METHODS, SYSTEMS, AND DEVICES FOR MAINTAINING SERVICE CONTINUITY OF A USER END DEVICE VIA A DIRECT COMMUNICATION LINK TO A COMMUNICATION RELAY WHEN THE COMMUNICATION RELAY EXPERIENCES A MOBILITY EVENT IN A MOBILE NETWORK
Aspects of the subject disclosure may include, for example, obtaining media content from a media content server over a mobile network, and providing the media content to a communication device over a first direct communication link. Embodiments include detecting a mobility event associated with the mobile network, and providing a notification message to a first network device associated with the mobile network. Further embodiments can include obtaining instructions from the first network device, wherein the instructions indicate to provide a mobility event notification. Other embodiments are disclosed.

Change of tracking area code for wireless networks
Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. In some non-terrestrial networks, the movement of satellites may result in the movement of cell coverage. A user equipment (UE) may experience changing cell coverage due to the movement of cell coverage, even if the UE is stationary. A UE may be configured to determine a cell is serving two or more earth-fixed tracking areas, determine whether to monitor paging resources of a first earth-fixed tracking area or a second earth-fixed tracking area, and monitor the selected paging resources. In some aspects, the UE may determine that a cell serves two or more earth-fixed tracking areas based on a received control message including multiple tracking area indicators. In some aspects, the UE may determine which paging resources to monitor based on a geographic position of the UE.
Flexible paging procedure
A method includes determining a parameter of a coverage enhancement policy employed by a communication system. The method also includes setting a timing configuration (371-373, 391-393, 605, 606) of a discontinuous reception cycle (370-2, 370-3) employed by a terminal (101) of the communication system depending on the parameter. The method also includes communicating a paging signal in accordance with the timing configuration (371-373, 391-393, 605, 606) of the discontinuous reception cycle (370-2, 370-3) and the coverage enhancement policy.

Focused cellular network paging
Solutions for focused cellular network paging of a user equipment (UE) include: detecting, by a network, a network exit of the UE from a last known cell and an exit condition for the UE; determining, by the network, a network paging condition; based on at least the last known cell and the exit condition for the UE, determining, by the network, a set of priority paging cells; paging the UE with the set of priority paging cells; and based on at least failing to receive a response by paging the UE with the set of priority paging cells, paging the UE with a larger set of cells. In some examples, the network topology is also used for determining the set of priority paging cells. By starting with the set of priority paging cells, rather than wider global paging, fewer cells are used for paging, thereby saving network bandwidth.
Systems and methods for math-based currency escrow transactions
Systems and methods for verifying a digital title of an asset transferred via a math-based currency transaction. The method includes receiving a digital title request regarding an asset, creating a digital title for the asset in a digital title database, receiving, from a financial institution computing system, an asset transfer request regarding the asset that is the subject of the math-based currency transaction, verifying that an identity of a seller in the math-based currency transaction matches the identity of the owner of the asset. Then, responsive to the verification that the identity of the seller in the math-based currency transaction matches the identity of the owner of the asset, the method includes transmitting, to the financial institution computing system, a positive title verification and updating the identity of the asset of the digital title for the asset to match an identity of a buyer in the math-based currency transaction.
Tracking Area Planning
A method is disclosed for improved tracking area planning and handling, comprising: assigning a single tracking area code to a plurality of eNodeBs at a messaging concentrator gateway, the messaging concentrator gateway situated in a network between the plurality of eNodeBs and the core network; storing, at the messaging concentrator gateway, at least one indicator of a last known location of a user equipment (UE) other than the single tracking area code; receiving a paging message from the core network at the messaging concentrator gateway for a UE; and performing a paging sequence using the at least one indicator to identify a set of eNodeBs to page the UE, thereby allowing larger tracking area list sizes to be used without increasing signaling traffic between the radio access network and the core network.
