CARTRIDGE AND STERILIZING DEVICE USING SAME
The present invention provides a cartridge used for a sterilization device. The cartridge comprises a sterilant container configured to contain a sterilant used for sterilization and an injector receiving the sterilant contained in the sterilant container through the sterilization device and delivering the sterilant to an article to be sterilized.
Method of Using a Sterilization Wrap System
A method of using a sterilization wrap system including a permeable material having barrier properties and having a first surface and a second opposing surface, the exterior panel being substantially opaque or having a first level of translucence, and an interior panel including a permeable material having barrier properties and having a first surface and a second opposing surface, the interior panel having a level of translucence that is higher than the translucence of the exterior panel, the panels being joined together over at least a portion of their surfaces. Also disclosed is inspection of the sterilization wrap system for exterior panel breaches by looking for light passing through a panel facing the viewer.
Vacuum storage system
A vacuum storage system (40) for storing an article, comprises a sealable outer chamber (30) and a sealable inner chamber (20). The sealable outer chamber (30) has an evacuation valve (21) for connection to a suction device (48) for evacuation of said outer chamber (30). The sealable inner chamber (20) is adapted to receive said article and has a one-way valve (13) in communication with the outer chamber (30). The one-way valve (13) is adapted to open upon the application of suction to the outer chamber (30), thereby to enable evacuation of said inner chamber (20), but to close upon discontinuation of said suction.
STERILE MEDICAL DEVICE PACKAGE, MEDICAL DEVICE SYSTEM, STERILIZATION METHOD FOR MEDICAL DEVICE, AND OPENING METHOD FOR STERILE MEDICAL DEVICE PACKAGE
A sterile medical device package includes a packaging member having an interior space, and a disinfectant solution package located in a first section of the interior space. A second section of the interior space is configured to contain a sterile medical device. The disinfectant solution package is configured to contain a disinfectant solution. The packaging member is configured to form a first opening and the disinfectant solution package is configured to form a second opening. A part of the disinfectant solution package is fixed to the packaging member such that the second opening is formed in conjunction with forming the first opening.
STERILIZATION APPARATUS AND STERILIZATION METHOD
The present invention provides a sterilization apparatus and a sterilization method. The sterilization method includes: an operation in which a sterilant injection block for containing a sterilant and providing a sterilant injection path for injecting the sterilant or a vacuum packaging pouch having the sterilant injection block is mounted inside a vacuum chamber; and an operation in which the vacuum chamber is operated in a chamber mode in which the vacuum chamber is used as a sterilization container when only the sterilant injection block is mounted and the vacuum packaging pouch is operated in a pouch mode in which the vacuum packaging pouch is used as a sterilization container when the vacuum packaging pouch is mounted.
Sterilization pouch
The invention provides a sterilizable pouch having at least one wall formed of a flexible film and including an opening formed therein for providing communication to an interior space of the package. A breathable material is disposed on an outer surface of the wall covering the opening. The breathable material is joined to the outer surface of the wall with a continuous heat seal. The flexible film forming the wall comprises a multilayer film having a peel feature that permits the breathable material to be peelably removed from the surface of the pouch.
Hand Sanitizer Pouch Assembly
A hand sanitizer pouch assembly includes a box that has a dispensing chute integrated therein. A plurality of pouches is each stored in the box. Each of the pouches is individually removable from the dispensing chute in the box and each of the pouches can be individually handled by a respective user to inhibiting contact transmission of bacteria or viruses between a plurality of users. Each of the pouches stores a fluid hand sanitizer and each of the pouches is comprised of a rippable material. In this way a respective one of the pouches can be ripped open by a user thereby facilitating the hand sanitizer to be released from the respective pouch for sanitizing the user's hands.
PORTABLE SANITIZING CLEANING DEVICE AND METHOD OF USE
An apparatus and method for use to allow for portably cleaning and sanitizing a surface, such as a toilet seat, using a flushable product. The surface cleaning device includes a body, and a front head comprising a wrapper encapsulating a wipe. The front head is then inserted into the body and the wrapper is rippable or tearable whereby a user may use a shearing motion to open the wrapper and expose a chemically impregnated wipe for sanitizing a surface. The surface cleaning device is designed to be lightweight, concealable, and portable such as to allow ease of use when carrying in a pocket, purse, or bag. Alternatively, the surface cleaning device may be provided in a dispensing device in or near a restroom, similar to dispensing devices that may hold sanitary napkins, tampons, or toilet seat covers.
Operating room coating applicator and method
The present disclosure provides a coating apparatus and method for applying a coating of a therapeutic agent, comprising an openable and sealable device compartment, a therapeutic agent positioned in communication with the device compartment, a thermal source for vaporizing the therapeutic agent, and a vacuum source in fluid communication with the device compartment.
STERILIZATION OF FACE MASKS AND FACE MASK COMPONENTS
A method of disinfecting personal protective masks and mask filters, includes the step of applying sterilizing ionizing radiation to the personal protective mask while it is disposed in an electromagnetically shielded container.
