11550638 · 2023-01-10 · ·

Methods, systems, and apparatus, including computer programs encoded on a computer storage medium, for reducing latency in presenting content. In one aspect, a system includes a native application that presents an interactive item and a latency reduction engine. The latency reduction engine detects interaction with the interactive item that links to a first electronic resource that is different from the native application and provided by a first network domain and in response to the detecting, reduces latency in presenting the first electronic resource, including executing a first processing thread and a second processing thread in parallel. The first processing thread requests a second electronic resource from a second network domain and loads the second electronic resource and, in response to the loading, stores a browser cookie for the second network domain. The second processing thread requests the first electronic resource and presents the first electronic resource.

Radio bearer switching in radio access

In accordance with the example embodiments of the invention there is performing a communication including transmitting packets of a first traffic subflow and packets of a second traffic subflow via a first radio bearer to a second device; detecting that further packets of the second traffic subflow are to be transmitted via a second radio bearer to the second device; and based on the detecting, transmitting a packet data unit via the first radio bearer to the second device, wherein the packet data unit includes an indication of a switch of the second traffic flow to the second radio bearer, and wherein packets of the first traffic flow continues to be transmitted via the first radio bearer. In accordance with the example embodiments there is receiving from a first device a communication packets of a first traffic subflow and packets of a second traffic subflow via a first radio bearer; receiving from the first device a packet data unit including an indication that further packets of the second traffic subflow are to be received via a second radio bearer, wherein the first traffic flow continues to be received via the first radio bearer; establishing the second radio bearer between a second device and the first device; and based on the establishing, receiving the further packets of the second traffic flow via the second radio bearer.

The present disclosure relates to data transmission methods and apparatus. One example method includes receiving, by user equipment, a first message sent by a control plane network element or a user plane network element, where the first message includes a correspondence between a first quality of service identifier NQI and a first reflective quality of service identifier (RQI), obtaining, by the user equipment, a second message sent by the user plane network element, and if the second message does not carry a second RQI, generating, by the user equipment, a first quality of service rule based on the second message and the correspondence between the first NQI and the first RQI, where the second RQI is used to instruct the user equipment to activate a reflective quality of service (RQ) mechanism.

METHOD FOR AUTOMATICALLY ENABLING ACCESS POINT FUNCTION AND RELAY FUNCTION, AND ELECTRONIC DEVICE
20230217294 · 2023-07-06 ·

Embodiments of this application relate to the field of terminal technologies and disclose a method for automatically enabling an access point function and a relay function, and an electronic device. After an electronic device is powered on, if the electronic device is connected to a wired network and does not use the network within preset duration, an AP mode is enabled; or if the electronic device is connected to a wireless network and does not use the network within preset duration, a repeater mode is enabled. The AP function and the relay function can be automatically enabled on the electronic device such as a personal computer or a smart screen, and an existing device of a consumer can be set as an AP or a repeater. The consumer does not need to buy a dedicated AP or repeater. This improves Wi-Fi use experience of the consumer.

Channel coordination method and apparatus

Provided are a channel coordination method and apparatus. The method may be used by a first access point (AP) that is currently serving a terminal. In response to determining that a channel needs to be configured for a real-time service initiated by the terminal, the first AP detects a second AP that requires channel coordination. The first AP sends channel coordination request signalling to the second AP, wherein the channel coordination request signalling comprises a designated channel that the first AP requests to coordinate. In response to receiving first channel coordination feedback signalling, which is used for indicating to agree to coordinate the designated channel, sent from the second AP, the first AP determines, according to the first channel coordination feedback signalling, that the second AP agrees to coordinate the designated channel.

DISTINGUISHING BETWEEN QUALITY OF SERVICE MANAGEMENT FRAMES (QMFS) AND NON-QMFS IN PROTOCOL VERSION 1 (PV1)

A method by a wireless transmitting device is disclosed for indicating a partial traffic identifier (PTID) or an access category index (ACI) in a header compression element. The method includes generating a frame that includes the header compression element, wherein the header compression element includes a first subfield that is for indicating a PTID of a quality of service (QoS) data frame or an ACI of a QoS management frame and a second subfield indicating whether the first subfield indicates the PTID of the QoS data frame or the ACI of the QoS management frame. The method further includes transmitting the frame through a wireless medium.

HIGH RELIABILITY COMMUNICATION IN VEHICLE-TO-EVERYTHING (V2X) SYSTEMS ON SIDELINK AND RADIO NETWORK LINK INTERFACES
20230217467 · 2023-07-06 ·

Certain aspects of the present disclosure provide techniques for wireless communications in a vehicle-to-everything (V2X) system. An example method generally includes receiving, from a user equipment (UE) through a serving network entity, a request for information from the V2X application server, wherein the request includes an indication of a type of the requested information and a location of the UE; identifying one or more parameters for transmission of the requested information to the UE via a transmitter UE; and transmitting, to the serving network entity, the requested information for transmission to the UE through the transmitter UE based on the identified parameters.

Packet formats for vehicular networks

A first communication device is configured to process packets that conform to a first physical layer (PHY) protocol for wireless vehicular communications and packets that conform to a second PHY protocol for wireless vehicular communications. The first communication device determines that multiple frames are to be transmitted to a second communication device during a transmit opportunity period (TXOP), and determines that one or more third communication devices neighboring the first communication device are not capable of processing packets that conform to the second PHY protocol. In response, the first communication device transmits a first packet that conforms to the first PHY protocol and that includes duration information for the TXOP, and transmits a second packet that conforms to the second PHY protocol to the second communication device during the TXOP.
