MINI-GASTRIN ANALOGUE, IN PARTICULAR FOR USE IN CCK2 RECEPTOR POSITIVE TUMOUR DIAGNOSIS AND/OR TREATMENT
20210145990 · 2021-05-20 · ·

A gastrin analogue shows high uptake in CCK-2 receptor positive tumors and simultaneously a very low accumulation in the kidneys. This is achieved by a mini-gastrin analogue PP-F11 having the formula: PP-F11-X-DGlu-DGlu-DGlu-DGlu-DGlu-DGlu-Ala-Tyr-Gly-Trp-Y-Asp-Phe-NH.sub.2, wherein Y is an amino acid replacing methionine and X is a chemical group attached to the peptide for diagnostic and/or therapeutic intervention at CCK-2 receptor relevant diseases. Very suitable compounds with respect to a high tumor to kidney ratio are mini-gastrin analogues with six D-glutamic acids or six glutamines. These compounds still possess a methionine which can be oxidized easily which is a disadvantage for clinical application under GMP due to the forms which may occur. The elimination of the methionine leads to a lower affinity to oxidation which in general favors the tumor-kidney-ratio. Ideally, the methionine is replaced by norleucine. This PP-F11N mini gastrin exhibits currently the best tumor-kidney-ratio and is the most promising candidate.

METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS FOR MODULATING CANCER STEM CELLS

Disclosed are compositions and methods that use lysine demethylase inhibitors for inhibiting the growth of cancer stem cells or tumor initiating cells, for enhancing the biological effects of chemotherapeutic drugs or irradiation on cancer cells and/or for preventing cancer recurrence.

ANTI-HUMAN PAPILLOMAVIRUS 16 E7 T CELL RECEPTORS

Disclosed is a synthetic T cell receptor (TCR) having antigenic specificity for an HLA-A2-restricted epitope of human papillomavirus (HPV) 16 E7, E711-19. Related polypeptides and proteins, as well as related nucleic acids, recombinant expression vectors, host cells, and populations of cells are also provided. Antibodies, or an antigen binding portion thereof, and pharmaceutical compositions relating to the TCRs of the invention are also provided. Also disclosed are methods of detecting the presence of a condition in a mammal and methods of treating or preventing a condition in a mammal, wherein the condition is cancer, HPV 16 infection, or HPV-positive premalignancy.

METHODS AND ASSAYS RELATING TO CIRCULATING TUMOR CELLS

The technology described herein relates to methods of detecting circulating tumor cells (CTCs), e.g. by detecting changes in the expression of certain CTC marker genes. Aberrant expression of CTC marker genes, e.g. changes in expression indicative of CTCs can also be targeted in order to treat cancer.

METHODS AND COMPOSITIONS RELATED TO T-CELL ACTIVITY

Embodiments concern methods and composition related to anergic T-cells in patients, such as cancer patients.

Provided herein are compositions and methods for the treatment of cancer by inhibition of β-catenin or a β-catenin pathway. In particular, inhibitors of β-catenin and/or the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway are employed prevent or reverse evasion of immune response or immunotherapy by cancers.

Methods and Diagnostics for Cancer Detection and Treatment Monitoring

Methods and diagnostic compositions for monitoring ER− breast cancer are disclosed. In some aspects, a method for detecting ER− breast cancer in a subject comprises obtaining a subject sample from a subject suffering from breast cancer; determining a level of NOHA in the subject sample; and comparing the level of NOHA obtained from the subject sample to the level of NOHA in a control sample, wherein a lower level of NOHA in the subject sample indicates presence of ER− breast cancer in the subject.
