On device device driver
I, Emile Michel Hobo, born Jul. 5, 1980 in The Hague, The Netherlands, sole inventor, hereby request a patent for the design of an On Device Device Driver, which through establishing a connection to a device grants instant use of that device.
Serial Communication Tapping and Transmission to Routable Networks
Apparatuses and methods for tapping serial communications and transforming the serial data into a format appropriate for routable networks are significant for purposes of security and troubleshooting, especially in critical infrastructure networks. Communication taps should be completely passive such that any failure would not interrupt the serial communications. Furthermore, automatic determination of unspecified serial protocol frames allow general implementation across various networks, or across devices within a single network, without the need to customize for each implementation.
Reception apparatus, reception method, transmission apparatus, and transmission method for indicating presence or absence of signaling information in a payload of a packet
[Object] The present technology relates to a reception apparatus, a reception method, a transmission apparatus, and a transmission method that enable more flexible operations to be performed. [Solving Means] A reception apparatus receives a content transmitted in an IP transmission system, acquires, based on first control information that is transmitted in a first layer in a protocol stack of the IP transmission system and includes information indicating whether second control information transmitted in a second layer higher than the first layer exists, the second control information, and controls operations of units that process the content based on the second control information. The present technology is applicable to television receivers supporting the IP transmission system.
Method and apparatus for transmitting/receiving packet in multimedia system
Disclosed is a method by which a multimedia device processes a multimedia packet. To this end, a multimedia packet, which comprises a header including a type information field having type information recorded therein, and a payload including data of a type indicated by the type information, is received, and, when it is recognized that null data is not included in the payload by the type information, the data included in the payload may be processed.
Communication data modeling method
The present invention relates to a communication data modeling method. The communication data modeling method according to one embodiment of the present invention comprises the steps of: identifying a service list of an electronic device; making a first communication data sheet for communication protocol standards of the electronic device; making a second communication data sheet for products related to the electronic device; making a final communication data sheet by combining the first communication data sheet and the second communication data sheet; and creating a communication data model on the basis of the final communication data sheet.
SYSTEM AND A METHOD IMPLEMENTING A DIRECTED ACYCLIC GRAPH (DAG) CONSENSUS ALGORITHM VIA A GOSSIP PROTOCOL
The invention relates to a computer-implemented method for exchanging information, through a DAG/Hashgraph consensus algorithm via a gossip protocol, the method includes making a first given node select a second given node randomly and send reference information; determining based on the reference information which node events are in front of that of the others; if the reference information implies that the events of the first given node is in front of that of the second given node, then sending a cancellation information to the first given node, preventing, in consequence, the first given node from sending DAG-event information to the second given node; if the reference information implies that the events of the second given node is in front of that of the first given node, then making the first given node send DAG-event information to the second given node; and soon through the network.
SYSTEM FOR GENERATING PLATFORM SPECIFIC PROTOCOLS FOR CONTROLLING CONDITIONAL RESOURCE DISTRIBUTION IN A DISTRIBUTED NETWORK ENVIRONMENT
A system is provided for generating protocols for conditional resource distribution. The system is configured to: insert a validator node to the distributed trust computing network, the validator node being configured to execute and, with the decentralized nodes, verify resource transfers stored on the distributed register, the validator node being further configured to generate protocols for monitoring and executing conditional resource transfers; receive a request for a conditional resource transfer between a first storage location and a second storage location, the conditional resource transfer defining a condition for triggering the conditional resource transfer; in response to receiving the request, generate, via the validator node, a protocol for monitoring and executing the conditional resource transfer; determine, via the validator node, that the condition has been completed; and in response to the condition having been completed, execute the conditional resource transfer.

STREAMING POLICY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM AND METHOD
A streaming policy management system and method wherein bandwidth may be allocated based on external device information received from a streaming client device connected to one or more external audio/video (A/V) devices. When a streaming network back office receives a request from the streaming client device for delivery of a particular content, wherein the request includes external device information of one or more external A/V devices connected to the streaming client device, a bandwidth is determined for streaming the particular content to the streaming client device and a request may be made to a content delivery network to create a distribution pipe having the bandwidth to accommodate the delivery of the particular content. A manifest file is provided to the streaming client device that includes one or more pointers that point to content segments of the particular content.
Packet data unit (PDU) structure for supporting distributed relay control protocol (DRCP)
A method supporting distributed resilient network interconnect (DRNI) in a link aggregation group at a network device is disclosed. The method starts with encapsulating a distributed relay control protocol data unit (DRCPDU) in a frame, wherein the DRCPDU includes a protocol data unit (PDU) structure. The PDU structure includes a type field indicating that the DRCPDU is for DRCP, a version field indicating a version number of the DRCP, and a set of type/length/values (TLVs) including: a terminator TLV indicating an end of the PDU structure, a portal information TLV indicating characteristics of the first portal, a portal configuration information TLV indicating configuration information of the first portal, a DRCP state TLV indicating variables associated with an intra-portal link (IPP), a home ports information TLV and a neighbor ports information TLV. The method continues with transmitting the frame encapsulating the DRCPDU from the network device to a neighbor network device.
