User-defined network congestion monitoring system
A method includes causing, by a processor, a graphical user interface (GUI) to be output by a display. The GUI includes a first user input field identifying a target key performance indicator (KPI) associated with a network. A second user input field identifying a KPI peak-usage frequency. A third user input field identifying a peak-usage relationship. The method also includes creating a first monitoring profile based on the target KPI for the KPI peak-usage frequency for the peak-usage relationship. Storing the first monitoring profile. Monitoring the target KPI for the KPI peak-usage frequency based on the first monitoring profile. Collecting target KPI data over a period defined by the KPI peak-usage frequency. Determining a peak-usage during the period defined by the KPI peak-usage frequency based on the collected target KPI data. Periodically reporting peak-usage data based on the first monitoring profile.
OTA System Software Upgrade Control Method and Terminal Device
In an embodiment an over the air (OTA )system software upgrade control method includes accessing, by a terminal device, an OTA server, and obtaining version information of a target system software upgrade package that is on the OTA server and whose version is later than a current system software version of the terminal device, requesting, by the terminal device, from a management device, authorization information corresponding to the version information of the target system software upgrade package, determining, by the terminal device in response to the authorization information that is received from the management device and that corresponds to the version information of the target system software upgrade package, that the target system software upgrade package is obtainable from the OTA server, and obtaining the target system software upgrade package from the OTA server, wherein the authorization information indicates whether the terminal device is allowed to obtain the target system software upgrade package from the OTA server.
Computer Technology For Security Enforcement During Edge Computations
Computer technology that each edge computing device has appropriate security software, and associated configuration thereof, to be included in edge computing system deployment having a predetermined security level. The types of security software may include encryption/decryption software, encryption/decryption key handling software and/or security load sharing software. The edge computing devices may include unmanned aerial vehicles and/or other unmanned transport vehicles (for example, wheeled ground vehicles) to transport the respective edge computing devices into physical proximity with the client device that will be using the edge computing system deployment.
Network data extraction parser-model in SDN
A parser model may be used with software-defined applications or controllers. A network topology may be detected and based on the change in the network topology, a network device may filter certain network data traffic for processing by a software-defined network controller.
Dynamically deployable self configuring distributed network management system
Systems, software, and methods for managing networks of connected electronic devices are described. In one example, network management policy and network management applications are transferred automatically upon detection and identification of a new device, protocol or application on the network. In another example, information related to at least one aspect of the network is obtained by an NMAS, and at least one applicable management policy is identified by the NMAS; and the identified policy is used to manage at least one aspect of the network's operation.
Management apparatus and management method
A manager creates agent information and provides a download page for an installer. In a case where the downloaded installer is activated in a host computer, agent installation processing is executed according to input work for setting information for connection with the manager by a user. Further, in a case where creation of the agent in its own apparatus is instructed, the manager creates, in the apparatus in which the manager operates, an agent in which the setting information for connection with the manager has been set, without the input work by the user that is necessary for the above-described installation processing using the installer.
Processing Multimodal User Input for Assistant Systems
In one embodiment, a method includes receiving at a head-mounted device a speech input from a user and a visual input captured by cameras of the head-mounted device, wherein the visual input comprises subjects and attributes associated with the subjects, and wherein the speech input comprises a co-reference to one or more of the subjects, resolving entities corresponding to the subjects associated with the co-reference based on the attributes and the co-reference, and presenting a communication content responsive to the speech input and the visual input at the head-mounted device, wherein the communication content comprises information associated with executing results of tasks corresponding to the resolved entities.
Determining customized software recommendations for network devices
Techniques for receiving operational preferences for operating network devices, and determining software updates for the network devices based on the operational preferences. A recommendation system may determine a group of network devices in a device network based on the network devices in the group performing a common functional role or have common attributes. The recommendation engine may further receive the operational preferences for the group of network devices from a user associated with the device network. These operational preferences may be continuously, or periodically, evaluated against actual operating conditions of the group of network devices to determine whether a risk metric associated with the actual operation conditions violates an operational preference. In some instances, the recommendation system may provide the user with access to a recommendation to run updated software that is more optimized for the network device and that satisfies the operational preferences of the user.
CONFIGURING A SOFTWARE AS-A-SERVICE PLATFORM FOR REMOTELY MANAGING A CLOUD APPLICATION
Examples described herein relate to a configuration manager for configuring a cloud application at a SaaS platform. The configuration manager is hosted on a cloud platform separate from a tenant site. The configuration manager receives a request for enabling remote management of the cloud application hosted on the tenant site. The configuration manager determines configuration content applicable for the cloud application from a configuration repository and configures the SaaS platform for remotely managing the cloud application based on the configuration content. The SaaS platform is a service associated with a management tooling used at the tenant site. The management tooling may be a monitoring tooling or a logging tooling. Once configured, the SaaS platform receives monitoring data or logging data from the infrastructure at the tenant site.
INTENT-BASED, NETWORK-AWARE NETWORK DEVICE SOFTWARE-UPGRADE SCHEDULING
A controller device manages a plurality of network devices. The controller device includes one or more processing units configured to receive an upgrade request; obtain a redundancy model indicating network device redundancies or service redundancies; determine, based on the upgrade request and the redundancy model, an update graph having nodes each representing one of the network devices or one of the services, the update graph also having at least one edge that connects two of the nodes and that indicates the network redundancy or the service redundancy; determine, based on the update graph including the at least one edge, an update schedule for performing an update of software for the network devices that ensures availability for the first network device or second network device or availability for the service; and update the software of each of the network devices according to the update schedule.
