Wrist-worn product code reader
A wrist-worn device comprises a band or strap for attaching the device to a wearer's wrist; a product code reader comprising at least one optical component; a sensor; and a processor. The sensor is configured in use to detect rotation of the device indicative of a rotation of the device around a longitudinal axis of the wearer's wrist. The processor is coupled to the sensor and to the product code reader and is configured in use to activate the optical component, or place the device in a state in which a predefined subsequent action or actions can activate the optical component, when the sensor detects a rotation of the device over at least a predefined angle.
WEARABLE DEVICE
A wearable device comprising a memory storing a database of product codes and associated product recommendations derived from personalised biological information, a product code reader for reading a product code or data from a product, and a processor for using a read product code or read data to perform a look-up in the database to obtain a product recommendation for the associated product. The wearable device further comprises an indicator for providing an indication of the obtained product recommendation to a wearer of the device
SCANNER GLOVES AND REAL-TIME TRACKING SYSTEM
A scanning and monitoring glove system includes a glove member having a palm portion, a thumb portion and a plurality of finger portions, a product scanner integrated into the glove member, a digital camera integrated into one of the plurality of finger portions of the glove member, and a biometric scanning device integrated into the glove member. The biometric scanning device being operable to sense biometric data associated with a wearer of the glove member.
Inventory event detection using residual heat information
An inventory management system is described. The inventory management system may be configured to use thermal image data to determine that an item was successfully placed in a storage structure. As part of this process, thermal images may be processed to identify instances of temperature differences that correspond to the item. These temperature differences may be evidence of a recent touch by an operator or may be generated by temperature changing devices during item placement.
WIRELESS BARCODE SCANNING APPARATUS AND WIRELESS BARCODE SCANNING SYSTEM INCLUDING THE SAME
A wireless barcode scanning system includes a wireless barcode scanning apparatus and an electronic apparatus, and a Bluetooth connection is established between the wireless barcode scanning apparatus and the electronic apparatus. The wireless barcode scanning apparatus reads a barcode to acquire barcode information of the barcode and the barcode information is transmitted to the electronic apparatus to be stored and/or displayed by the Bluetooth connection. Therefore, the wireless barcode scanning apparatus may be widely applied to the wireless transmission of scanned barcode data because of quick-speed induction and connection and high-volume data transmission.
FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION SYSTEM, A DRIVING CIRCUIT AND A FINGERPRINT IDENTIFICATION METHOD
A fingerprint identification system is provided. The fingerprint identification system includes a sensing panel and a driving circuit. The sensing panel includes a plurality of sensors. Each of the sensors transmits a sensing signal and a reference signal through two signal transmission paths. The driving circuit is coupled to the sensing panel. The driving circuit is configured to drive the sensing panel, and execute a fingerprint identification operation according to the sensing signal and the reference signal. The sensing signal and the reference signal form a differential signal pair. The driving circuit generates a fingerprint identification signal according to the sensing signal and the reference signal. A driving circuit and a fingerprint identification method are also provided.
AN ATTACHMENT DEVICE
The present disclosure provides an attachment device comprising a first subassembly, comprising a mounting component, a retainer component, coupled to a second subassembly comprising a first rotatable component, a second rotatable component, and a trigger assembly. The mounting component comprises an opening defining at least one slot. The retainer component is coupled to the mounting component defining a first cavity. The spring component, housed in the first cavity, is coupled to the retainer component. The first rotatable component is coupled to the second rotatable component to define a second cavity extending from a first surface of the first rotatable component to a second surface of the second rotatable component. A trigger actuator of the trigger assembly is housed in the second cavity. The first rotatable component defines at least one tab defined to be received within the at least one slot of the mounting component.
Ergonomic ring scanner oriented in a neutral grip position and charging cradle assembly
Embodiments position a barcode reader, or other optical detector, to scan upright barcodes when the user hand is in the neutral position. To do this, embodiments rest the body of the ring scanner device on top of the index finger, with the palm facing inward toward the users body. Embodiments have integrated interactivity, including a touchscreen display and separate buttons that can be used to operate the optical detector and input data into an integrated computing device. The integrated computing device can run software applications on board the ring scanner device. Finally, the integrated computing device can be remotely managed.
BARCODE SCANNER SYSTEM WITH ANIMATED FEEDBACK
A system and method for providing animated feedback for a barcode scanning system may include receiving image data from a camera, processing the image data, detecting a machine-readable indicia in the image data, and attempting to decode the machine-readable indicia. In response to successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia, displaying a first animation indicative of successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia. Otherwise, in response to not successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia, displaying a second animation indicative of not successfully decoding the machine-readable indicia.
RUGGEDIZED RING SCANNER, AND APPLICATIONS THEREOF
Embodiments position a barcode reader, or other optical detector, to scan upright barcodes when the user hand is in the neutral position. To do this, embodiments rest the body of the ring scanner device on top of the index finger, with the palm facing inward toward the users body. Embodiments have integrated interactivity, including a touchscreen display and separate buttons that can be used to operate the optical detector and input data into an integrated computing device. The integrated computing device can run software applications on board the ring scanner device. The integrated computing device can be remotely managed. A ruggedized case is also provided.
