Method for downloading a message client and authenticating a mobile phone number
A method may comprise downloading a message client on a first mobile wireless device and authenticating, via the message client and the first mobile wireless device, a first mobile phone number of the first mobile wireless device to a service for transmitting and receiving packet switched messages. The authenticating may be performed via an SMS protocol. The method may further comprise transmitting, after the authenticating, a request including at least information corresponding to a second mobile phone number of a second mobile wireless device, to determine whether the second mobile wireless device corresponds to a subscriber of the service. A response to the request may be received indicating that the second mobile wireless device corresponds to a subscriber of the service. A message format of the service may not be an SMS message format, a MMS message format or an EMS message format.
Social network onboarding
Techniques are described that determine a user to participate in software testing of a social network application and/or service and to enable the user to propagate an invitation to contacts of the user to participate in the software testing of the social network application. In some examples, the user may be provided a message via an inbox of a first service including the invitation and a selectable option to install an application associated with a second service. In some, examples, the user may be sent a list of contacts from which the user may select other users to also participate in the software testing of the social network application. In some examples, responsive to the user's selection, a message may be sent to an inbox of the selected contacts that contains an invitation to participate in the beta version of the social network application.
HANDLING DEFERRABLE NETWORK REQUESTS
Embodiments of the present invention provide methods, computer program products, and systems. Embodiments of the present invention can identify a network request as being deferrable and embed data of the deferrable network request within a header of a suitable carrier network request for sending to a remote server. Embodiments of the present invention can receive a carrier network request with embedded data of a deferrable network request within a header of the carrier network request. Embodiments of the present invention can then parse the embedded data from the header into a separate request message for actioning at the server.
RAN-assisted rate adaptation
A base station transmits a rate recommendation to a first user equipment (UE) device. The rate recommendation is to be used for a Voice over Long-Term Evolution (VoLTE) call between the first UE device and a second UE device. In some instances, the first UE device and the second UE device negotiate the rate to be used for the VoLTE call, based on the rate recommended by the base station. If the negotiated rate is supported by the base station and/or matches a supported codec rate, the UE devices implement the rate and provide rate feedback to the base station.
Apparatus for transmitting broadcast signals, apparatus for receiving broadcast signals, method for transmitting broadcast signals and method for receiving broadcast signals
An apparatus for receiving a broadcast signal, includes a receiver configured to receive the broadcast signal, a parser configured to parse signaling information for a service scan included in the broadcast signal, a link layer processor configured to process a link layer packet included in the broadcast signal, and an audio/video (A/V) processor configured to present broadcast contents based on the signaling information for the service scan and the link layer packet.
CENTRALIZED MANAGEMENT OF DATA FLOW MAPS FOR DISTRIBUTED EDGE NODE DEPLOYMENT
A computing system to generate models of managed devices and applications in an Internet of Things (IOT) system by identifying each endpoint in the managed devices and applications capable of transmitting or receiving the data and defining flows for data from the endpoints in sensors to endpoints of IOT servers via endpoints of the programmable edge device applications. The computing system can develop a data flow map to define a connectivity of the programmable edge device applications to the sensors C and the servers in the IOT system for exchanging the data from the sensors to the servers in the IOT system via the programmable edge device applications. The computing system can prompt configuration of the managed devices and applications in the IOT system based on the data flow map, which implements the connectivity of the programmable edge device applications to the sensors and to servers in the IOT system.
Techniques for communication process flow approval management
Methods, systems, apparatuses, devices, and computer program products are described. A communication platform may receive a first request indicating a first data object comprising metadata associated with an update to an action of a communication process flow. The metadata may indicate that a user with particular permissions is to approve the update. The communication platform may post an entry displaying the metadata and configured to receive an indication of approval of the update from the user. The communication platform may receive an indication of the approval from the user, for example via a user interface component. The communication platform may generate a second data object indicating the action and the user, ensuring that the update was successfully approved, and transmit a second request to a communication process flow management service supporting the communication process flow, the second request including the second object and configured to activate the update.

IMAGE PROCESSING METHOD AND APPARATUS, DEVICE AND STORAGE MEDIUM
An image processing method includes: receiving request information used for transmitting target data and sent by the external module based on a pre-established communication connection, in which the communication connection is established based on a hardware specification of the external module; determining a transmission parameter of the target data based on the request information; and receiving the target data transmitted by the external module based on the transmission parameter.
METHOD FOR SUPPORTING TIME SENSITIVE COMMUNICATION AND COMMUNICATIONS DEVICE
A method for supporting time-sensitive communication and a communications device are provided. The method for supporting time-sensitive communication applied to a first communications device includes: transmitting first information and/or second information; where the first information includes at least one of the following: first capability information of a terminal UE and information related to a delay between the UE or a radio access network (RAN) network element; and the second information includes at least one of the following: a type of the UE, a type of time-sensitive networking, or indication information of whether time-sensitive data stream configuration information is required.
