BARCODE SCANNER SYSTEM WITH ANIMATED FEEDBACK
A system and method for providing animated feedback for a barcode scanning system may include receiving image data from a camera, processing the image data, detecting a machine-readable indicia in the image data, and attempting to decode the machine-readable indicia. In response to successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia, displaying a first animation indicative of successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia. Otherwise, in response to not successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia, displaying a second animation indicative of not successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia.
Electromagnetic state sensing devices
A container includes a surface and an electromagnetic state sensing device including one or more resonance portions printed on the surface of the container. Each resonance portion may include an assembly of 3D carbon-containing structures that convey information of a stored item by resonating at a predetermined frequency in response to an electromagnetic radiation ping received from a user device. The resonance portions may include at least a first resonance portion configured to convey product identification information of the stored item and a second resonance portion configured to convey product state information of the stored item. The first resonance portion conveys product identification information of the stored item in response to a first electromagnetic radiation ping having a first frequency, and the second resonance portion conveys product state information of the stored item in response to a second electromagnetic radiation ping having a second frequency different than the first frequency.
Systems and methods to analyze product pricing
The described systems and methods provide a user's mobile device with a graphical user interface that can provide information about the lowest price offered for one or more products. For instance, when a person at a physical retail store places one or more products in a physical shopping cart, a scanning device may scan the one or more products to obtain information about the one or more products, the scanned information is sent to a server that provides pricing and store location information to a mobile device based on the scanned information, the pricing and store location information can be analyzed by the mobile device to display the lowest price and store location for each product.
Reading device and method
A reading device includes an antenna, a data storage unit, and a controller. The antenna is configured to receive tag information from RFID tags attached to objects in a receiving range. The data storage unit stores an object ID in association with a predetermined total number of RFID tags on an object corresponding to the object ID. The controller is configured to start a reading operation in which the antenna emits radio waves and receives tag information from the RFID tags. The controller counts the number of RFID tags associated with the object ID according to the tag information received during the reading operation. The counted number is compared to the predetermined total number associated with the object ID, and the controller controls a timing for terminating the reading operation based on the comparison.
Apparatus and Methods for Monitoring Objects in a Surgical Field
A system and method for performing a package status check are provided, including a scanner for use in a surgical field and having an antenna for emitting a radio frequency detection field, the scanner including control circuitry configured to determine a predetermined quantity of sponges corresponding to a complete pack of sponges; count a number of sponges associated with the pack with the scanner prior to use of the sponges in a surgical field; and issue an alert when a number of counted sponges does not match the predetermined quantity corresponding to the complete pack. The system and method may include the control circuitry configured to determine whether a sponge has been re-scanned or is unknown by comparing detected information with previously detected information prior.
SYSTEM FOR VERIFYING TURBOJET ENGINE PARTS USING RADIO FREQUENCY IDENTIFICATION, COMPRISING AN INTEGRATED ANTENNA
A system for aircraft maintenance is disclosed, such as for monitoring parts mounted in a turbojet engine, the turbojet engine being accommodated in a nacelle compartment delimited by a nacelle wall. The system can verify parts, each of the parts being equipped with an RFID tag. The verification system includes an inner antenna accommodated in the nacelle compartment, the inner antenna being arranged to allow the exchange of radio frequency signals with each RFID tag, an interface device including an access point located outside the nacelle compartment, the interface device being arranged to be able to be connected to an interrogator device arranged to communicate with the RFID tag, and a transmission line connecting the interface device to the inner antenna.
GENUINE PRODUCT MULTI-LAYERED SECURITY AND AUTHENTICATION
A system and method for providing product security and brand authentication, and more specifically, to a system and method for providing a secure system for identifying and authenticating a product brand while in a distribution channel is disclosed. The system uses RFID tags attached to products and in product packaging to identify whether the product is a genuine item. The RFID tag stores an encrypted data that identifies the product, its source, and related information. The data is used when contacting a remote server to perform the authentication. Each time the RFID tag is read, the stored data is changed making the data difficult to impossible to fake.
ELECTROMAGNETIC STATE SENSING DEVICES
A container includes a surface and a first resonance portion. The surface defines a volume of the container, and the first resonance portion includes an assembly of three-dimensional (3D) carbon-containing structures printed on the surface of the container using one or more first carbon-based inks. The first resonance portion is configured to indicate a presence of an item within the container by resonating at one or more predetermined frequencies in response to an electromagnetic radiation ping associated with a user device located a distance from the container. In some implementations, the container may include a second resonance portion including an assembly of 3D carbon-containing structures printed on the surface of the container using one or more second carbon-based inks, the one or more second carbon-based inks being different than the one or more first carbon-based inks.
System for inspecting components of a turbojet engine using radio-frequency identification
A system and a method for inspecting components of a turbojet engine using RFID tags and an associated interrogator device. The inspection system includes at least one RFID tag associated with a component of the turbojet engine and an interrogator device arranged so as to be able to communicate with the RFID tag, the interrogator device being equipped with an RFID antenna arranged so as to be able to be inserted into a nacelle compartment of the turbojet engine through an inspection opening intended for the passage of an endoscope probe.
MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR RESTAURANT COLD STORE
The present disclosure discloses a management system for a restaurant cold store. The management system includes RFID tags, an RFID reader, a door opening and closing sensor, and a computer system. Each RFID tag has a unique electronic code. The RFID reader is used for reading data from the RFID tags. The door opening and closing sensor is used for monitoring the state of the door of the cold store to trigger the RFID reader to read the data from the RFID tags based on the determination that the door is closed, so as to automatically trigger a stock count. The computer system stores inventory data of materials in the cold store, and the computer system updates the inventory data according to the data obtained by the RFID reader based on the determination that the door opening and closing sensor detects that the door of the cold store is closed.
