Universal respiratory equipment cap
This invention provides a universal respiratory equipment cap which can be used to effectively block a number of different medical devices used in the respiratory care units of hospitals, EMT vehicles and the like. The cap has a small end and a large end, each with blocks or plugs of different diameters. A middle section has a flange which is tapered, thereby allowing for the blocking of additional diameters of tubes and devices. The flange creates two cavities into which anti-bacterial pads can be inserted to further enhance the effectiveness of the device.
Transport hood having perforations
A transport hood protects conveying personnel from exposure to blood and body fluids of a detainee and avoids discomfort and breathing difficulty to the detainee if the blood and body fluids accumulate and are retained within the transport hood. The transport hood includes a top portion made of an open mesh material that is positioned over the head of the detainee to below the eyes of the detainee. A bottom portion made of a breathable material impervious to the blood and body fluids of the detainee is joined to the top portion below the eyes of the detainee and extends downwardly to below the chin of the detainee. The bottom portion has a plurality of perforations formed through the breathable material that allow the blood and body fluids issued by the detainee to drain from the bottom portion of the transport hood under the influence of gravity.
Disposable Sanitary Lining for Millinery
A disposable sanitary lining for millinery is provided. The disposable sanitary lining according to the current application provides a thin and temporary barrier between fore-head/hair of a trial wearer and inner surface of a hat/cap. The disposable sanitary lining according to the current application prevents soiling of the inner surface and brim of a hat/cap at the same time by sweat and cosmetics of customer who just try a hat or cap displayed on a millinery store. The disposable sanitary lining according to the current application comprises of one piece of sheet of, including but not limited to, paper, plastic and fabrics, whose thickness is less than 1 mm. The disposable sanitary lining according to the current application is not attached inside of the hat/cap wall but worn on the head of a customer who tries displayed hats/caps to find one to buy.
Surgical cap and method
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a surgical cap is provided that includes a cover having a head-receiving cavity and a resilient member connected to the cover and extending about less than the entire head-receiving cavity. The cover includes a plurality of layers comprising at least one layer inward from the resilient member adapted to separate the resilient member from a head received in the head-receiving cavity and at least two outer layers outward from the resilient member to which the resilient member is secured. In accordance with another aspect, a method of fabricating a surgical cap is provided.
Surgical cap and method
In accordance with one aspect of the present disclosure, a surgical cap is provided that includes a cover having a head-receiving cavity and a resilient member connected to the cover and extending about less than the entire head-receiving cavity. The cover includes a plurality of layers comprising at least one layer inward from the resilient member adapted to separate the resilient member from a head received in the head-receiving cavity and at least two outer layers outward from the resilient member to which the resilient member is secured. In accordance with another aspect, a method of fabricating a surgical cap is provided.
Hat
Provided is a hat formed from a single piece of fabric. The single piece of fabric comprises parallel regions of fabric including first and second headband regions and at least one intermediate region. The headband regions are joined at their ends to form a headband and the intermediate region forms the crown of the hat. The headband regions and the at least one intermediate region are of differing stiffness and/or thickness.

The present disclosure discloses a headwear. The headwear may include an interior surface and an exterior surface. The interior surface is configured to face a user's head, and the exterior surface is disposed opposite to the interior surface. The headwear may further include an anti-microbial fabric liner that may be removably attached to the interior surface of the headwear.

The inner layer is constructed from 100 percent mulberry silk and minimizes hair damage, preserves moisture, and aids temperature regulation. The inner layer may also have a protective finish to maintain its properties after washing. An integrated sweatband between the layers, made from absorbent fabrics, manages moisture and may include antimicrobial treatments to ensure hygiene. Additionally, the cap incorporates a customizable fastening system with options such as ties, elastic bands, and hook-and-loop straps.
