Paraffin wax with CBD isolate
The method comprising melting a composition of matter comprising paraffin wax, mineral oil, aloe vera and CBD, placing a body member into said melted composition several times, withdrawing the body member from said composition, allowing the composition to solidify on the body member and peeling the solidified composition from said body member, said composition being solid, non-tacky, non-sticky and essentially non-material depositing at room temperature.
Method for producing shaped functional cellulose articles with targeted release of active ingredients
Methods for producing cellulose articles having controlled release of active ingredient include dispersing pulp in aqueous direct solvent for cellulose to form a slurry. Organically modified or ion-exchange-activated phyllosilicate is homogenized in a direct solvent for cellulose with exfoliation by shearing, then mixed with the slurried pulp. A mixture of active ingredient and a lipophilic matrix material or a water-in-oil (“W/O”) emulsion containing active ingredient is stabilized with thickener, converted into a gel-like paste, and mixed with the slurried pulp. Water is stripped from the mixture until all cellulose is dissolved, the mixture is formed into shaped articles, and dried. Exemplary active ingredients include cosmetic active ingredients, fat-soluble vitamins or apolar plant extracts. Domains of active ingredient and matrix material or emulsion containing active ingredient are present as fine divisions within the inventive articles. Exemplary shaped articles include functional fibers in knitted, woven and nonwoven fabrics; paper; foils and membranes.
METHOD FOR TRANSLUCENT DYEING OF HAIR (VARIANTS) AND COMPOSITION FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION THEREOF
The group of inventions relates to the field of hairdressing and includes a method for the translucent dyeing of hair which is carried out by the step-by-step layered application of requisite compositions onto a strip of hair with mechanical action and constant monitoring of the process, said method comprising preparation of the hair for dyeing and dyeing with a dye which has been diluted with an oxidizing agent, wherein preparation for dyeing is carried out using compositions in the form of diffusions which are a mixture of components in which shampoo is used as an active substance, and dyeing is carried out using diffusions which are a mixture of components comprising an oxidative dye and a low-concentration oxidizing agent. The invention also relates to diffusions for implementing the method.
NOVEL ANHYDROUS COMPOSITIONS COMPRISED OF MARINE OILS
The present disclosure describes a novel anhydrous topical pharmaceutical composition comprised of marine oil, such as fish oil or algae oil; vegetable oil having a an omega3 fat content greater than 9 wt %, such as hempseed oil, canola oil, flax seed oil, or cannabidiol; monolaurin, cetyl esters or wax; and medium chain triglycerides (“MCT”), and optionally fish collagen. The composition is useful for treating wounds, burns and skin conditions.
Cosmetic composition comprising a pullulan derivative
The invention relates to a composition comprising: (i) a trialkylsiloxysilylcarbamoyl pullulan compound, (ii) a polymethyl methacrylate polymer, (iii) a mattifying substance, and (iv) at least one volatile hydrocarbon oil. The invention is also targeted at the use of such a composition for making up and/or caring for keratinous substances, the skin and the lips, and more particularly in mascaras, foundations and lipsticks.
Microorganisms that extracellularly secrete lipid particles encapsulating lipids
There are provided microorganisms having a property of producing a lipid containing unsaturated fatty acids as constituent fatty acids and extracellularly secreting the produced lipid encapsulated in lipid particles, methods of screening said microorganisms, as well as methods of efficiently producing a fatty acid-containing lipid using said microorganisms. Furthermore, there are provided lipid particles encapsulating a lipid containing unsaturated fatty acids, and foods, cosmetics, and animal feeds comprising said lipid particles added thereto. Artificially treated microorganisms or microorganisms collected from nature are grown on a solid medium, and microbial strains that form lipid particles at the periphery of the colonies and/or microbial strains that, when cultured in a transparent liquid medium, make the culture liquid cloudy are selected. The microorganisms obtained are cultured, lipid-containing lipid particles secreted in the culture liquid, are separated from the culture liquid, and the lipid is separated and purified.
Hair cosmetic
A hair cosmetic comprising the following components (A) and (B) at a mass ratio of component (B) to component (A), (B)/(A), of 0.7 or more and 5.0 or less: (A) an aromatic sulfonic acid having a molecular weight of 300 or less or a salt thereof; and (B) a cationic polymer having a cationic charge density of 4.5 meq/g or more.
Oxidizing composition for treating keratin materials, comprising a fatty substance and oxyalkylenated surfactants
The present invention relates to a composition for treating keratin materials, in particular keratin fibres, and in particular human keratin fibres such as the hair, comprising, in a cosmetically acceptable medium: at least one fatty substance in a content of greater than or equal to 10% by weight relative to the total weight of the composition, at least one oxyalkylenated (OA), preferably oxyethylenated (OE), nonionic surfactant comprising a number of OA units, preferably OE units, ranging from 1 to 9, at least one oxyalkylenated (OA), preferably oxyethylenated (OE), nonionic surfactant comprising at least 10 OA units, preferably OE units, the weight ratio of the amount of oxyalkylenated (OA), preferably oxyethylenated, nonionic surfactant(s) comprising a number of OA units, preferably OE units, ranging from 1 to 9 to the amount of oxyalkylenated (OA), preferably oxyethylenated, nonionic surfactants comprising at least 10 OA units, preferably OE units, being greater than 1, at least one chemical oxidizing agent, preferably hydrogen peroxide. The composition in accordance with the invention may be used for dyeing, bleaching or permanently reshaping keratin materials, in particular keratin fibres. It produces ready-to-use compositions that give good dyeing, bleaching or permanent-reshaping properties without degrading the keratin materials, in particular keratin fibres, and without impairing their cosmetic properties.
Solid cosmetic composition with a moisturizing effect
Disclosed is a cosmetic composition in the form of a solid water-in-oil emulsion, for example a lipstick, a lip balm, a foundation or a concealer. It also relates to a cosmetic method for caring for or making up the lips or the skin, including the topical application to the lips or the skin of this composition.
