EVENT VIDEO SEQUENCES
20220286621 · 2022-09-08 · ·

A method of providing an event-initiated video sequence, comprises a pre-event video sequence and a post-event video sequence. The pre-event image frames are stored in a non-processed format until such time that an event is taking place. By postponing the image processing of the pre-event video sequence, power savings are accomplished.

Drive recorder operation system, drive recorder, operation method, and recording medium for operation
11409699 · 2022-08-09 · ·

A drive recorder operation system includes a drive recorder and an operation server. The drive recorder generates index information respectively corresponding to a plurality of video files, sends the index information to the operation server, and prohibits a video file from being overwritten based on an overwrite prohibition command from the operation server. The operation server receives an instruction designating index information and sends an overwrite prohibition command including the designated index information to the drive recorder.

VIDEO PRE-RECORDING METHOD, VIDEO CAMERA AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
20220084379 · 2022-03-17 ·

This application discloses a video pre-recording method and video camera, and an electronic device. The video pre-recording method includes: adding a pre-alarm area on a periphery of an alarm area; when occurrence of a predefined event in the pre-alarm area is detected, switching the video camera from a standby state to an operation state, and starting recording to obtain a first video; maintaining the video camera in the operation state, and detecting whether a predefined event occurs in the alarm area; and if occurrence of the predefined event in the alarm area is detected, taking a preset duration of the first video as a pre-recorded video of a second video, where the second video has a starting time that is the same as a time when the predefined event occurs in the alarm area. Based on this, this application can enable low-power video cameras to perform a video pre-recording function.

DOORBELL COMMUNICATION SYSTEMS AND METHODS

The disclosure includes a doorbell having a visitor detection system that can comprise at least one of a camera, a microphone, and a motion detector. The method for using the doorbell can comprise recording, via the camera, video data that represents a video. The method can also comprise recording, via the microphone, audio data that represents audio. The method of using the doorbell can comprise transmitting at least a portion of the video data and at least a portion of the audio data, to a remote computing device that is communicatively coupled to the doorbell. The method can also comprise transmitting the video data and the audio data to a remote server that is communicatively coupled to the doorbell.

Search apparatus

A search device includes: a storage unit configured to store a video obtained from a camera; a screen unit to display the video; and a control unit to control operation of the storage unit and the screen unit, wherein the screen unit may display a time control interface for receiving a time condition, wherein the search device may search for videos and events stored in the storage unit in response to the time condition, and wherein the time control interface may include an AM control interface for receiving a morning time as the time condition and a PM control interface for receiving an afternoon time as the time condition.

Intrusion detection methods and devices

An autonomous wireless intrusion detector device comprises a movement sensor and a digital camera. In response to detecting a potential movement within a monitored area, the digital camera is triggered to create and store a set of consecutive full-size digital images of the monitored area, and a set of reduced-size thumbnail images corresponding to the set of full-size digital images, and a set of reduced-size thumbnail images corresponding to the set of full-size digital images, for the new alarm event. The detector device sends notification of the new alarm event and reduced-size image-related event information to an intrusion detection network entity, and sends the set of full-size images only if requested by the network entity. The network entity prefilters the new event based on the received reduced-size image-related event information, and request thumbnail images and/or full size digital images from the detector device for a further event analysis only if the prefiltering results in a judgement that the new alarm is a true alarm based on the received reduced-size image-related event information.

Wearable Recording System With Memory Designation
20210211611 · 2021-07-08 ·

A surveillance apparatus continuously records imaged data from a camera into a circular buffer in a local memory. When a record signal is received, the system records the video stream that was recorded before the record signal was received, and the video stream that is recorded after the record signal was received. The recorded segment is then write-protected, so that the surveillance apparatus does not overwrite the recorded segment. The recorded segment could then be sent to a remote memory via a wireless connection to free up local memory for future recording sessions.

System and method for electronic surveillance
11082668 · 2021-08-03 · ·

A system and method for surveillance of a scene comprising the steps of: capturing a scene via at least two image streams; processing the first of the two image streams to detect an act, event or object; and, wherein when an act, event or object is detected, storing portions of the second image stream corresponding to the act, event or object independently of the first image stream.

ACOUSTIC DETECTION OF SMALL UNMANNED AIRCRAFT SYSTEMS
20230401943 · 2023-12-14 ·

Systems and methods of non-line-of-sight passive detection and integrated early warning of an unmanned aerial system by a plurality of acoustic sensors are described. In some embodiments, the plurality of acoustic sensors is positioned within an intra-netted array in depth according to at least one of a terrain, terrain features, or man-made objects or structures. The acoustic sensors are capable of detecting and tracking unmanned aerial systems in non-line-of-sight environments. In some embodiments, the acoustic sensors may be in communication with internal electro-optical components or other external sensors, with orthogonal signal data then transmitted to remote observation stations for correlation, threat determination and if required, mitigation. The unmanned aerial systems may be classified by type and a threat level associated with the unmanned aerial system may be determined.

Methods and systems for detecting persons in a smart home environment

The various implementations described herein include methods, devices, and systems for detecting motion and persons. In one aspect, a method is performed at a smart home system that includes a video camera, a server system, and a client device. The video camera captures video and audio, and wirelessly communicates, via the server system, the captured data to the client device. The server system: (1) receives and stores the captured data from the video camera; (2) determines whether an event has occurred, including detected motion; (3) in accordance with a determination that the event has occurred, identifies video and audio corresponding to the event; and (4) classifies the event. The client device receives information indicative of the identified events, displays a user interface for reviewing the video and audio stored by the remote server system, and displays the at least one classification for the event.
