PROTECTIVE DOME FOR MONITORING CAMERA SYSTEM
A dome (102) for a monitoring camera system comprises several monitoring cameras. The dome is formed from a transparent material, and has a toroidal shape with a rotational symmetry along a rotational angle (α) around a first axis of symmetry (S1). An outer segment of the dome, in section, has a shape further defined by a second axis of symmetry (S2) arranged at a first radius (13) from the first axis of symmetry (S1) and is orthogonal to the first axis. The outer segment has a curvature following a second radius (r) over an angle (β) around the second axis of symmetry (S2).
Automatic orientation of a camera in response to sensor data
Movements of a pan and tilt camera may be controlled by reorienting the camera in response to discrete information obtained by the camera from a related but independent device such as a sensor so that the camera can capture video of events of potential interest to a user. Such sensors can respond to multiple stimuli such as, for example, sound, motion, light, pressure, humidity, and/or the like. The cameras can include, for example, pan and tilt and zoom (PTZ) cameras that can be used in monitoring and surveillance operations. For example, the pan and tilt camera can be used as a surveillance camera at a home, business, vacation, or any other property.
Imaging apparatus
An imaging apparatus according to the present invention includes a lens unit including an image sensor, and configured to be rotatable about a tilt rotation axis, a rotating unit configured to be rotatable about a pan rotation axis, a non-rotating unit to which the rotating unit is rotatably attached, and a flexible printed circuit configured to connect the lens unit with the non-rotating unit. The flexible printed circuit includes an arc-shaped first portion coaxial with the pan rotation axis in a plane perpendicular to the pan rotation axis, and an arc-shaped second portion coaxial with the tilt rotation axis in a plane perpendicular to the tilt rotation axis. The first portion is bent around an axis orthogonal to the pan rotation axis.
LOW-COST, COMPACT SECURITY MONITORING
Aspects of the present disclosure are directed toward methods, systems and apparatuses that include a main printed circuit board with first-type sensor circuitry and another printed circuit board with second-type sensor circuitry. One of the main printed circuit board and the other printed circuit board is adjustable or set relative to the other of the main printed circuit board and the other printed circuit board. Additionally, a connector is provided that adjusts one of the main printed circuit board and the other printed circuit board relative to the other of the main printed circuit board and the other printed circuit board, which adjusts a field of view of the first-type sensor circuitry relative to the second-type sensor circuitry.
Method and apparatus to correlate mobile device wireless activity and security data
A computer implemented method, apparatus, and computer program are provided. The method is under control of one or more processors configured with executable instructions. The method detects, at a wireless activity (WLA) tracking apparatus, wireless activity of a mobile device in a proximity of a local wireless environment. The method automatically generates a WLA timestamp associated with the detecting the wireless activity of the mobile device and utilizes one or more of the wireless activity and WLA timestamp to identify one or more of a security device and a segment of security data collected by the security device.
Community Security System Using Intelligent Information Sharing
The present invention relates to a community security system capable of monitoring multiple, generally adjacent, consecutive private security areas to confirm human activity and engage sensory alerts. The community security system includes at least two private security areas having the capability of being networked together to enable information sharing. Each private security area is monitored by a private security system and contains one or more detection devices for monitoring and detecting activity occurring within the boundaries of the private security area. Information detected by detection devices within the private security areas can then communicate with other detection devices within the private security area or with the community security system to confirm activity, track activity across adjacent boundaries, engage sensory alerts and notify community members or authorities, as needed.
VIDEO CAMERA ASSEMBLY
A video camera assembly, includes a movable body to house a video camera and coupled in a rotatable manner to a base body. The base body has a cavity with a base portion of the base body and a closing wall which has a seat defining a through hole. The cavity houses a shaft on the first end of which the movable body is mounted, said first end of the shaft passes through the through hole of the closing wall and is coupled to the through hole by means of a first bearing inserted in the seat. The end of the shaft opposite to the first end is supported by a rolling type second bearing, and is connected to the base body. The second bearing is inserted in an annular seat made of material which projects from the base portion of the cavity towards the closing wall.
Monitoring system, monitoring method, computer program, and storage medium
A coverage area picture imaging a maximum area is displayed on a coverage area picture display. A camera is moved within a predetermined range and a plurality of frames obtained as a result form a picture. The pixels of the picture is decimated in vertical and horizontal directions and form a thumbnail as the coverage area picture. The coverage area picture display presents a display indicating a direction in which the camera is currently directed for picture photographing. In accordance with the display, a photographing direction is controlled. A plurality of frames are photographed with respect to a designated position, then stored, and displayed. A whole picture display presents a whole panorama picture. A selective picture display presents a frame at the position designated within the whole panorama picture as a selected picture.
MONITORING CAMERA AND SWING CORRECTION METHOD
A monitoring camera sets ON or OFF of swing correction in accordance with setting information about whether or not the swing correction of an image (that is, captured image) captured by an image sensor is performed, and corrects swing by cutting out a part of the captured image based on a swing detected value of a vibration sensor in a case where the swing correction is set ON. The monitoring camera outputs the captured image while maintaining a state thereof in a case where the swing correction is set OFF.
Damage resistant rotatable video camera assembly
