Described herein are antiperspirant and deodorant compositions which are advantageously free of silicone. Particular embodiments concern silicone-free compositions comprising at least one emollient, at least one structuring agent, and at least one natural or synthetic wax, wherein the at least one emollient comprises isoamyl laurate. Embodiments also concern silicone-free antiperspirant and deodorant compositions comprising a plurality of emollients, the plurality of emollients comprising isoamyl laurate. Also described are methods for making these compositions and others. Also described are uses of the silicone-free compositions for manufacturing antiperspirant sticks or antiperspirant creams, and/or for controlling malodors and transpiration.

The invention relates to a wax of natural origin for cosmetic products consisting of a homogeneous phase of Helianthus annuus sunflower seed wax wherein hydrogenated castor oil is contained. The wax is obtained quickly cooling a molten solution obtained melting separately and then mixing together the aforesaid molten constituents in suitable ratios. The natural origin wax of the invention gives to the cosmetic products containing it useful properties in terms of stability and retains the same flowability of products containing plastic polymers such as polyethylene.

A composition for stimulating eyebrow growth is provided. The composition includes about black Jamaican oil with lavender, about one tablespoon and about a half teaspoon raw cacao powder, about one tablespoon raw shea butter, about one tablespoon yellow beeswax, and about one tablespoon cedarwood oil. The composition may be formed in a solid form and is used as a stick. The stick may be used as a lipstick or eyebrow applicator.

A solid antiperspirant stick composition in the form of a water-in-oil emulsion comprising (i) an aqueous phase comprising dissolved aluminium sesquichlorohydrate antiperspirant active; (ii) an oil phase comprising a solidifying agent; (iii) an emulsifier and (iv) at least 5% by weight of a polyol selected from glycerol, propylene glycol and/or PEG oligomers having a molecular weight of from 180 to 420.

This invention relates according to a solid cosmetic composition for makeup or treatment comprising: —a continuous fatty phase comprising at least one silicone polyamide, at least one non-volatile polar hydrocarbon-based oil and at least one polar wax of which the melting point is less than or equal to 90° C.; and—an aqueous phase dispersed in the continuous fatty phase, said silicone polyamide representing at most 9% by weight with respect to the total weight of said composition, and said wax representing at least 7% by weight with respect to the total weight of said composition.

An anhydrous personal care composition, comprising: (a) 45 to 60 weight % of at least one ester, selected from (i) triglycerides, (ii) diglycerides, (iii) monoglycerides, (iv) monoesters of diols, and (v) diesters of diols; (b) a first wax having a melting point of from 35° C. to 72° C. present in an amount of 5 to 25 weight %; (c) a second wax having a melting point of 73 to 90° C. present in an amount of 0.5 to 15 weight %; and (d) at least one plant oil having a saponification value of from 150 to 275 mg KOH/g present in an amount of 5 to 35 weight.

The present invention refers to the use of a surface-reacted calcium carbonate having a volume median particle size d.sub.50 from 0.1 to 90 μm as skin appearance modifier in a cosmetic and/or skin care composition.

A stick-shaped cosmetic product including (a) 0.1 to 4 mass % of at least one selected from a partially cross-linked polyether modified silicone and a partially cross-linked polyglycerin modified silicone, (b) 1 to 10 mass % of wax, and (c) 30 mass % or more of an aqueous component.

The present disclosure provides a solid hair conditioning composition with a low water content. The solid hair conditioning composition of the present disclosure comprises: (a) from about 10 wt % to about 70 wt % of at least one fat or oil having a melting point above about 20° C., (b) from about 3 wt % to about 50 wt % of at least one cationic surfactant, and (c) from about 0.5 wt % to about 20 wt % of a polyhydric alcohol and/or polyethylene glycol, wherein the water content is less than about 20 wt %.

A solid cosmetic that has an excellent glossy feeling, excellent adhesion, and excellent storage stability and provides an excellent sensation when used. The solid cosmetic contains (a) diphenylsiloxy phenyl trimethicone, (b) a hydrogenated polyisobutene that is soluble with component (a), (c) at least one of isotridecyl isononanoate, isononyl isononanoate, triethylhexanoin, ethylhexyl palmitate, caprylic/capric triglyceride, neopentyl glycol dicaprate, diisostearyl malate, mineral oil, polyglyceryl polyisostearate, and sorbitan sesquiisostearate, and (d) wax.
