OVERLAYING METADATA ON VIDEO STREAMS ON DEMAND FOR INTELLIGENT VIDEO ANALYSIS
In various examples, cloud computing systems may store frames of video streams and metadata generated from the frames in separate data stores, with each type of data being indexed using shared timestamps. Thus, the frames of a video stream may be stored and/or processed and corresponding metadata of the frames may be stored and/or generated across any number of devices of the cloud computing system (e.g., edge and/or core devices) while being linked by the timestamps. A client device may provide a request or query to dynamically annotate the video stream using a particular subset of the metadata. In processing the request or query, the timestamps may be used to retrieve video data representing frames of the video stream and metadata extracted from those frames across the data stores. The retrieved metadata and video data may be used to annotate the frames for display on the client device.
VIDEO IMAGE VERIFICATION SYSTEM UTILIZING INTEGRATED WIRELESS ROUTER AND WIRE-BASED COMMUNICATIONS
A system and methods of digital image capture, video surveillance and, in particular, to a method for verification of integrity and validity of live or recorded images, video(s) and surveillance images and video(s), both real-time and delayed. The method, in accordance with a principle embodiment, employs the use of additional light (photonic water marks) added to images of objects and scenes The photonic water marks reflect or refract, scatter or entangle with the real objects and scenes to then be digitized with the object or scene image.
METHOD AND APPARATUS FOR VIDEO SURVEILLANCE
Embodiments of the present disclosure provide a method and apparatus for video surveillance. The method comprises: receiving a video data transmission request from a mobile device; registering the mobile device as a temporary surveillance device of the video surveillance system in response to the video data transmission request; establishing a wireless connection with the mobile device, receiving video data from the mobile device via the wireless connection; and processing and storing the video data. The methods or apparatuses of the present disclosure enables a mobile device to temporarily join in a video monitoring system as needed so as to supplement and reinforce the existing video monitoring systems, e.g., enhancing the coverage and/or precision of the video surveillance systems.
Linked transaction camera with cached video log
A management terminal manages a plurality of Self-Service Terminals (SSTs) for customer-assistance, transaction overrides, theft determinations, and transaction security audits. One or more overhead cameras stream real-time video of the transactions being processed at the SSTs to a server. Transaction data produced in real time at the SSTs are also provided to the server. The video is correlated with the transaction data and evaluated for security events. The video is also cached on the server. An operator of the management terminal can access a video review interface based on events and/or information visually gleaned by the operator during the transactions. The interface permits the operator to view a configured cached portion of the video captured for any given transaction to provide context to the operator for determining whether to perform or whether not to perform a transaction audit.
ACTIVITY ZONES FOR CAMERA VIDEO
Methods and systems are provided for establishing an activity zone within video captured by a camera. A user device may establish an activity zone or an exclusion zone within video representing a physical view captured by the camera. An automatic monitoring system may analyze the video of the camera with respect to the activity zone or exclusion zone and trigger notifications that are associated with a zone so as to limit notifications transmitted to the user device to those notifications that are relevant to the user. With activity or exclusion zones video from a camera may be automatically monitored to reduce a volume of notifications transmitted to the user device.
Security system having an alert signal generated by sensors or analytics on image data
A device is provided, comprising: an image storage unit which is configured to store image data obtained by a monitoring camera; an obtaining unit which is configured to obtain an alert signal which occurs depending on a situation in a monitored region; and a transmitting unit which is configured to transmit alert corresponding information which includes a content of the alert signal and any one of in-the-period image data in a reference duration including an occurrence time of the alert signal among image data stored in the image storage unit or an address of the in-the-period image data in the image storage unit to a file server accessible to another apparatus different from the device.
Frictionless security processing
A first device is detected within a geofenced area of an establishment. A second device is determined to be within the geofenced area. A first individual associated with the first device is instructed to enter the establishment and complete a first portion of opening security procedures associated with an opening of the establishment. Upon completion of the first portion, a second individual associated with the second device is instructed to enter the establishment for a second portion of the opening security procedures. The first individual and the second individual are monitored through video feeds during the first portion and the second portion of the opening security procedures for compliance with the opening security procedures.
ASSIGNING, MONITORING AND DISPLAYING RESPECTIVE STATUSES OF SUBJECTS IN A CASHIER-LESS STORE
A method is provided for monitoring status of subjects in an area for a system including a first data set identifying locations of subjects, a second data set identifying events in the area, and a third data set identifying whether accounts matched to the subjects exist. The method includes executing a graphical user interface including a map of at least part of the area including avatars identifying locations of subjects located on the map, and representing respective statuses assigned to the subjects located on the map, the statuses being assigned to the subjects based on one or more of the first, second and third data sets, wherein the assigning of the respective statuses to the subjects are assigned by utilizing at least one of the first, second and third data sets to determine that at least one subject of the subjects is a high risk of loss subject.
Monitoring smart devices on a wireless mesh communication network
A surveillance system and method with at least one wireless input capture device ICD(s) and a corresponding digital input recorder (DIR) and/or another ICD, including the steps of providing the base system; at least one user accessing the DIR via user interface either directly or remotely; the DIR and/or ICD searching for signal from the ICD(s) and establishing communication with them, and the system providing for input capture and data transmission prioritization, thereby providing a secure surveillance system having wireless communication for monitoring a target environment with prioritization capabilities.
Image capturing apparatus with variable event detecting condition
Provided are an event storage device, an event search device, and an event alarm device for an event occurring in a surveillance area. The event storage device includes a processor and a memory and its operation is controlled by the processor. The processor is configured to receive images captured in a surveillance area, detect an event generated in the surveillance area, storing, in the memory, an image related to the event, among the captured images, and storing an event level of the detected event along with the stored image.
