FILM CAPACITOR ELEMENT AND FILM CAPACITOR
A body includes dielectric films, first electrode films, and second electrode films being stacked on one another or being wound together. A first external electrode is at one end of the body and electrically connected to the first electrode films. A second external electrode is at another end of the body and electrically connected to the second electrode films. The body includes a capacitance portion in which each of the first electrode films faces a corresponding second electrode film of the second electrode films with a corresponding dielectric film of the dielectric films in between, and the capacitance portion includes spaces each between a corresponding dielectric film of the dielectric films and a corresponding first electrode film of the first electrode films or between a corresponding dielectric film of the dielectric films and a corresponding second electrode film of the second electrode films.

CAPACITOR ASSEMBLY
A capacitor assembly comprises a plurality of capacitor elements (e.g., four or more capacitor elements) each having a first end surface and a second end surface defining a first polarity terminal and a second polarity terminal, respectively. The plurality of capacitor elements are arranged in at least one stacked pair with a first polarity terminal of a first capacitor element in each stacked pair being opposed to a first polarity terminal of a second capacitor element in such stacked pair. The plurality of capacitor elements in this aspect are contained in a housing. A first polarity bus bar and a second polarity bus bar are electrically connected to the plurality of capacitor elements. The plurality of capacitor elements may be connected in parallel.
ELECTRONIC COMPONENT, ELECTRONIC COMPONENT MANUFACTURING METHOD, CAPACITOR, AND CAPACITOR MANUFACTURING METHOD
An electronic component includes an electronic component element and a barrier film. The electronic component element has external electrodes at both ends thereof. The barrier film covers at least a part of a periphery of the electronic component element. The barrier film includes an insulating film having electrical insulating property and a clay layer containing clay.

DIELECTRIC FILM, FILM CAPACITOR AND CONNECTED CAPACITOR INCLUDING DIELECTRIC FILM, INVERTER, AND ELECTRIC VEHICLE
A dielectric film includes a substrate being a film including a resin material, and a plurality of microscopic members on a first surface of the substrate. Each of the plurality of microscopic members includes a first portion spaced from the first surface, and a second portion extending from the first surface and supporting the first portion.

CAPACITOR AND METHOD FOR MANUFACTURING SAME
A second busbar is provided that has a second electrode terminal and a second connection terminal. A first busbar is provided that has a first electrode terminal, a lateral side coupler, an overhang, and a first connection terminal. The first electrode terminal and/or the second electrode terminal has a protruding piece for connection (connecting protrusion). This protruding piece is elastically depressible in response to contact with an electrode surface of a capacitor element unit inserted from an opposite side of the lateral side coupler across a space between the first and second electrode terminals.
FILM CAPACITOR
A film capacitor includes first and second contact layers and a metallized dielectric film with first and second end faces and with first and second film sides. The first end face of the metallized dielectric film is connected to the first contact layer and the second end face is connected to the second contact layer. The metallized dielectric film has first, second and third metallization layers, with at least two of the metallization layers applied on the first film side of the metallized dielectric film and at least a further of the metallization layers applied on the second film side. The metallization layers are arranged on the film sides in such a manner that a first overlap with a first partial capacitance and a second overlap with a second partial capacitance are embodied between the metallization layers on the film sides, with the partial capacitances forming a series connection.
