The method further includes applying the configuration to the second action using the retrieved metadata.

The group communication service transmits discovery data that is provided to a relevant group of the communication nodes, such as those within a selected range of the request node. Other nodes that wish to form a communication group send election responses to the group communication service, which then establishes the communication group. In some implementations the requesting node transmits the discovery data received from the group communication service to other communication nodes using low-energy transmissions. In some implementations the group communication service transmits the discovery data to local communication nodes located within a proximity range of the requesting node.

A method begins by a first computing device determining a routing plan to route a set of encoded data slices from the first computing device to a second computing device via a plurality of network paths of a communications network. The method continues with the second computing device receiving encoded data slices via one or more network paths. When the second computing device receives a decode threshold number of encoded data slices, the method continues with the second computing device sending a message to the communications network indicating receipt of the decode threshold number of encoded data slices. The method continues with a relay unit determining whether the relay unit is in possession of a not-yet delivered encoded data slice. When the relay unit is in possession of the not-yet delivered encoded data slice, the method continues with the relay unit ceasing forwarding of the not-yet delivered encoded data slice.

An example apparatus includes: at least one memory; instructions in the apparatus; and processor circuitry to execute the instructions to: generate a blueprint including components of requested cloud resources and their relationships; provide an allocation flag to the blueprint, the allocation flag indicating the requested cloud resources are to be partially provisioned; transmit a first provisioning request to a cloud management platform, the cloud management platform to manage a plurality of cloud resources; and in response to the cloud management platform selecting cloud resources, transmit a second provisioning request to fully provision the selected cloud resources, the second provisioning request including constraints specific to the selected cloud resources.

A method and apparatus for providing information relating to delivery of a service from a server to a mobile device. A node in a Radio Access Network (RAN) receives from an interaction device an instruction message indicating that the mobile device is authorised to exchange service delivery information relating to delivery of the service from the server to the mobile device with the node in the RAN. The node can then exchange service delivery information with the mobile device. The interaction device need not maintain state, as it simply authorises the mobile device to interact directly with the node in the RAN. Furthermore, signalling between the interaction device and the node in the RAN is reduced.
