Disclosed is an incoming call processing method for a dual-card and dual-system terminal. A first operating system receives an incoming call of a first SIM card; a second operating system triggers an event to notify the first operating system of an incoming call of a second SIM card upon receiving the same; the first or second operating system partitions a display screen into first and second display regions; and the first operating system displays an operating interface of the SIM card corresponding to the first operating system in the first display region, and triggers an event to notify the second operating system of display in the second display region; or the second operating system displays an operating interface of the SIM card corresponding to the second operating system in the second display region, and triggers an event to notify the first operating system of display in the first display region.

Attaching multiple phone lines to a single mobile or landline phone

Agencies issue multiple devices to personnel for maintaining distinct identities over the course of assigned investigations. To provide flexible capabilities to agencies, a phone is converted for use with multiple attached telephone numbers. Accordingly, a single phone may be used to manage multiple identities over the course of one or more investigations. Using a multiple attached number, a given device can place and receive calls over the network to and from contacts. In addition to providing multiple attached numbers, calls using the multiple attached numbers may be monitored live and recorded to establish evidence.

Call alert options

A device including a processor and a memory that includes instructions that, when executed by the processor, cause the processor to perform operations. The operations include receiving an indication that a plurality of call alert options are authorized by a second device. The operations also include receiving input selecting a call alert option of the plurality of call alert options. The operations further include sending a call request from the first device to the second device, wherein the call request includes data related to the call alert option.

Technologies for handling a call based on user identification include determining a personal profile identification for a user of a communal mobile communication device and initiating a call to a personal communication device using a phone number of the personal communication device and the personal profile identification. The personal communication device may apply a call treatment to the incoming call based on the personal profile identification. Additionally, the personal communication device may originate a call to a call recipient of the communal mobile communication device using a personal profile identification to identify the call recipient. The communal mobile communication device may apply a call treatment to the incoming call based on the personal profile identification.

Instant activation and provisioning for telecommunication services on a mobile device

Methods and systems for instant activation of virtual PBX services on a mobile device are disclosed. In one aspect, a user request for activating virtual PBX services is received on a mobile device. An available primary identification number for the virtual PBX services is retrieved from a telecommunication service provider (TSP). A user interface is presented on the mobile device including a first interface portion presenting the available primary identification number and a second interface portion configured to receive a user identifier. Upon receiving the user input specifying the user identifier and while the user interface is still presented on the mobile device, a user instruction for activating the virtual PBX services is received. Upon receiving the user instruction, the user identifier is sent to the TSP. Then, a confirmation is received from the TSP.

Architecture that allows a user to control the way a connection is made to a destination. A destination can be tagged with an attribute that defines how the connection to that destination should be routed. For example, a phone address book allows the user not only to enter the usual call recipient information such as name and telephone number, but also to add an attribute in the form of a network identifier associated with a network that should be used when connecting to the destination. Where multiple networks are associated with the destination, the phone subsystem, recognizing that the destination now has multiple network IDs for connecting the call, can prompt the user to select the desired network pathway. The user can also tag the destination with a protocol that should be employed. Thus, not only will the phone be connected according to the network, but according to the protocol.

The present invention relates to a SIM multiplexing device that provides a mechanism for multiplexing multiple SIM cards into a single SIM device. The SIM Mux device interfaces to the host device via the host device's standard SIM slot. The SIM Mux application resides on the SIM Mux logic device and communicates with the device over the SIM slot's SIM I/O line using standard ISO-7816 messages. The SIM Mux application allows a user to select the active SIM slot via a SIM application interface and directs the logic device which SIM socket to activate on the shared SIM I/O line, thus enabling the user to utilize any one of the populated SIM cards at one time.

Systems and methods for providing alternate line selection information on a mobile device

A system and method for providing a user interface that allows users to change the active line on which an outgoing call may be placed. In example embodiments, upon detecting call screen interaction a line selection menu is displayed. The line selection menu contains a plurality of line identifiers, each line identifier uniquely identifying a corresponding one of the multiple communication lines accessible at the mobile device. A system and method is also presented for providing a call log for identifying call activity associated with a plurality of communication lines.
