COSMETIC
The present invention addresses the problem of providing a silicone-free cosmetic containing no silicone compounds, not only in a surface treatment agent for a powder, but also in the cosmetic itself, wherein the cosmetic has excellent powder dispersibility, has a stable and clear appearance, and also has a good texture in use. The present invention relates to a cosmetic containing (A) a powder that is surface-treated with a surface treatment agent including at least two types of treatment agents, one of the at least two types of treatment agents being an N-acyl amino acid or a salt thereof; and (B) at least one type of surfactant selected from among polyglycerol esters of fatty acids; wherein the cosmetic does not contain a silicone compound.
ANTIPERSPIRANT COMPOSITION
Various aspects disclosed relate to an antiperspirant composition. The antiperspirant composition includes an isododecane component; an alkyl benzoate component; and a neopentyl glycol diheptanoate component.
Shear-Thinning Cosmetic Composition
The present invention relates to a shear-thinning or pseudoplastic cosmetic composition. Zeta potentials may be balanced such that a first ratio of the first zeta potential to the second zeta potential may be approximately 1:2. A second ratio of the first zeta potential to the third zeta potential may be approximately 1:2. And, a third ratio of the second zeta potential to the third zeta potential may be approximately 1:1. Balancing zeta potentials may ensure the shear-thinning cosmetic composition can dispense in its original viscous form and as a fine mist through a single device.
PARTICULARLY NATURAL OIL SUBSTITUTE FOR COSMETIC PREPARATIONS
Use of a mixture of a) hydroxypropyl starch phosphate (INCI: Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate) and b) esters of caprylic acid and/or capric acid as a substitute for mineral oils and silicone oils in cosmetic preparations and to their use in cosmetic preparations.
PARTICULARLY NATURAL OIL SUBSTITUTE FOR COSMETIC PREPARATIONS
Use of a mixture of a) hydroxypropyl starch phosphate (INCI: Hydroxypropyl Starch Phosphate) and b) vegetable oils as a substitute for mineral oils and silicone oils in cosmetic preparations and use thereof in cosmetic preparations.
SILICONE SUBSTITUTE NATURAL ADDITIVE COMPOSITION, PROCESS FOR OBTAINING THE SAME AND ITS USE
A natural additive composition capable of replacing silicone components in a wide variety of types of application, preferably in the field of cosmetic, veterinary cosmetic, dermocosmetic products has, in terms of percent by weight of the total weight of the composition: (a) 0.5% to 80% polysaccharides, monosaccharides and derivatives thereof; (b) 10% to 99.5% monohydric alcohols, polyhydric alcohols, unsaturated aliphatic alcohols, glycerides; and (c) 0% to 40% components depending on the type of application, which can be abrasives, emollients, rheology modifiers, moisture absorbers, etc.
Cosmetic composition comprising anionic surfactants, amphoteric surfac-tants, cationic polymers and liquid fatty substances chosen from fatty alco-hols and fatty esters, and cosmetic treatment process
Cosmetic composition comprising anionic surfactants, amphoteric surfactants, cationic polymers and liquid fatty substances chosen from fatty alcohols and fatty esters, and cosmetic treatment process The present invention relates to a cosmetic composition, especially a hair composition, comprising: —one or more anionic surfactants, —one or more amphoteric surfactants, —one or more cationic polymers with a high cationic charge density, —one or more liquid fatty substances chosen from non-oxyalkylenated fatty alcohols and monocarboxylic fatty acid esters, and also mixtures thereof. The invention also relates to a cosmetic process for treating, and more particularly for washing and conditioning, keratin materials, especially the hair, using the present composition.
Leave-on hair styling compositions and methods of use
The present disclosure relates to leave-on hair styling compositions, and to methods for styling hair using the compositions. The leave-on hair styling compositions include: (a) pullulan; (b) one or more cellulose ethers; (c) one or more water-soluble solvents; and (d) water. The leave-on hair styling compositions are unique in that they impart durable styling or shaping benefits, volume and fullness, smoothness, shine, texture, control fizziness, and provide overnight style, without the need for silicones and/or synthetic film forming polymers.
CLEANSING COMPOSITIONS
Shampoo composition including about 6 wt. % or more of one or more betaine surfactants; about 5 wt. % or less of one or more anionic surfactants; about 0.1 wt. % to about 10 wt. % of one or more fatty amine surfactants; about 0.1 to about 15 wt. % of one or more nonionic surfactants, wherein at least one of the one or more nonionic surfactants is selected from alkoxylated fatty alcohols, polyethylene glycol ethers of fatty alcohols, or a mixture thereof; and water, wherein all weight percentages are based on the total weight of the shampoo composition. The shampoo compositions typically have a weight ratio of the total amount of the one or more betaine surfactants to the total amount of the one or more anionic surfactants, the one or more fatty amine surfactants, and the one or more nonionic surfactants that is 0.8:1 to 5:1 and are typically substantially free of anionic sulfate surfactants and silicones.
METHOD AND SYSTEM FOR REMOVING MAKEUP
A method and system or kit is provided, where makeup containing an alkane and a styrenic block copolymer can be easily removed if a separate makeup-removing composition that includes an alkane and a low viscosity dimethicone (having a viscosity of 60,000 cst or less) is applied. The dimethicone in this viscosity range causes the styrenic block copolymer to gel. After allowing a short period of time for the gelling to occur, the gelled copolymer and the remainder of the makeup can then be readily removed.
