is provided that at least one data source includes a C2X communication.
SHIELDING DETECTION DEVICE AND COMPUTER READABLE MEDIUM
A shielding detection unit (111) detects one or more shielded sections in which a road surface of a target road, on which a measuring vehicle has traveled, has not been measured, based on three-dimensional point group data indicating a three-dimensional coordinate value of each measurement spot that has been measured by a laser scanner mounted on the measuring vehicle. A result display unit (112) generates a target road map and displays the target road map, the target road map indicating the target road and indicating the one or more shielded sections in a manner to distinguish the one or more shielded sections from each unshielded section in which the road surface of the target road has been measured.
Method and apparatus for determining object position
An object positioning method and apparatus is disclosed. The object positioning apparatus may obtain a reference position of an object, obtain a map-based heading angle of the object based on waypoints on a map, and determine a current position of the object based on the reference position and the map-based heading angle.
Spatiotemporal lane maneuver delay for road navigation
System and methods are provided for calculating a lane maneuver delay for different lane maneuvers and different road segments at different times of the day to generate a predicted lane maneuver delay for use in routing and navigation services. A lane-level map-matcher identifies the lane a vehicle is driving on using positional sensors. Sensor data is obtained from vehicle sensors using the left-turn and right-turn signal lights sensor. A lane maneuver delay value is calculated from the time period a left-turn or right-turn signaling light was kept on before a vehicle completed a lane maneuver. The lane maneuver delay values are aggregated to generate a predicted lane maneuver delay that may be used in lane level routing instructions.
Apparatus and method for assisting turn of vehicle at intersection
In an apparatus for assisting a turn of a vehicle at an intersection, a turn-signal state detection unit is configured to detect an operating state of a turn signal of the vehicle. A road information detection unit is configured to detect road information that is information regarding a road on which the vehicle is traveling. A determination unit is configured to, using at least one of the detected operating state of the turn signal and the detected road information, determine whether or not the vehicle will make a turn at the intersection.
