The method for displaying an AR navigation screen according to the present specification may comprise the steps of: overlapping and displaying images of the surroundings of a vehicle and a plurality of AR images corresponding to the images of the surroundings; generating a window for separately displaying a first area including AR images overlapping at least one of the plurality of AR images; and overlapping and displaying the window and the images of the surroundings. The invention of the present specification has the effect of improving user convenience and promoting safe vehicle operation by using a window when AR images and the like are difficult to recognize due to being overlapped.

Systems and methods are disclosed for generating a display of a navigation map. The system may comprise a historical data source device having, for example, a historical data source computer and a database storing historical data associated with one or more of vehicle accident data, traffic data, vehicle volume data, vehicle density data, road characteristic data, or weather data. The system may comprise a map data processing device having a map data processing computer and memory storing computer-executable instructions that, when executed by the map data processing computer, cause the map data processing device to, for example, determine, based on a location determining device, a location of a vehicle. The map data processing system may determine one or more historical factors based on the location of the vehicle. The map data processing system may receive, from the historical data source device and for the location, historical data associated with the one or more historical factors. Based on the location of the vehicle, one or more real time factors and real time data associated with the one or more real time factors may be calculated. The map data processing system may calculate, using the one or more historical factors and the one or more real time factors, a navigation score for each segment of a route from the location to a destination location. The map data processing system may determine one or more colors for each navigation score and/or generate a display of a navigation map comprising the one or more colors.

A geospatial animation app receives the plurality of GUI position values and the plurality of corresponding GUI time values. The geospatial animation app implements an interactive animated GUI that renders a plurality of geospatial graphics or graphical routes on a geographic area map via a display device. The geospatial graphics or graphical routes are rendered to have different visual forms based on differences between respective GUI position values and corresponding GUI time values.

The grouping of related elements can be classified into a crosswalk (or in some embodiments a type of crosswalk) based on attributes of the grouping of related elements, where the attributes of the grouping of the elements includes a distance between the at least two painted lines, and an orientation of the grouping of related elements on the road surface.
