Venues map application and system
In some implementations, a computing device can provide a map application providing a representation of a physical structure of venues (e.g., shopping centers, airports) identified by the application. In addition, the application can provide an inside view that includes the physical layout and geometry of the venue's structure as well as the location, structure and layout of points of interest (e.g., stores, security check points, restrooms) within the venue. The views become more detailed as the user zooms into the venue to reveal points of interest and to give the user a feel for traversing the venue.
Superimposed-image display device and computer program
Superimposed-image display devices and programs display a guide image providing a guidance of information to a driver of a vehicle such that the guide image is superimposed on a view ahead of the vehicle and is visually recognized. The systems and programs obtain three-dimensional map information that specifies a three-dimensional shape of a road and a structure nearby the road and arrange the guide image in the three-dimensional map information, based on the three-dimensional shape of the road and the structure nearby the road. The systems and programs obtain a shape of the guide image that is visually recognized from a position of the driver in the three-dimensional map information and display the guide image having the obtained shape.
VEHICLE DISPLAY DEVICE, DISPLAY METHOD, AND STORAGE MEDIUM
A vehicle display device configured to display a predetermined image on a display region depicting a scene ahead of a vehicle. The vehicle display device includes memory and a processor connected to the memory. The processor is configured to acquire position information for the vehicle and position information for a destination point, and to display a first image indicating an orientation of the destination point at the display region in a case in which a relationship between the position of the vehicle and the position of the destination point satisfies a predetermined condition relating to visibility.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS FOR DELIVERING CONTENT TO A USER BASED ON GEOLOCATION
A system for delivering content to a user based on geolocation may include a user device with a location sensor and a software application. The system may include a server, including executable instructions configured to execute a tour module. The server may include a data storage, including user data and tour data stored thereon. The tour data may include a point of interest (POI) data object, including location data and content data. The software application may be configured to obtain a location of the user device from the location sensor and send the location to the tour module. The tour module may be configured to determine, from the location of the user device, that the user device is within a geo-fence of the POI data object and send the content data to the software application. The software application may be configured to display the content data on the user device.
CONTROL METHOD AND CONTROL SYSTEM OF MOBILE DEVICE
A control method and control system of a mobile device perform a route guidance and POI guidance using a POI database for a commercial navigation and a POI database for AR, and enable seamless transition between commercial navigation services and AR services by removing the dependency of data through data exchange between the POI database for commercial navigation and the POI database for AR. The control method includes receiving a selection of destination; executing one of a first route guidance mode based on non-AR and a second route guidance mode based on AR, based on the selected destination; and providing a route guidance service based on AR by switching from the first route guidance mode to the second route guidance mode, in response to that a remaining distance or remaining time from a location of the mobile device to the selected destination approaches within a predetermined distance or predetermined time.
Augmented Reality Based Point of Interest Guide Device and Method
An embodiment augmented reality (AR)-based point of interest (POI) guide method includes performing a plane detection with respect to an actual image in an area around a POI, forming a grid in the area where the plane detection of the actual image is performed, and displaying an anchor and a highlight at a position of the POI based on the grid.
USER INTERFACES FOR MAPS AND NAVIGATION
In some embodiments, an electronic device present navigation routes from various perspectives. In some embodiments, an electronic device modifies display of representations of (e.g., physical) objects in the vicinity of a navigation route while presenting navigation directions. In some embodiments, an electronic device modifies display of portions of a navigation route that are occluded by representations of (e.g., physical) objects in a map. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents representations of (e.g., physical) objects in maps. In some embodiments, an electronic device presents representations of (e.g., physical) objects in maps in response to requests to search for (e.g., physical) objects.
DISPLAY APPARATUS, EVENT SUPPORT SYSTEM, DISPLAY METHOD, AND EVENT SUPPORT SYSTEM PRODUCTION METHOD
In a display apparatus, an acquisition unit acquires coordinate information associated with a fiducial marker installed in a specific area of a real space and a virtual object including advertisement information, an imaging unit images a real image and the fiducial marker, a self-position specifying unit specifies a self-position from a distance and an angle from the imaged fiducial marker, a state detecting unit detects a distance and an angle of view from the virtual point based on the self-position, a selection unit selects any virtual object existing within an angle of view from the self-position, and a display unit displays a main object of the virtual object existing within the angle of view from the self-position in such a manner that the main object is superimposed on a relative position on the real image and displays a main object and a sub object of the selected virtual object.
METHOD OF PROVIDING IMAGE BY VEHICLE NAVIGATION DEVICE
Disclosed is an AR image provision method of a vehicle navigation system, including transmitting, by a processor, information on a guide point or vehicle speed information to an external server, searching, by an external server, for candidate vehicles based on the information on the guide point or the vehicle speed information, selecting, by the external server, an image providing vehicle from among the candidate vehicles according to priority set by the processor, generating, by the external server, a graphical object to be displayed in a camera image received from the image providing vehicle using augmented reality (AR), and displaying, by the processor, AR image information on the guide point including the camera image and the graphical object on a navigation screen.
Map data processing method, computer device and storage medium
A map data processing method is performed at a computing device, the method including: detecting a positioning result updated in a three-dimensional space; determining a field of view area corresponding to the updated positioning result; obtaining a tile corresponding to the updated positioning result and a tile corresponding to the field of view area; dynamically loading, into an internal memory space, the tile corresponding to the updated positioning result, and the tile corresponding to the field of view area; and rendering, based on the loaded tiles, an image, in the three-dimensional space, located on the positioning result and corresponding to the field of view area.
