REAL-TIME CARBON FOOTPRINT ESTIMATION
Methods and systems are provided for estimating a carbon footprint of a vehicle in real-time. In one example, the carbon footprint is estimated based on blockchain data. The blockchain data may record carbon emissions generated along one or more energy supply chains of the vehicle, and the estimated carbon footprint may be displayed at a user interface at a list of estimated carbon footprints corresponding to recharging or refueling sites.
ELECTRIC VEHICLE TRIP PLANNER
Systems and methods are provided for suggesting a charging station for an electric vehicle. A destination of the electric vehicle is determined, and a schedule of a user of the electric vehicle is accessed. An event scheduled during a travel period to reach the destination is identified in the schedule of the user, and a suggested charging station is selected based at least on the destination and the identified scheduled event. The suggested charging station is generated for presentation at a display.
Systems and methods for augmented reality in a vehicle
Systems and methods are provided herein for presenting information in a vehicle. In one example, a method includes determining a route from a source location to a destination location, obtaining one or more features of the route, augmenting a map of the route with the one or more features to generate an augmented map, and displaying the augmented map on a windshield of the vehicle.
Connected vehicle for providing navigation directions to merchant terminals that process vehicle payments
Methods, systems, apparatus, and non-transitory computer readable media are described for using a vehicle as a payment device. Various aspects may include receiving a selection of a stored financial card or financial account at a vehicle head unit. The selected financial card or financial account may be transmitted to a point-of-sale (POS) terminal for making a payment by transmitting a tokenized card number to the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted over a very short-range communication link to ensure that the transmission is secure. For example, electronic circuitry may be attached to the exterior of the vehicle, where the electronic circuitry may be within a threshold distance (e.g. one inch, three inches, six inches, one foot, three feet, etc.) of the POS terminal. The tokenized card number may be transmitted from the vehicle head unit to the electronic circuitry and then to the POS terminal.
Systems and methods for communicating information
Systems and methods for communicating information related to a wearable device are disclosed. Exemplary information includes audio information.
Augmented reality maps
A handheld communication device can capture and display a real-time video stream. The handheld communication device detects a geographic position and camera direction of the handheld communication device. A route is identified from the geographic position of the handheld communication device to a point of interest. The captured video stream is visually augmented with an indicator indicating a direction to travel to the point of interest. The indicator is overlaid on the captured real-time video stream.
Suggesting a route based on desired amount of driver interaction
Aspects of the disclosure relate generally to generating and providing route options for an autonomous vehicle. For example, a user may identify a destination, and in response the vehicle's computer may provide routing options to the user. The routing options may be based on typical navigating considerations such as the total travel time, travel distance, fuel economy, etc. Each routing option may include not only an estimated total time, but also information regarding whether and which portions of the route may be maneuvered under the control of the vehicle alone (fully autonomous), a combination of the vehicle and the driver (semiautonomous), or the driver alone. The time of the longest stretch of driving associated with the autonomous mode as well as map information indicating portions of the routes associated with the type of maneuvering control may also be provided.

POINT OF INTEREST-BASED INFORMATION RECOMMENDATION METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A point of interest (POI)-based information recommendation method and apparatus, an electronic device, and a computer-readable storage medium are provided. The method includes: determining an encircling region encircling a POI in an electronic map; using an original boundary of the encircling region as an inner boundary and performing expansion processing on the inner boundary, to obtain an outer boundary of the encircling region; determining candidate location relationships between a terminal device and the inner boundary and the outer boundary according to positioning data of the terminal device; determining a real-time state according to a historical state of the terminal device and the candidate location relationships, the real-time state being used for representing a location relationship between the terminal device and the inner boundary; and controlling, according to the real-time state, information about the POI outputted through a location service.
Venues map application and system
In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide an inside view that includes the physical layout and geometry of the venue's structure as well as the location, structure and layout of points of interest (e.g., stores, security check points, restrooms) within the venue. The views become more detailed as the user zooms into the venue to reveal points of interest and to give the user a feel for traversing the venue.
