AUTOMATED PERITONEAL DIALYSIS DEVICE, SYSTEM AND METHOD OF CUSTOMIZING DIALYSATE SOLUTIONS
An automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) device, system and method is provided, which utilizes mechanisms to admix customized dialysate solutions from multiple sources, while maximizing volumetric accuracy. The present automated peritoneal dialysis (APD) device can accomplish these goals all within the convenience and comfort of the patient's home utilizing filtered tap water.
Blood purification system
The blood purification system includes a plurality of monitoring devices (1) with a dialyzer (5) to perform a blood purification treatment on a patient. A dialysate supplying device (2) supplies a dialysate to each of the monitoring devices (1). The plurality of monitoring devices (1) and the dialysate supplying device (2) are connected to each other by a LAN cable . Predetermined information can be transmitted from the dialysate supplying device (2) to a specified monitoring device (1), out of the plurality of monitoring devices (1). The specified monitoring device (1) can perform an individual operation.
Pharmaceutical compositions containing steviosides
The present invention relates to pharmaceutical compositions containing steviol glycoside and or steviol glycoside derivatives as well as to their use as osmotics in particular for use in the treatment of chronic renal failure by dialysis.
PORTABLE DIALYSIS DRAINAGE SYSTEM AND METHOD
A toilet modified for disposal of dialysis waste includes a base, a bowl, a water supply port, and a dialysis drain port. In the dialysis drain port is a two piece air gap device that establishes a gap between ends of first and second drain tubes of a dialysis machine and a fluid level in the air gap. RO water and effluent from the dialysis machine enter the chamber of the air gap and mix, before being passed along a path from the dialysis drain port to the bowl of the toilet, where it can be dispelled in a sanitary manner in compliant with all pertinent codes and regulations.
Blood purification system
A blood purification system includes a plurality of monitoring devices (1) each attached to a dialyzer (5) to perform a blood purification treatment on a patient. A dialysate supplying device (2) supplies a dialysate to each of the monitoring devices (1). The plurality of monitoring devices (1) and the dialysate supplying device (2) are connected to each other by a LAN cable . Thus, predetermined individual information relating to the plurality of monitoring devices (1) is transmitted from each of the monitoring devices (1) to the dialysate supplying device (2).
Portable hemodialysis machine and disposable cartridge with blood leak sensor
A portable hemodialysis system is provided including a disposable cartridge and a reused dialysis machine. The disposable cartridge includes a dialysate flow path and a blood flow path which flow in opposite directions through a dialyzer. The disposable cartridge includes a filter for removing waste products from the dialysate. The reused dialysis machine possesses a reservoir for dialysate, various sensors including a blood leak sensor assembly, and a processor connected to the various sensors for controlling and monitoring hemodialysis treatment. The blood leak sensor assembly includes a light source for emitting light through the dialysate flow path and a light sensor for receiving light having passed through the dialysate flow path. The processor is connected to the light source for determining whether blood has leaked from the blood flow path into the dialysate flow path. Preferably, the light source emits light having two peak wavelengths.
Dialysis precursor composition
A dialysis acid precursor assembly including: a bicarbonate containing concentrate and a dialysis acid concentrate solution including powder components mixed with water. The powder components include (1) a sodium chloride powder, (2) at least one dry acid powder, and (3) a magnesium chloride 4.5-hydrate (MgCl.sub.2.4.5H.sub.2O) powder in a quantity such that a concentration of about 7.5-50 mM magnesium ions is provided in the dialysis acid concentrate solution.
Dialysis solutions comprising organic esters of phosphoric acid
This document relates to bi-carbonate-buffered dialysis solutions with physiological phosphate content and increased stability. The solutions include an organic ester of phosphoric acid, calcium ions and/or magnesium ions, and optionally additional electrolytes, buffers and glucose in physiologically effective concentrations.
DEVICE FOR EXTRACORPOREAL BLOOD TREATMENT COMPRISING AN IMPROVED ARRANGEMENT OF A BLOOD TREATMENT DEVICE
A device for extracorporeal blood treatment, in particular a dialysis device, including an internal fluidic system for a treatment liquid, in particular for a dialysis liquid, the internal fluidic system having at least two liquid connectors for connecting a substantially cylindrical filter element, in particular a dialyzer, to the internal fluidic system for passing a treatment liquid through the filter element, and including a mounting for exchangeably holding the filter element in such a way that the filter element can be connected to the liquid connectors of the internal fluidic system and to an extracorporeal blood line in an intended manner, wherein the mounting for holding the filter element is designed in such a way that a cylinder longitudinal axis of the filter element is substantially horizontally aligned.
NOVEL SODIUM DIACETATE CRYSTAL AND SOLID DIALYSIS PREPARATION COMPRISING SAID CRYSTAL
A novel highly stable sodium diacetate crystal, in which the volatilization of acetic acid can be suppressed for a long period. More specifically, a sodium diacetate crystal having a median diameter in the range of 300 to 3000 m.
