Portable bidet device and system
A portable bidet can include a bidet tank that can contain a liquid for personal washing, a hand pump, a bidet hose, a control valve with a control lever, an angulated wand that includes a bend with a re-angulation, a spray nozzle, such that the portable bidet can be used by a person sitting on a toilet, such that the angulated wand protrudes downward and rearward between legs of the person, such that the bend of the angulated wand directs the spray of the liquid towards a perineal-genital-anal area of the person. The liquid can include water, and optionally soap and a hemorrhoid treatment composition.
EAR, NOSE, AND THROAT IRRIGATOR
An ear, nose, and throat irrigator includes a bottle body, a housing; a water pump, a first tube body, a second tube body, and a shielding cover. A first end of the housing is connected with the bottle body. A spray head is arranged on a second end of the housing. The water pump is arranged in the housing. A first end of the first tube body is inserted into the bottle body. A second end of the first tube body is connected with a water inlet joint of the water pump. A first end of the second tube body is connected with a water outlet joint the water pump. A second end of the second tube body is connected with the spray head. The shielding cover is arranged on the spray head. The shielding cover is configured to shield water sprayed from the spray head.
Device and method for the lavage-type introduction of a fecal transplant or of a therapeutically effective substance into the colon of a patient
A device and a method for a lavage-type introduction of a stool transplant or of another, local or topically effective substance through the anus into the colon of a patient, wherein the substance to be introduced is flushed also into the upper parts of the colon of the patient in a torrent-like manner through correspondingly large-lumen catheters; said device comprises an ano-rectal placed head part remaining inside the patient from the beginning until the end of the application and a system of exchangeable bags, which are connectable to the head part, whereby two different types of bags can be applied, one of which is designed for the cleaning lavage, while the another is designed for the introduction of a substance or a transplant.
Hollow organ irrigation systems
Components for use in hollow organ irrigation systems are provided, including collapsible and expandable liquid reservoirs, self-supporting liquid containers for liquid reservoirs, and retaining elements for rectal catheters, which may be inflatable or un-inflatable.
Administration device and method for producing same
A delivery device includes a base body having an outlet opening and a chamber for receiving a flowable substance to be administered. The base body, having first and second film portions attached to each other by a connection with a plurality of regions, being configured to discharge the substance through the outlet opening by compressing the chamber. The delivery device further includes a pouring adapter tightly connected to the outlet opening. The plurality of regions of the connection include a more resilient region and a less resilient region that are arranged between the chamber and the outlet opening. When the chamber is compressed to discharge the substance through the outlet opening, the less resilient region is configured to come undone and the more resilient region is configured to remain connected so that the substance can be discharged solely through the outlet opening and the pouring adapter by compressing the chamber.
NON-CONTACT RADIO-FREQUENCY HEATING
A control unit and methods for operating the control unit to perform non-contact radio-frequency (RF) heating of a fluid flowing through or contained within a non-contact radio-frequency heating element.
Trans anal irrigation platform with bed module
A trans anal irrigation device that can be used on a bed. The device includes a rectal catheter connected to an irrigation fluid supply. A waste collection bag is also connected to the catheter. The catheter may be insertable in a seat attached to a fluid supply line. A valve in one of the catheter or seat selectably allows or prevents fluid communication between the catheter and a waste collection bag. The catheter may include an inflationless cuff made of a flexible material that permits it to be inserted in the rectum to prevent leakage around the exterior of the catheter.
NASAL IRRIGATION DEVICE AND SYSTEM WITH FAUX COLLAPSIBLE CARTRIDGE ELEMENT
A nasal irrigation device communicates an irrigant to a device user and comprises a mechanics module and a reservoir assembly wherein a source of saline comprising a cartridge is disposed within the mechanics module adjacent a lid assembly for piercing the cartridge upon closing of a lid for releasing the cartridge contents into the reservoir assembly. A faux collapsible cartridge for testing operability of a nasal irrigation device comprises a housing including a shaft, a spring biased rod extending from the housing shaft, and a flange depending from a housing wall whereby the rod and flange are disposed to actuate a trigger assembly of the nasal irrigation device.
PREPARATION AND DELIVERY OF FLUIDS FOR SURGERY
The apparatus pre-treats fluid and then delivers it to a patient during surgery, for example a hyperthermic intra-peritoneal chemotherapy (HIPEC) procedure. It comprises a reservoir (2) for the fluid, a reversible pump (10) and a valve assembly (22). In a recirculation mode, the pump (10) is operated in one direction to draw fluid from the reservoir (2), through the valve assembly (22) and back to the reservoir (2), while the fluid is pre-treated by heating, for example. In a fluid delivery mode, the pump (10) is operated in an opposite direction to draw fluid from the reservoir (2) and deliver the fluid through the valve assembly (22) to a port (30) from which it can be supplied to the patient. A second pump (12) may be provided for drawing fluid from the patient via a return port (48). The pumps (10,12) may be peristaltic pumps integrated with the walls of the reservoir (2).
FLUID DISPENSING APPARATUS FOR IRRIGATING A BODY CAVITY
A fluid dispensing apparatus for irrigating a body cavity includes a fluid container assembly, a cap member, and a tip member. The fluid container assembly defines a longitudinal axis and includes a fluid container and an inlet assembly fixedly secured to the fluid container. The cap member is selectively rotatably attached to the inlet assembly. The tip member is selectively attachable to the cap member in response to rotation of the tip member about the longitudinal axis of the fluid container assembly.
