DEVICE AND METHOD FOR CONNECTING A SERVICE-ORIENTED DEVICE TO A SIGNAL-BASED DEVICE
A device for service-oriented communication with a signal-based hardware architecture. The device comprises a number of service-oriented communication interfaces for communicative connection to a number of external service-oriented communication partners, a number of signal-based communication interfaces for communication with a number of external signal-based devices, and an embedded system. The embedded system is configured to communicatively connect respective signal-based communication interfaces to respective service-oriented communication interfaces according to a predefined routing logic, and to transform signal-based communication signals, provided by the respective signal-based communication interfaces, into service-oriented communication signals according to a service-oriented communication protocol, and to transform service-oriented communication signals, provided by the respective service-oriented communication interfaces, into signal-based communication signals according to a signal-based communication protocol.
METHOD FOR DIAGNOSING A VEHICLE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM OF A VEHICLE
A method for diagnosing a vehicle electrical system of a vehicle including a plurality of intercommunicating arithmetic logic units. A diagnostic application is executed on one arithmetic logic unit of the plurality of arithmetic logic units. The diagnostic application receives a diagnostic inquiry from an external diagnostic unit. The diagnostic inquiry is analyzed by the diagnostic application. Based on the content of the diagnostic inquiry, the diagnostic application sends data to at least one arithmetic logic unit and/or sends a diagnostic response to the external diagnostic unit.
SYSTEMS AND METHODS OF MANAGING HARDWARE SYSTEMS IN A RETAIL POINT-OF-SALE MANAGEMENT NETWORK
In some embodiments, systems and methods are provided a retail point-of-sale (POS) hardware management system, comprising: an intermediary system control circuit configured to execute computer program modules comprising a hardware management module configured to operate as an intermediary module between multiple different sets of client POS systems, a plurality of different sets of hardware systems configured to be engaged by the client POS systems, and a plurality of shared resource applications; the hardware management module comprising a plurality of hardware manager sub-modules each corresponding to one of the sets of hardware systems; each of the hardware manager sub-module is configured to output communications and receive communications in accordance with a single predefined hardware communications protocol, of a set of a plurality of predefined hardware communications protocols, corresponding to the set of hardware systems regardless of a type of hardware system or manufacturer.
Packet edit processing method and related device
A method, including obtaining a first protocol descriptor according to a protocol header field of an input packet, and further according to a preset protocol field mapping relationship, where the first protocol descriptor corresponds to the protocol header field of the input packet, and where the preset protocol field mapping relationship comprises a mapping relationship between the first protocol descriptor and the protocol field of the input packet, obtaining a second protocol descriptor according to the first protocol descriptor, obtaining, according to the preset protocol field mapping relationship and the second protocol descriptor, a second protocol header field, and obtaining an output packet, where the output packet comprises the second protocol header field.

Systems and methods of communicating electronic data transaction updates to client computer systems
A computer system is provided that includes a storage system, at least one transceiver, and a processing system with at least one hardware processor. The storage system stores a first list pair. The transceiver receives electronic data messages that each include a respective data transaction request. The processing system determines how the new data transaction request should be processed based on which communication protocol was used to submit the request. Updates regarding the first list pair are sent out to non-party client computer systems using different communication protocols, where one is faster than the other, but the slower update includes private data therein.

Processing data in a network
A method of processing data in a network is disclosed. The method comprises transmitting, from a first server to a second server, first information characterising a first predefined format according to which first data is stored at a first data store; obtaining, at the second server, mapping information characterising a mapping of the first predefined format onto a second predefined format different to the first predefined format; generating, at the second server, based on the first information and the mapping information, second information for converting data in the first predefined format into data in the second predefined format; transmitting, from the second server to the first server, the second information; and parsing, at the first server, using the second information, the first data stored at the first data store, to generate data in the second predefined format. Apparatuses are also disclosed.
