Method of modifying an aircraft switch
Improvements a modified aircraft switch to protect from Foreign Object Debris (FOD) failure. The aircraft switch is manufactured from the factory as a new OEM switch, but can also be modified from a pre-existing switch. The switch and method to modify a switch to protect a widely used existing switch in military and commercial aircraft that is failing from Foreign Object Debris intrusion and failure from FOD.
Oversized novelty wall switch
An operational oversized wall switch cover assembly is is designed to be installed over an existing switch without removing the switch's wall plate. The assembly includes linkage that facilitates the turning off or on of the existing switch by moving an oversized toggle between off and on positions. The assembly is customizable using a variety of different colored components for the cover, slide trim plate and toggle. Further, the assembly's cover provides a significant area to imprint indicia thereon, such as logos of a favorite sports team or a child's favorite cartoon characters.
Modular circuit breaker and method of assembling
A modular circuit breaker includes a module assembly coupled to a primary assembly. The primary assembly includes a primary housing, separable contacts disposed therein, a first terminal conductor electrically connected to one of the separable contacts, a conductive tab electrically connected to another one of the separable contacts and which extends outward from a first end of the primary housing, an operating mechanism disposed in the primary housing for selectively opening and closing the separable contacts, and a trip mechanism disposed in the primary housing cooperative with the operating mechanism to trip open the separable contacts. The module assembly includes a module housing having a second terminal conductor positioned therein and electrically connected to the conductive tab, a third terminal conductor structured to be electrically connected to a neutral conductor of a load, and a fourth terminal conductor structured to be coupled to a neutral bus.
Electrical apparatus for disconnecting an electrical current
A disconnecting electrical apparatus includes a disconnecting block, including elements for disconnecting an electric current each able to be actuated with a coupling member, to switch this disconnecting element to a blocking state or a state allowing the electric current to pass, an actuator block, provided with a controllable electromagnet suitable for generating an electromagnetic force, a mobile container provided with a magnetic plate, which displaces the coupling members, under the effect of the electromagnetic force, so as to switch the disconnecting elements. The apparatus also includes a connection interface inserted between the disconnecting block and the actuator block, the mobile container being housed inside the connection interface.
Push-button switch capable of adjusting output power
A push-button switch capable of adjusting output power includes a housing. The housing includes a contact assembly and a power adjustment assembly therein. The contact assembly includes an upper terminal, a lower terminal and a connecting elastic plate below the upper terminal. A support seat is provided in the housing. An upper end of the support seat is provided with a first bracket. The first bracket is inserted through the connecting elastic plate. The first bracket is provided with a first slot. One end of the connecting elastic plate is fixedly connected to the upper terminal. Another end of the connecting elastic plate is engaged with the first slot. A drive mechanism is provided above the connecting elastic plate for driving the connecting elastic plate downward. The push-button switch has an ergonomic design.
Oversized Novelty Wall Switch
An operational oversized wall switch cover assembly is described. The assembly is designed to be installed over an existing switch without removing the switch's wall plate. The assembly includes linkage that facilitates the turning off or on of the existing switch by moving an oversized toggle between off and on positions. The assembly is customizable using a variety of different colored components for the cover, slide trim plate and toggle. Further, the assembly's cover comprises a significant area providing significant space to imprint indicia, such as logos of a favorite sports team or a child's favorite cartoon characters.
AUXILIARY SWITCH
An auxiliary switch includes a housing including a first housing part and a second housing part separate from and releasably connected to the first housing part. A printed circuit board is fixedly mounted within the housing and has an electrical pad and an electrical contact connected to the electrical pad. A terminal conductor is electrically connected to the printed circuit board. An actuator mechanism is mounted within the housing and has an electrical contactor engaged to the terminal conductor. The actuator mechanism is configured to move within the housing and at least partially displace the electrical contact while maintaining engagement between the contactor and the terminal conductor.
ELECTRICAL DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM
Electrical distribution systems and methods comprising a first cable-to-box connector which accepts electrical wires, a first electrical box having a first and a second coupler to connect to the cable-to-box connector; intra-box circuits built in one or more of a plurality of walls of the first electrical box and connecting the first and the second coupler; and a concavity defined by the plurality of walls of the first electrical box that receives a first electrical insert
