Swim cap
This disclosure relates to a swim cap with a wall that can include a surface with a higher coefficient of friction (e.g., higher than conventional swim caps and/or higher than other surfaces of the swim cap). The surface finish can be positioned at various locations of an inner face of the swim cap, and in some examples, the surface finish is positioned near the edge of the swim cap (e.g., the terminal edge forming a perimeter around the head opening of the swim cap). In some examples, the band extending around the edge can be associated with a thicker wall of material, which can increase the modulus of elasticity and a tightness of the fit of the swim cap. The swim cap can include various materials, and in some examples, the swim cap comprises silicone.
HOODED GARMENT
A hooded garment having a lower portion and a head portion wherein the head portion is form fitting so as to allow a wearer to don a safety helmet. The garment is manufactured from a material having a first layer and a second layer integrally joined. The first layer is manufactured from a suitable moisture wicking fabric and is adjacent the wearer. The second layer of the material is manufactured from a suitable fire retardant material. The lower portion of the garment covers the torso and extends down to the waist of the user. The head portion is manufactured in a thickness that is less than that of the lower portion. The head portion includes a perimeter edge defining the face opening of the head portion. The perimeter edge includes lateral formations that are generally U-shaped proximate the eyes of the wearer so as to ensure maintenance of peripheral vision.

Hooded Garment Device
A hooded garment device includes a hooded garment which has a hood that can be worn over a user's head when the user is wearing the hooded garment. The hooded garment has an aperture extending through the hood to facilitate the user's longer hair to be extended through the aperture when the hood is worn over the user's head thereby enhancing fitment of the hood on the user's head. An elastomeric band is integrated into the hood which is positioned to surround the aperture. The elastomeric band biases the aperture into a minimum diameter to limit the passage of air through the aperture when the hood is worn over the user's head to assist with keeping the user's head warm.

ADAPTABLE EPAS HOODS FOR ACIDIC AND CONTAMINATED ENVIRONMENTS
A detachable hood provides head, neck, and chest protection from contaminating agents. The hood is composed of an anti-acid polyurethane fabric with polyester thread stitching and a polyurethane sealing band disposed on the stitching. The hood features a pair of elastic bands disposed on the polyurethane fabric that defines a 20 mm channel between them. A double-sided tape is disposed within the channel and is configured to adhere the fabric to the edge of a full-face mask to create a hermetic seal. In another embodiment, the hood includes a frontal opening, and the pair of elastic bands are disposed along its diameter, providing resistance and elasticity to the opening to allow for adaptation to different mask models.
