20230077709 · 2023-03-16 ·

Disinfection devices are provided which include an enclosure comprising an interior cavity, a closable loading port for providing access to the interior cavity, a cold plasma generator, a fan, a nebulizer and optionally a heating element to heat the interior cavity. In some cases, the cold plasma generator, the fan, and the nebulizer are arranged in the disinfection device such that plasma species generated by the cold plasma generator are routed to an area to which droplets formed by the nebulizer are discharged and the interior cavity is exposed to a mixture of the droplets and the plasma species. In some additional or alternative cases, the disinfection device includes an electronic control system comprising a processor and a storage medium comprising program instructions executable by the processor for terminating operation of the cold plasma generator after a set time period subsequent to terminating operation of the nebulizer.

DECONTAMINATION SYSTEM
20230078211 · 2023-03-16 ·

A decontamination system includes a housing having at least one inner surface defining a chamber. An irradiation system supplies ultraviolet germicidal irradiation (UVGI) to the chamber at a level effective to at least one of inactivate SARS-CoV-2 or inactivate at least 90% single-stranded RNA viruses present on an object positioned in the chamber in less than about 2 minutes.

Seal integrity indicators for sterilization containers

Indicators for indicating the integrity of a seal of a sterilization container are provided. For example, a seal indicator may indicate whether the container is sufficiently sealed to prevent an ingress of contaminants into the container. If the container is sufficiently sealed, the seal indicator is in one state and displays a first indicium, and if the sterilization container is not sufficiently sealed, the seal indicator is in another state and displays a second indicium. Thus, the seal indicator undergoes a visible change in state when the sterilization container transitions from unsealed to sealed, such that the user may be assured that the container is properly sealed to maintain sterility of the articles post-sterilization. Further, the seal indicator undergoes a visible change in state if the seal is subsequently broken, to signal to the user that the seal and the sterility of the container interior has been compromised.

Condensate drain valve

A drain valve for a sterile container includes: a valve housing; a bypass that connects a container gas volume with an external gas volume; a valve body that blocks the bypass; and an actuator that displaces the valve body between a passage position and a blocking position. The valve body is displaceable according to a temperature and/or a pressure of the bypass gas volume. The valve housing has: at least one holding web, at least part of which can be located in a holding bracket of the valve receptacle; and a closure. The valve housing is pivotable from an open position into an installation position in which the closure can be fixed to a closure receptacle. When the valve housing is transferred into the installation position, the valve body is transferred into the blocking position and subjected to a closure force.

CHARGING CASE FOR EARBUDS

A charging case having one or more charging docks for charging one or more earbuds. The charging case can further have UV LEDs for automatically sterilizing the earbuds while charging.

NON-CONTACT SAFETY RELAYING APPARATUS FOR TRANSFERRING OBJECT
20220333436 · 2022-10-20 ·

Proposed is a non-contact safety relaying apparatus for transferring an object, the apparatus including: an apparatus body including, a main body formed to have an internal space through which first and second independent spaces communicate, a horizontal partition extending horizontally at a height of a center of the main body, with at least one relaying hole being pierced therethrough, an upper partition extending upward from a first side of the horizontal partition and forming a first relaying space, a lower partition extending downward from a second side thereof and forming a second relaying space, a first door mounted on the main body in such a manner as to open and close the first relaying space, and a second door mounted on the main body in such a manner as to open and close the second relaying space; and an opening and closing unit opening and closing the relaying hole.

APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR IRRADIATION

An apparatus and method for irradiating a fluid containing a material to be irradiated, comprising at least one irradiation chamber having at least one inlet port, one or more UV radiation sources inside the irradiation chamber(s) optically coupled to the fluid in the irradiation chamber(s) via at least one UV-transparent window in contact with the fluid; one or more seals or gaskets disposed adjacent to the radiation sources to protect them from the fluid; and at least one heat exchange mechanism inside the irradiation chamber(s) thermally coupled to the radiation sources and to the fluid. The UV radiation sources and the at least one heat exchange mechanism are at least partially submerged in the fluid in the irradiation chamber.

COCKPIT MODULE OF PURPOSE-BUILT VEHICLE

Disclosed are cockpit modules for vehicles. The cockpit modules include a crash pad having a predetermined accommodation space, and a drying box, connected to an air conditioner of the vehicle, configured with respect to the crash pad to be storable in the accommodation space of the crash pad. The drying box, when interlocked with the air conditioner, dries and sterilizes items stored therein according to settings associated with the drying box.

Disinfection method using a disinfection agent formed in situ by reaction of H.SUB.2.O.SUB.2 .and NO.SUB.2.-

The invention relates to a disinfection process comprising the feed materials H.sub.2O.sub.2 and NO.sub.2.sup.− and a mixing step and a distribution step, wherein the mixing step and the distribution step (during which each point on the surface being disinfected is wetted with a solution of active substance) are implemented during a processing period Z.sub.A. An exposure step follows, in which the distributed solution of active substance acts upon the surface in contact with the solution of active substance during an exposure period Z.sub.E. In this process, the maximum NO.sub.2.sup.− concentration during the mixing step is of 300 mM, and the time-integrated reaction rate W is represented during the exposure period Z.sub.E by the integral formula (I), where k.sub.1 denotes the pH-value-dependent speed constant of the reaction between H.sub.2O.sub.2 and NO.sub.2.sup.− and the pH value of the solution of active substance before it contacts the surface being disinfected lies in the range of 2.1≤pH≤6.8. The invention also relates to a device for providing the solution of active substance.
