Plug Product and a Method of Using the Plug Product for Tooth-Associated Pain
A method of reducing tooth-associated pain includes at least shaping plug product into a shape, identifying a source of tooth-associated pain, and engaging the shaped plug product directly with the source of tooth-associated pain. Some implementations include at least shaping a plug product that is at least partly composed of gum base. Some particular implementations include at least shaping a plug product that is completely composed of gum base. Some other particular implementations include at least shaping a plug product that includes one or more numbing agents. Some alternative implementations, include at least shaping a plug product that is at least partly composed of beeswax. A plug product for reducing tooth-associated pain includes a mixture that includes at least one or more numbing agents, at least one of beeswax or gum base and at least one of stevia, corn starch, glycerin, citric acid, or corn syrup.

The present invention provides a patch for attaching to teeth or a surrounding part of teeth, and the patch can be easily removed by tooth brushing alone.
DENTAL PREPARATION COMPRISING FIBERS BASED ON HYALURONIC ACID WITH REGULATED BIODEGRADABILITY
A biodegradable dental preparation comprising at least one water-soluble fiber from hyaluronic acid or a physiologically acceptable salt thereof and at least one fiber from a non-polar derivative of hyaluronic acid is disclosed. The dental preparation may comprise an antimicrobial agent. The dental preparation may be useful in the treatment of periodontal disease or in the treatment of injuries in the periodontium and oral mucosa. Methods of preparing the dental preparations, fibers thereof, and related compositions thereto, are also disclosed.

MICELLAR DISINFECTANTS
The present disclosure relates to micellar compositions conformed by biomimetic phospholipids and nonionic surfactants, among other ingredients, for eliminating one or more types of microorganisms including mycobacteria, bacteria, fungi, and viruses from a surface within a contact time on the surface of less than about 1 minutes and having pH of from about 0.3 to 8. The present invention aims on using 100% bio-based (renewable) biodegradable, non-toxic ingredients to be applied not only to hard inanimate surfaces but also on tissue for endodontic applications.
PROCESS FOR FABRICATING A DENTAL APPLIANCE AND ACCOMPANYING USE CASES
For improving the functionality and bio-compatibility of dental appliances (2), a novel process is described for making a thermoplastic functional foil (1), from which such dental appliances (2) may be obtained by thermoforming the functional foil (1). A carrier liquid (9) containing an organic and preferably bio-based polymer (6) is enriched with an agent (7) and applied onto a solid thermoplastic core foil (13). After evaporating of a solvent contained in the carrier liquid (9), a uniform and highly homogenous functional coating (5) is obtained on the core foil (13). After thermoforming of the foil (1), the dental appliance (2) thus features an outer protective coating (5) offering enhanced functionality. Moreover, it is possible to reload the agent (7) into the coating (5) of the appliance (2) using a reload-liquid (23).
Compositions and methods for treating canker sores

Zinc Phosphate Complex
A soluble zinc polyphosphate complex made by combining ingredients which include an inorganic zinc salt and a plurality of long chain polyphosphates having 6 or more phosphate polymer units, the relative amount of inorganic zinc salt and long chain polyphosphates providing a phosphorus to zinc mole ratio of at least 6:1. Further provided is a method of making this soluble zinc polyphosphate.

Aqueous pharmaceutical compositions are provided comprising tranexamic acid, sodium carboxymethyl cellulose, Tween® 20, and menthol wherein the composition exhibits good long term stability, little to no discoloration over time, and reduced bitterness compared to a control solution of tranexamic acid and water.
